~Your POV~

I was helping around in the factory when the storm was approaching. A storm was coming, a pretty bad one too. I was completing some tasks in the factory when I heard thunder rumbling. Though, in those few moments I could have sworn I saw P03, on the other side of the room jump at the sound of the thunderstorm.

I decided not to ask him about it at that moment, because if he, the Scrybe of Technology flinched at something, it probably was something personal. I continued doing my task as he left the room rather hurriedly. 'I'll ask him about it once we're both done' I told myself,'He should be ready to talk by then.' I wasn't extremely worried until I saw how fast and how bad the storm was getting.

-Timeskip to later that evening-

The storm has gotten worse, and so had P03. He began snapping at someone at any slight misstep. I walked up to him when he stormed off into the bedroom we both shared, "P03?" I said, hoping not to set him off again.

"What do you want?" He asked in a tired tone that seemed out of character for him. "Are you alright? You've been worked up ever since the storm hit." I said, however he oddly didn't say anything back, not even a snarky remark. Then I asked him a question that I knew would set him off but I really didn't have any other option.

"Are you...scared of the thunderstor-" He retorted back before I could finish my sentence, "𝗡𝗢." I blinked in surprise and he sighed, "No, I'm not scared , it's just that-" Lightning flashed outside and he flinched. He slumped back over, avoiding my concerned gaze. "Does," I began, "Does the lightning scare you?" I asked him, bracing myself for another lecture. He didn't say anything at first, but eventually he nodded.

I dreaded where this was going but I asked him," Is it because of what happened with Leshy?" He nodded again and said "Yeah.." quietly and it sounded like he was about to cry. I gently grabbed the sides of his head(?) and had him turn and face me, "Hey now, it's okay. It's okay to be scared." As I said those words, it looked like he had softened, he hugged me as he wrapped an arm around my torso and laid his head on my chest.

I continued reassuring him, "I'm here, and I'm never going to let something like that happen again, let alone to you. I promise." It sounded like he wanted to protest, "I- Yeah...Okay." But he was too tired to say anything. A small while later I could hear soft snoring coming from P03, indicating that he was asleep. I adjusted myself to a position where I was laying down with P03 sleeping on my chest. Both of us had long forgotten about the thunderstorm and rather slept, enjoying each other's company as the storm passed over. I fell asleep shortly after, knowing that my favorite Scrybe is safe.
