"We need someone who can serve." you place your hands on your knees and pant.

"(y/n)-chan!! I am right here!!" Oikawa waves his hand in front of you.

"(n/n)-chan doesn't like you. And we've been trying to practice without you this entire time." Kuroo smirks.

"I wasn't talking to you. Get over yourself." Oikawa had started getting tired of anything Kuroo said. So he would give him back sassy responses.

"You two are so annoying. That's why I like these guys more." you point to your side of the net that had Bokuto, Iwaizumi, and Akaashi, knowing it would tick both of them off.

"(n/n)-chan? Speaking about liking, you were in one of the magazine things for volleyball. You and Ushijima had a full page dedicated to each of you. But your leader was also in a small section of it." Bokuto pokes his chin.

"They like me more Oikawa." you tease.

"At least she gave me a nickname." Tetsu smirks.

"I have many names, excuse you." Oikawa puts his hands on his hips.

"Yea like trashykawa." you turn Iwaizumi.

"Crappykawa."

"Assikawa."

"Shittykawa."

"Crybabykawa." you and Iwaizumi continue.

"Okay, okay, I get it." Kuroo stops and Oikawa smirks, not knowing if he's happy, or offended.

"Are we getting back to practice, or can I just go like the other Fukurodani members?" Akaashi comes behind you.

"Yea. We don't need a server that bad. I'll continue to do it." you get back in position when you spot someone entering the door.

You walk over to the standing blond first year in front of you. "Oya." you start in the middle.

"Oya oya." Bokuto comes from the left.

"Oya oya oya." Kuroo from the right.

"There's something I'd like to ask. May I?" Tsukishima looks at the 6 of you.

"Sure!" Kuroo and Bokuto say.

"Thank you very much." he bows.

"All three of your schools are sometimes considered powerhouse schools, right?" Everyone got slightly annoyed at his 'sometimes' comment.

"Well, yea."

"Even if you were able to make it to nationals, actually winning there would be difficult, right?" Tsukishima looks directly at you.

"But not impossible!" you respond trying to sound confident.

"Now, now, let's hear him out. This is just a 'what if'." Akaashi holds you back.

"I seriously can't figure out why everyone can be so determined. Volleyball is just a club, and maybe you'll get to write, 'I worked really hard in my club in high school,' on your resume, right?"

"Just a club?" Bokuto growls. "That almost sounds like someone's name."

"Not this again." you facepalm and look at Akaashi.

"Oooh like Mary Club?" Kuroo looks at Bokuto. You stare at them in disbelief.

"How do you deal with these two Akaashi?" You look to your side.

"It was worse when you were with them (y/n)-san."

"Say, four-eyes!" Bokuto yells startling you.

"It's Tsukishima."

"Say, Tsukishima-kun, is volleyball fun?" Bokuto says.

"Not really."

"Maybe that's because you suck. I'm a third-year and I've been to nationals," You knew he wasn't talking to you but this still made you slightly upset. "And I'm better than you. Like way better."

"You don't have to tell me that."

"But I only just started thinking that volleyball was fun. Ever since my straight became usable in matches. Because my crossed hit, which I was really good at, kept getting blocked, I got frustrated and practiced the hell out of straights. And... at the tournament, the same blockers couldn't touch it. I got right past them. Just that one shot made me feel like the time had finally come. It all depends on if you have that moment or not. It doesn't really matter what happens in the future, or if you can win the next match. The joy you feel of beating the guy in front of you, and seeing you're able to pull out 120% of your potential, is everything. Well, at least that's how it is for me. And it doesn't mean that it applies to everyone. I don't really understand why you're saying it's 'just a club,' but, I don't think you're wrong. But once that moment arrives for you, that's the moment you'll be hooked on volleyball." Bokuto points to Tsukishima. "All right, I answered your question, now help with blocking." Bokuto claps his hand and pushes him to the court.

"All right, now. Come on, hurry it up." Kuroo helps out too. Your eyes grow big as you remembered something. Yamaguchi!! You think.

"Uhh, guys I'll be right back. Iwa-chan come with me." You pull him to the doors.

"I wanna go too."

"Stay here. You have to learn to get along with Tetsu."

"But-" he wants to say but you walk away with Iwaizumi.

--

"Where are we going?" Iwa-chan asks you.

"I think I should train Yamaguchi some techniques for serves." you walk with him beside you.

"Did you get your wisdom from Bokuto? He sounds like a very wise guy." Iwaizumi looks over at you.

"Yea, well sorta. Bokuto was always the person who gave me advice when I was little. Don't get me wrong though, Bokuto can also be a very unique person."

"What do you mean unique?"

"Well in matches he can make such a sudden change. I don't really know how to explain it." You look over your shoulder.

You enter the gym and you see the Karasuno team practicing. They all turn to look at you and Iwaizumi. "Hey guys, I was wondering if we could train with Yamaguchi for a bit." You turn your head to him and he jumps a tiny bit.

"Sure." Daichi tells you.

You walk towards Yamaguchi and smile at him. He smiles back and scratches his head. "Yamaguchi, can we practice with your serves. While we do that, we can train you and give you some feedback on them." Yamaguchi nods his head determined to learn from you.

"I have a question though, may I?" he looks over at you and Iwaizumi. You both nod your heads signaling for him to continue. "We are opponents. So, why are you helping me, when I could be a possible threat? Wouldn't that just make things worse?"

"Look, Yamaguchi." You place your hand on his shoulder, "In matches, I want Karasuno to do their very best. Even if that makes us deal with more challenges. That would just make the match more fun. Wouldn't it?" you smirk and then turn your expression to an innocent one. "Let's continue."

--

After finishing practice, you grab your bag next to all the other bags of the Aoba Johsai team. You were left alone, only having Bokuto to talk to. The other members left without a word and they allowed Bokuto to stay. You look at the floor and see Oikawa's phone. You pick it up and place it in your pocket, remembering yourself to return it to him. Although, your curiosity took over you.

You walk out the doors to meet the captain. "Took you long enough." Bokuto looks at you.

"Sorry Ko. Oikawa left his phone in the gym and I'm trying to figure out his password. I've put in any number that comes to my mind and it's just not unlocking."

"Why don't you just try putting in your birthday? I'm sure he's a good friend of yours and your special day is important to him."

"That's stupid but I'll try." You say and began to type in your birth date. Surprisingly the phone unlocks and you let out a sigh of relief. "Finally." His phone opens and goes straight to pictures which you assumed he just left open when he left his phone behind. It took you by surprise what picture you saw. There stands a girl in a bathroom. The camera faces the mirror specifically pointing out the glasses that she is wearing. It doesn't take you long to figure out who this girl is.

"Why did you suddenly get so... Woah! Who's this pretty girl?" Bokuto points to the screen.

"Ko." The both of you stop and Bokuto turns to you.

"Yea?"

"That's a picture of me."
