"Basically what you are telling me is you fainted after seeing Sungchan get shot? The footage didn't capture Sungchan but only you?"

"It seems to be like that" He replied shortly. Renjun seriously didn't know what else to say when Jaemin brought him to the meeting room and all eyes were on him. He was tired of crying and all he wanted to do now was to sleep.

"I see, if that's the case I have to tell Taeyong– Hey, don't worry. I'm sure Taeyong will understand it okay? I will explain to him" Mark assured Renjun when he saw the latter's facial expression change when mentioning Taeyong's name. Renjun nodded his head slowly, thrusting with his words. "Are you feeling okay now?"

Renjun could feel the concerning tone coming from Mark, He flashed him his soft smile and said "Yes. I'm okay hyung"

"Good and Jaehyun called me earlier, he said he wants to see you today. Is that okay with you?"

"Yeah sure, I will just go get ready now" Renjun replied, standing up from his seat to walk to his room, leaving Mark and Jaemin.

"I don't think he's still okay Jaemin, can you accompany him to the hospital?"

"Of course Mark, he's my boyfriend after all"

"You sure you don't want to go up with me? I don't want to make you wait for me" Renjun pouted. Jaemin can't help but smile looking at how cute his boyfriend was.

"I'm okay baby! I can wait here okay?" Jaemin pecked on Renjun's cheek before waving goodbye to him. Renjun smiled, waving his hand to Jaemin before going up to meet Jaehyun.

He knocked on the door till he heard the director's voice and it was his clue to get in. "Hello director Jeong, you're looking for me?"

"Ah! Yes Renjun, please have a seat" Renjun took a seat on the couch and waited for whatever the director was about to say.

"Renjun, apparently I need you to come back to the hospital. We are lacking an intern in the hospital right now since there were about 3 interns who decided to quit for some reason. At least it's a reasonable excuse so can you do that?"

Renjun stared blankly at the director, trying to process what he just heard. Does he want to come back to the hospital? Yes. But what about Jaemin and Jeno?

Jaehyun saw how Renjun reacted to the news that wasn't his liking but that was the only option for the meantime before they accepted the new intern in about 5 months from now.

"Okay. I will come back" He shortly replied and earned a wide grin from the director.

"Good! So I'm expecting to see you this Friday." Oh, that was 2 days from now. Renjun nodded slowly and smiled. "I will let Mark know about this so you can pack off your stuff"

On the ride back to the mansion, Renjun was very quiet and Jaemin felt odd about it. "You good baby?"

"hmm? oh! yeah I'm good. Just tired" Renjun didn't lie. He was tired but he didn't have the guts to say anything yet. "I'm going to have a quick nap okay? wake me up please once we arrive"

"I can just carry you to the bed junnie so no need to worry about that okay?" Jaemin giggled

"Okay," Renjun said with a smile and slowly lowered his seat to the back and closed his eyes to sleep.

And Jaemin did carry him to the bed after he woke up from his nap, finding himself with a pair of arms around his waist. He looked up to see Jaemin was sleeping too, he guessed. He caressed Jaemin's cheeks gently and admired how beautiful his boyfriend was. "I love you" Renjun whispered, thinking Jaemin might not hear it but it was another way round.

"I love you too, Renjunnie. '' He softly replied, eyes still closing, and tightened his grip on Renjun's waist.

"I have something to tell both of you"

"Okay"

"Where's Jeno anyway?" He asked.

"I'm here! What's up? you miss me?" Jeno smirked before jumping on the bed, back hugging Renjun.

"You know I always miss my boyfriends! anyway, that's not the topic.. so the thing is I need to go back to my hospital. Director Jeong is calling me back so I need to leave this place in 2 days" He said, looking at the two for some reactions but none of them have it. "P-Please say something"

"That's...quite surprising but after all, I guess it's better for you just to go back to the hospital" Jaemin replied, making the smaller frown.

"You don't like having me here?"

"What?! No! That's not what I mean Junnie. I would rather have you treat those patients that need help. I bet there's a lot of people getting hurt so you as a doctor need to be there for them" Jaemin explained but Renjun didn't really like the answer that came out from the latter.

"B-But you two– what if you get hurt?" Renjun asked in concern, staring at Jeno now.

"We have Mark for a reason Renjun" Jeno softly smiled as he snuggled closer to Renjun.

"Wasn't I here to help Mark?"

"Do we have any other choice Renjun? I bet your director won't accept it if you say no cause you're originally an intern from there. Don't worry about us, If we get hurt, I'm sure gonna tell Mark or the members can call you"

"Hm okay, I love you two"

"I love you too sweetheart" Jeno kissed Renjun on the cheek, doing the same to Jaemin.
