Saera Pov

I woke up by the sound of my alarm and i stood up headed to the bathroom and did my morning routine. I went downstairs as i was ready. I started to cooked for breakfast.

"Noona" i heard Seohoon calling me "What?" i asked without looking at him. "Abeoji is sick" he explain. I turn to look at him "I'll bring him to go for a check later. Thank you" i thanked him for the information.

"Welcome. Noona..can you send me to school?" i frowned. But his school isn't that far. "Ok. Why?" i asked while serving the food on the table. "There's dogs everywhere..I'm scared" i nodded and asked him to sit down.

"You're a man. Shouldn't be scared to a dog. Just be scared about death. Man are strong and brave. Ok?" i encourage him and he nodded. "Good. I'll check on Abeoji" i said and leave the kitchen to Abeoji's Room.

I knock before coming in. "Abeoji?" i heard coughing so i went inside and found him laying on the bed. "You okay?" of course not! He would deny it. Pabo! I mentally face palm myself

"I'm fine" told you! I thought. "Wait here" i was about to left when he held my wrist "I can't stand up. So i won't go anywhere. Don't worry just go to work" he insist. But i ignore it. I hold his wrist and put them on his chest

"Abeoji..please.." i begged him and stood up to get my things.

I went inside again and examine him. His heart beat isn't that normal. I kept smiling as i don't want to worry him. "Just..rest okay?" i advised him and he nodded weakly.

"I'm going to work now." i said and left the room. I sighed and leaned against the wall. I shook my head and headed to the door and already saw Seohoon in the car.

I smiled and went in the car. "Ready? Are you late?" i asked as if i was taking a long time. He shook and i start the engine. "Let's go" inside and drove off to his Highschool.

"Have a good day" i said before he went out the car. He was about to opened the door but he stopped "Abeoji said he wants to meet you at your lunch hour" he said and left the car.

Meet me at lunch hour? I sighed and started to drove off to Haesung Hospital. On my way there, i kept thinking about it. I really need to stop thinking so much. I said to myself and focus on the road.

I entered the building and the chief called me to his office. I wondered what is it? I walked towards his office and knocked before went in. "Ahh..Park Saeraa You're here" he greet me nicely.

I saw a tall guy was talking to him. He didn't turn instead he kept back facing me. Why would he call me when there's someone in here with him? I thought.

"Urmm..why did you want to see me?" i asked while looking at the chief then the guy. "Sit down please" he command. I obey and sat down next to the guy. A bit far.

"You must be wondering why i called you right?" he asked while wiggling his eyes brows. I nodded and he continue " As you can see, Doctor Minhyun will no longer will be your partner. Because she will transfered to another Hospital" I've heard that news.

"Well, we were searching for a new doctor for being your partner and replace Doctor Minhyun's place. May i introduce you to Doctor Park Bogum" he pointed at the guy beside me.

I turned to looked at him and he was already looked at me. Wait..isn't him the..Jerk from last night?! "You?!" we said in unison. I looked at him and he look at me.

"So you to met already? Good! It'll be easy for you too now. Doc. Saera please escort him to the room please. You both can go now" he said. I stood up and bowed politely at the chief so did he.

I walked towards the door and opened it. I close it before he could get out. I walked fastly leaving him behind. "Yahh!! Wait for me..aigoo" he mumbled at the end of the sentences. He ran to catch up with me.

I glare at him, he glare at me. I stare at him, he stare at me.

"What?!" we said unison. "Stop copying me!" we said unison again. We groan and do out own jobs.

"Yahh..Saera.." he called my name. I turned to looked at him with intense gaze. "What" i said coldly.

"I'm sorry..for that night.." he apologised. I half squeezed my eyes and looked at him.

"I'm serious.." he said. I sighed and turned fully to him.

"Whatever..just do your job" i said and left him to the emergency section.

It was lunch hour and i was about to got meet my father at home when my phone buzzed twice. It was a message from Taehyung and Bogum

Where are you? Are you free now?- Taehyung

With that i drove off to my apartment. As i was arrived, i saw Abeoji laid on the floor while coughing. My eyes widened and ran to him. "Abeoji! I told you to get rest" i said in worried tone.

I help him to stand and laid him on the couch. "Do you need anything?" i asked. He shook his head and i sighed. " Are you sure?" i asked unsatisfied "I'm fine"

i went to the kitchen and comeback with a glass of warm water and a medicine. "Eat this" i command. I help him to eat the medicine and laid his head back on the pillow.

"Seohoon told me that you wanted to meet me at my lunch hour. Why?" i asked as i getting curious.

"Saera..i have a request to make..can you..do it..before i..gone with..your Eomma" he said weakly.

"Aishh..Don't said like that" i said as i was about to cry.

"What is it?" i tried to hold my tears as i saw my father's condition.

"i want you to get marry. If you have someone in your heart, please bring him to me. If you don't i already have choose one for you" he explain. I was gaze out as i thought about it.

"I'll think about it" i said and he held my hand. Firmly "Please..i don't have much time..i need that moment so i can tell your mother" he said. My vision blurred. I nodded roughly and hugged him. "Thank you" he whisper.

I was thinking on how to say it to Taehyung about my Father request. I decide to face him and told him about this. I text him.

Park. Now

I grabbed my things and ready for leaving my apartment to the Park and meet Taehyung. The park wasn't that far instead it was near to the Hospital.

The park was full with kids and children playing. A whole family having fun picnic. I envy them who have a happy family.

"Saera" a familiar voice called out made me turn.

"Tae.." he slides his hand into his jeans pocket. "What is it you need to tell me?" he asked. I took a deep breath and spit it out.

"Let's get marry" i said which made him shocked.

He froze like that for a moment then he shook his head slightly. I frowned. "We can't Saera.." he said slowly but enough for me to hear

"But...why?" i asked. Tears already forming in my eyes.

"Can't you see? Before we became couples, our lives we perfect but after that, you and me have been suffered a lot. It doesn't work for us.." he explain. I scoffed.

"Is that how you think? What you think has happen to us is just because we became couples? Taehyung..it's fate. None of us want it. We didn't ask for it to happen..please..don't do this to me." i begged him and he avoid my eye contact.

He held his shoulders to make him look at me.

"Taehyung..." he cutted me off

"Saera..please..i don't want you shed more tears just because of me. I promise my self for not making you cry anymore. If you won't agree with my decision..then... I have no choice..but to leave you" with that he left me alone at the park.

I looked as his figure began to fade from my sight. I sat on the bench and cry all my heart out. "How could you..Taehyung..." i spend all day at the park until it was dark.

I went home with puffed eyes. "Noona..why didn't you..." i ignore Seohoon and went into my room. I laid there and the moment played in my mind which made me cry again.

I cry harder as i recall what he said "It doesn't work for us.." " i have no choice but to leave you". I began to cry harder and harder until i was tired and fell asleep with tears still streaming down.
