Next Day:
Mahira's POV:

It was CSK vs PBKS tonight. And I am sitting in my cabin completing the leftover work. I am trying to complete it as soon as possible so that I can rush to CSK's dressing room and meet everyone. I have even brought something for a certain someone.😉😉
(Can you guess who this person is without reading further?)

Within the next 15 minutes I was over with my work and I straight away headed to CSK's dressing room with my backpack. Since toss has already happened no one was there in the inside rooms, every players were there in the glass room, where they all usually are when the match is going on.

I went inside and Riva bhabhi was there.
"Hello mahira!", She came over to me and hugged me, I hugged her back.

"How are you?",She asked me with a huge smile.

"As good as I was previously. You?"

"Me too. You're gonna sit with us?", She asked me, even though backed away from the hug, she was still holding my hand.
I showed her the yellow band that she put on my hand in the last match and said yes.

"Yayy! We'll have fun. Mujhe laga main akele ho jaungi. Sheetal and Archana are also not here", She said with a small frown.

"Koi na. I'm here to give you company.", I said and she pulled my cheeks.

"Bhabhi where is Nidhyana?", I asked her, I wanted to meet my cute Angel.

"She is inside. Watching something on my phone. Let's go to her.", She said and we both went to her.

"Nidh, look who's here.", Bhabi said and nidhyana looked at me.

"Hi Mahira.", She said and waved me from her seat.

"How are you nidhyana.", I went and sat beside her.

"I'm fine.", She said and shook her head left to right.

"Do you remember who I am?", I asked her, she did remember my name. But still.

"Yes, you are mahira. You came to meet me here only and you saw my butterfly.", She said with a grin.

"Yes. So today I have brought something for you.", I said to her and her eyes lit up in excitement, she kept her phone and jumped up.

"What?", She asked with wide happy eyes.

"Do you like chocolates baby?", I asked her and she smiled even widely.

"Omg yes, I love chocolates." She said and started jumping.

"I have baked some chocolate cupcakes for you.", I said to her and she kept her hands on her mouth in excitement and came to me and hugged me.

"Thankyou.", My heart melted at that pure creature.

I took out those cookies and gave them to her. She was very happy. My sweetheart. She was the someone special I was talking about. What did you all think?

"Thanks mahira!", Riva bhabhi said and ruffled my hair.

"Mumma, I'll go out to see the match.", Nidhyana said and bhabhi looked at her with a surprised look.

"I have a friend now. I'll play and sit with her. Can I take my cupcakes too?", She asked bhabhi and bhabhi nodded. I took her in my arms and the three of us went out together.
  
Punjab batted first, and man, they played like how I wanted them to play. Jaddu bhai was doing exceptional fielding and me and riva bhabhi were clapping and jumping like kids. Nidhyana doesn't understand the game but she understood that hee father is doing something and even she was jumping. The way deepak was bowling was commendable. He took 4 wickets in the powerplay itself. They didn't even give the chance to anyone to settle and play, wickets were going down consequently and with that they finished at 106/8. Lol. 8 wickets down.

When second innings started, we lost Rutu early but we had to chase a small target and faf played brilliantly alongside moeen. We easily chased the target in 15 overs and won the match. I was personally beyond delighted as it was the first time CSK won with me watching it from the stands. After the win I excused myself for a few minutes and went back to out pavilion to pack up with the work and pack my stuff. I had brought my own vehicle today as well.

I straight away went to the dressing room after completing my work. Everyone was there already.

"Hello!", I squealed when I entered the room and everyone looked at me with happy glances.

"Heyy!", Deepak was the first one who came and hugged me followed by Sonu bhai and Jaddu bhai.

"Bhai you were magical tonight. Jahan ball wahan aap.", I said to jaddu bhai and he grinned. And he gave me s proud smile.

"Papa you know she brought me cupcakes.", Nidhyana came and told bhai

"Self baked ones. Which were very tasty", Bhabhi added. And I was being a little shy now. I still don't know how to take compliments. Bhai ruffled my hair in adoration.

"What about us mahira, we are also kids.", Deepak whined from behind.

"Achha. Who is we?", I asked him.

"Me and sam.", He said and sam started laughing.

"Next time for sure. Kids.", I patted Deepak's hair like people do to kids.

"And us?", Shardul came out. He wasn't here previously.

"Hii! Where were you?", I said and we hugged each other.

"Ghar se call aaya tha.", He said with a smile.

"Achha I promise main next time sabke liye leke aaungi.", I looked around and said.

"Han please.", Sonu bhai said.

I was sensing something missing.

"Sonu bhai, where is mahi bhai?", I asked him, I haven't seen him since I cam here.

"He is inside Mahira.", He said with a genuine smile.

"Typical MS. When we lose, he is here with all of us. When we win, he'll just walk away and let us enjoy.", Faf said. And it was indeed true. Never in my life have I seen mahi bhai loose his calm even after winning.

