Later that night Dib began to pack for the trip ahead of him, holding the check in his hand he received earlier. He was going to finally leave this hell behind him and start a new life. He grabbed his bags and slowly walked past the garage trying not to wake the plant in the open garage door. "Feed me." It muttered still in its resting position. "Under no circumstances." Dib replied. "FEED ME!" The plant yelled getting up. "I can't keep doing this anymore!!!" Dib yelled back matching his volume. "Tough titty.", "You watch your language! Look I'll go to Mac Meaties to get you a nice sloppy joe." The plant didn't seem amused, but he complied. "You sure do drive a hard bargain." The plant said stone coldly. "Fine." Dib stormed off but then turned around to add one more thing. "And don't think your getting any desert!" As Dib finally made his exit, the plant had decided to brew some other plans.
Y/N 2 had found an old phone at the corner of the garage to use, but it was a matter of getting to it. Though it had no trouble as it grabbed it with its vines and dialed your number patiently waiting. Back at home, as you got ready to say goodbye to your longtime friend the phone rang. "Hello?" You answered. At first you didn't recognize the voice as it was high key flirting with you. As you tried to figure it out who it was you came to the only conclusion since it was Dib's Number. You immediately began to flush a bright red pacing back and forth. "D-dib look we already talked about this...I'm not-," Before you could answer, a streak of panic hit you as you though maybe there was something else on the other line. You dropped your phone racing to your bike to go to the garage. Maybe Zim wasn't dead after all? But how could that be possible? As you rode your bike an object started to appear in the middle of the road. You slammed on the breaks, and instantly faced the consequences. As soon as you got up Gir was right in front of you in the flesh.
"Y/N have you seen my master? I wanna give him my present!" He held a dead skunk to your face which caused you to recoil. "Oh Gir...I don't know where he is..." you thought for a moment and an idea sprung into your head. "Here. Maybe we'll find answers." You said picking him up and putting him in your basket.
"Where we goin? Can we get some bacon?" As he continued to ask you a plethora of questions, you trudged on demanding answers from this mysterious voice on the phone. Once you finally arrived, there was no need for hesitation. You opened the door to find the plant fully towering above you, making you regret what you did. "I don't believe it..." you whispered out. "Believe it baby. It talks!" You shook your head in disbelief. "I must be dreaming." You said slowly making your way back to the door to make a run for it. "No. And you ain't in Kansas ether." The plant replied slowly wrapping it's vine around your leg. "I-I better get going." You said attempting to open the door. But before you could walk out, it tightened its grip and pulled on your leg, making you fall over.
As you felt yourself get closer and closer to the monster, you struggled, and screamed attempting to not become his meal. "Aw babe don't look so blue, you'll be joining Zim and Gaz in here too!" Unfortunately, you had no idea what it was taking about, and you didn't have time to process it as it brought you in and it immediately started to chomp on you. The feeling was dreadful, as his teeth clamped into your skin, feeling scratch marks everywhere. You never expected your death to be as outlandish as getting eaten by a giant carnivorous plant, but here you were. That didn't stop your screams though, and as luck would have it, Dib came in just in time to break you free. "GET OFF OF HER." He yelled yanking you out the best he could. Dib had finally pulled you out, and quickly carried you to the backyard before the plant could do anything else.
"You gonna be ok?" He asked as his voice was laced with concern. "Yes..no..maybe.." you answered feeling yourself become weaker and weaker. "Y/N please don't die please, please." Dib said panicking whilst applying pressure to some wounds to prevent access bleeding. It was pretty useless though as you lost a lot of blood. "You know... the plant said the strangest thing. They said, Zim and Gaz were already in there?" Dibs breath hitched a little. "It's right...Y/N I did terrible and nasty things, but never to you. Never to you." You mustered out a smile until you felt a sharp pain in your insides and then slowly faded out of consciousness. It didn't take very long for Dib to realize you were dead. He felt that painful feeling of wanting to cry, but having nothing come out. Just anger, sadness and mass regret. He would regret even more so on what he was about to do. He had to tell your parents. Though the guilt could be avoided if he fed you to the plant, and claimed you were missing. No. That would make him an absolute monster. He thought maybe though, if this thing was fully grown, this could be it's last meal. And then he wouldn't have to kill more innocent people.
