I woke up with no memory of how I got to my pod.

"Morning bug." My dad told me.

"Morning dad." I said getting off my mat and started helping my mother cook. "Neteyam brought you home, he said you fell asleep while yall were hanging out... long day?" She asked.

"Oh yeah, we had a lot of fun together though." I added smiling down at the ground. "You must really like him." My dad said rubbing my back and handing me a bowl of crushed fruit.

"I guess you could say that.. I don't know how well the villagers would accept it. Makes me scared of being Tsahik." I said admittingly.

"Ri.. you don't have to be scared. If they don't accept you then they can suck it up. You maybe Tsahik. They cannot stop you. We'll be right by your side, and don't forget. The ceremony is tonight to determine who is going to rule along with their mate between you and your brother. "

I had forgotten about the ceremony. I couldn't wait but I wonder if the sullys knew. I must tell them.

"Thank you mother, I'm going to meet up with the sully kids today." I said as I ran out the pod.

I could feel eyes on me guessing it was my parents. I couldn't stop I was already late to the meetup time.

I dove into the water hurrying to meet up, but they already left so I headed to the spirit tree. It was almost midday already so I slept in a little later than usual.

Aonung wouldn't show up to the hangout as he was preparing for the ceremony but I had plenty of time. I took me a bit to catch up but they were hopping off their ilus as I got there.

"I'm glad you got up bug." Tsireya said then all eyes were on me.

"Oh yes sorry I slept a little late then ate. I am sorry." I said. Neteyam smiled as I got off my ilu. We went down to the spirit tree as tsireya, rotxo and I showed the others to connect their ques.

I connected and immediately went into a vision.

I was a bit taller with someone by my side, he was darker and a foot taller.. Neteyam.

We walked together as he had something in his arms. Everyone congratulated us but I had no idea why so I walked and smiled.

Just then we walked into a familiar pod.. the sullys pod and there stood Jake and Neytiri. Neteyam handed the two the thing he was holding in his arms. I had my arms wrapped around his left as I watched eagerly to see what was in the wrapped up blankets.

Just then Jake pulled away the blanket from its face.. it was a baby.

"Her name is Zaza" Neteyam said.

Zaza?? We had a baby girl?

I was pulled from my vision as Tsireya pulled me up to the surface. I looked confused until a saw an unconscious Kiri while Neteyam gave mouth to mouth.

She must have had a seizure.

We started swimming to shore when me and tsireya was panicking. Neteyam brought Kiri to their pod as I held Tuk in my arms. She was crying until she eventually fell asleep in my arms.

I didn't want to disturb the sullys and make her wake up to hactic so I brought her to my pod and set her on my mat. It was already eclipse so Neteyam and Loak stayed in our pod along with Tuk. My parents and aonung were preparing for the ceremony and it had to be delayed.

All 6 of us slept peacefully  except Neteyam. I woke up to the nets moving around under me. I opened my eyes and sat up a bit when I saw Neteyam walk out the pod and sat on the side playing in the water with his feet.

I got up and sat beside him.

"Why're you up?" He asked. "I saw you come out here" I replied.

"Did I wake you up. I am.. I am sorry. The situation with Kiri. I-I'm just so stressed and haven't been able to sleep. I hoped coming out here will do a little good. " I felt bad for him.

He has had a hard time here from Aonung to even moving here to now Kiri. I wasn't fair for any of them but I could help but be there for them. It was the best I could do.

I rubbed his back as I felt his head lay on my shoulder.

"You shouldn't go through this.. it's unfair." I said very faintly almost mumbling. "It's okay, it's not your fault." He replied.

I felt his fingers linking with mine as we breathed in harmony. We held hands until he raised his head and his amber eyes looked into my ocean eyes.

I felt his breath against my skin when he started leaning in. Still holding hands our lips touched lightly. He took his other hand cupping my jaw as I kept myself up.

It felt perfect.

He was warm and tasted like fruits. It was sweet and time had paused I tried hard not to breath so heavily as my heart was racing and I was getting butterflies.

He pulled away only for me to get on my knees and cup his face into a deeper kiss.

I had been waiting for this moment and never wanted it to end.

We both pulled away as we smiled at eachother and rested our foreheads against eachother.

Come on don't be a pussy just say it.

"I see you, Miniri.." he whispered.

I didn't have to make the first move

"I see you Neteyam." I whispered. Pecked him on the lips and leaned my head on his shoulder. He laid his head on mine and just fell asleep. I did also but much later.