"Can I go and meet him?", I asked them.

"He made a special mention that if you come. He wants to meet you.", Faf said and walked me to mahi bhai's room.

I knocked lightly.
"Coming.", He said from inside. I was getting so excited even when I was meeting him for the 2nd time. He opened the door. And I hugged him directly.

"Mahi bhai.", I couldn't stop myself from saying that.

"Hello bachcha!", He said and hugged me back.

"Kaise ho aap?", I said backing away and he just nodded his head and asked me 'tum?".

"Me too.",

"Come inside.", He asked me to come in and I walked with him.

"Aap yahan akele kya kar rahe ho bhai?", I asked him.

"I was talking to Sakshi, and fir abhi rest kar raha tha. Tumhe zyada tang to nahi kiya na in logon ne?", He said with his calmest self in front.

"Bilkul bhi nahi.", I said. Ofc no one irritates me.

"Enjoying?", He asked me.

"Very much bhai. You know I met and spoke to so many people. Rohit bhai, virat bhai, I even met Samaira and Agastya. They are so adorable. Last night I spent so much time with DC's team. They all were also so good to me.", I told him everything. I wanted to explain more briefly but I didn't.

"Wah. You've just come and already everyone's favourite.", He said and smiled at me.

"I know. Me and virat bhai were discussing how much we miss you during international matches now.", I said frowning a bit.

"It's a part of the game beta. We can't play forever right.", He said in the usual calm msd tone.

"But you're still so fit and fine. You could've played.", I added knowing its all in vain.

"I am playing.", He said and I know the sadness he is hiding behind that smile.

"It wasn't a very easy decision for me you know, but the day I started playing cricket I had promised myself ki jis din I'll feel that someone else is better on my position with the team. I'll back off myself.", He explained in the calmest and sweetest way and I got very emotional hearing him. How can he do literally everything with this grace.

"And what made you think someone is better than you?", My voice broke towards the end.

"We already had a better captain. Cheeku. For wicket keeping we have rishu who is amazing with his bat as well. And as a finisher, Jaddu and Hardik are there.", He said with the same calmness.

"But we don't have an all in one bhai!", I said and I didn't even realise when a drop of tear fell from my eyes.

"Why are you crying bachcha?", He asked me and wrapped an arm around me pulling me close.

"We miss you Mahi Bhai.", I spoke in between tears. He hugged me properly now.

"I am here. Playing for my beloved CSK. We can't always keep on holding with the past right, we have to let go everything eventually. You understand that everyone who is playing now will also leave one day. We can't be sad right mahira. There are always better replacements available. We have such an amazing squad now. And I'm still here for you, my team, and all my fans as well. Just in a different role.", He said rubbing my back and I backed off and looked at him wiping my tears. He was still smiling.

"You are the best!", I said and he gave me a cheeky smile.

"You too!". He said and I became so happy.

"Arey why were you crying?", Shardul came from out of nowhere and sat beside me. Now I was sitting in between them both.

"Tell him.", I said to mahi bhai. And he told her that I said I miss watching him play.

"No comments here. Main bhi rone lagunga abhi.", Shardul said and I laughed finally.

"Don't tell anyone I was crying.", I turned to shardul and told him.

"What? I've already told everyone but.", He said with a smirk.

"Really? Shardul I'll never talk to you again.", I was so mad at him, I turned back towards mahi bhai and he was smiling.

"Apko kyu hasi aa rahi hai?", I asked him.

"Because he hasn't told anyone.", He said.

"How do you know?", I asked.

"I just do.", He said with assurity. I turned to shardul and he pulled my cheeks and said. "I haven't told anyone baba. Chill."

I smacked his arm lightly and both him and mahi bhai giggled.

"She is so adventurous mahi bhai. She has done literally everything from snorkeling in the depth of the ocean to skydiving from heights.", Shardul said and I blushed a bit. Yeah, still don't know how to take compliments.

"I know my sister is very talented.", Mahi bhai smiled at me. How sweet are they

"Mahi bhai, but there is one thing that I might need your help in.", I turned to him, this has been on my bucket list too.

"Visiting army camps.", I asked him with doe eyes.

"Ofcourse. We'll all go together okay. You , me, Sakshi, Ziva.", He said patting my head.

"Bhai main bhi.", Shardul whined like a kid.

"Tu bhi chalna.", Mahi bhai said to him also.

"Han fir kyunki, because you and Sakshi Bhabhi and ziva are a family so she shouldn't feel left out na.", Shardul said and I gave him heart eyes. How sweet of him.

"I'll never let my sister feel left out.", Mahi bhai glared at him and I laughed.

"Like.... If.", Shardul covered for himself.

"Han han, you also come.", I said and his eyes lit up. When I turned to Mahi Bhai he was asking shardul something  with his eyes but as I looked at him he averted his gaze and started looking at me. I didn't ask anything about it because I didn't want to, it can be about anything. Who am I to ask?