As much as he despised him, he wished Zim was here. He would have had some solution, and could have saved you. And Gaz didn't have to be gone ether. She would have snapped him to his senses. He realized what success had brought him. Loneliness. Crippling loneliness, and dirty hands. He finally did the right thing however and called 911, and went off to tell your parents about the horrible accident. To his surprise, he found his father at the door step talking to your mother. For the first time he saw something with his father he never saw before. Concern. And he was actually there too. In the flesh. Not busy in his stuffy old lab, not on a computer, there.
"You, haven't happened to know what happened to my daughter do you?" He asked. Mrs L/N shook her head sadly. "No, I haven't...Is Gaz missing??" She asked worriedly. "I'm afraid she's gone." Mrs. Y/N's eyes widened. "How can you tell??" Professor Membrane then explained the evidence near the plant, and concluded it from there. Though he wanted to make sure she hadn't gone missing. Then the phone rang from the inside. Dib's blood went cold. He know exactly what that call was. "Yes, this is (Mom's name) L/N...silence followed, and then a sharp sobbing noise. Your father then said goodbyes quickly to Professor Membrane and shut the door to comfort your mother. He could still hear her loud cries, and he decided to just leave. Until he felt a hand on his shoulder. He flinched but found it was his father. "Let's go home son." He simply said, and walked back with Dib following.
Hours later, there was a knock on the door. As Dib opened it, he was surprised to see a man with a hat and a briefcase. Dib was arguably not at all fit to be at the door on such an occasion as he took off his trademark lab coat earlier and had pizza staines on his shirt. "Look whatever it is you want I'm not interested." He said about to close the door until the man heaved with all his might to keep the door open. "Now Mr. Membrane! Be Reasonable!" He said struggling to keep the door open. Dib finally gave in and stopped pushing. The man stopped too, and cleared his throat, and took off his hat. "It's a pleasure to meet you sir. My name is Chad, and I'm here concerning a business proposal." Dib remained silent. Chad then revealed the item he had with him, which was a baby sprout of Y/N 2. Wonderful isn't it? My boys managed to get a few cuttings and voila! New Y/N 2s. Think about it. Y/N 2s all around America! It'll be bigger than Hoola Hoops boy!"
Dib looked down at the plant with weary eyes and saw something that shook him to his core. The plant smirked. As if to mock him of his incompetence. "No. No-I DON'T WANT IT! GO! LEAVE!" Dib exclaimed getting up and leaving to the garage. "Whatever you choose it won't matter!! I got top lawyers you hear??!!" Chad yelled out putting his hat back on his head and leaving. Dib slammed open the door, and disregarded the damage he did to the wall. "EVERY HOUSEHOLD IN AMERICA! THAT'S WHAT YOU HAD IN MIND ALL ALONG!!" The plant turned it's a attention to Dib and scoffed. "No shit Sherlock." Dib immediately became absolutely fumed. "Y-YOU, YOU KILLED MY SISTER! MY RIVAL! MY ONLY FRIEND!" He yelled grabbing an axe and rat poison. "On the contrary, you killed them. You let fame and fortune get to your head and you sacrificed everything you loved to achieve it. Did you enjoy this little game Dib?" Anger had gotten the best of Dib as he charged and tried to hit the plant, but it was quick as it whacked Dib right back causing one of his lenses to crack. The only other option he had was his rat poison, but knowing the plant it wouldn't swallow it. This plan had to be smart. He then climbed into the plant the best he could holding its mouth wide open to put the poison down his throat. This worked, but Dib didn't quite realize the consequences after as the plant then chomped down, claiming him as his meal.
As if almost carelessly, the plant regurgitated his glasses, leaving that to be the only thing of him left ever.
