"I'll protect you no matter what (Y/N) but....me and Masky have to get back to the Slender Mansion. But, we'll meet again soon," Toby said as he winked. You were heartbroken. 'So I thought I wasn't gonna be alone again 'cause I had these guys but...no.'  But he's not lying, you'll see him again soon so don't worry. And soon is just like, a couple of years. No biggey. 'Couple of years?! Yep, so soon. Greeeaaatt'  You snapped out of your conversation with Zero and realized Toby and Masky were already gone. 'Alone again.'  You lean against a tree and slump down, lifting your knees up and resting your head on them. You cry quietly, hoping that you'll get out of this hell forest soon. Then you dozed off.

~???'s POV~

It was around 9 pm when the orphanage workers went off looking for lost children in the woods. "Why'd we have to come out this late?! It's dark, scary, and I just don't like it!" one of the guys yelled to the other. "Will you shut the hell up? We have to work this shift so cut the crap Alex," the other responded. "You don't need to be so mean Steven..." Alex mumbled holding his flashlight in front of him. "I said shut up! You don't know who or what can be out here!" Steven yelled. Birds crowed and flew off. "Yep not spooky at all Steven," Alex spat. Steven just kept walking and flashing his own flashlight around looking for people. "There..." Steven mumbled as he ran ahead. "W-Wait Steven!" Alex yelled as he tried catching up. They found you, sleeping against a tree. "How should we take her?" Alex asked. "You grab the front I grab the back," Steven said as he started picking your feet up. You mumble something and change positions. Alex just rolled his eyes as he picked you up by your shoulders. "What about that?" Alex asks pointing to the hatchet. "Just...put it in her backpack or something. Now, hurry up. I don't wanna be out here all night," Alex picked the hatchet up by his feet and unzipped your bag stuffing the hatchet in it. The two workers ran with you in their arms, surprisingly not waking up. They reach the orphanage and put you softly down on a bed, tucking you in like a little kid.

~Your POV~
You slowly wake up and realize you're in a bed. 'What happened...?'  Well when you're asleep I'm asleep so I have no idea. 'I wonder how I got here, who brought me here, why am I here, and especially WHERE AM I?'  I'm wondering the same thing (Y/N). You get out of bed and walk to the door and open it to explore. It looks quite old because of the cobwebs, dust, and the walls being made of wood that's falling apart. You shudder at who can live here. As you're walking girls around 6 pass you giggling and chasing each other. 'It can't be an orphanage, can it?'  From what it looks I think it is. Now you live in this crumbling building. Just great. I say the woods were better shelter. 'Whatever. At least we don't have to hunt our own food anymore.'  I guess that's good... You slowly walk down the creaky stairs and see an elder man sitting in a spinney chair. "H-Hello sir?" you ask. "Why hello there, you're new here, aren't you?" the man says as he turns the chair around to face you. "Y-Yes sir I-I'm new. C-Can I ask a couple of q-questions?" you stutter. "Ask away!" he excitedly says back. 'He doesn't seem too bad...'  I still don't trust 'em. "First, what's your name? Where am I? How did I get here? Who brought me here? Why am I here? Can I leave? Will I be able to leave? Do I have to stay here?" "When you said a couple questions, I thought you meant two or three. Well, my name is Count Olaf (hahaha series of unfortunate events reference xD). We are at my orphanage, Olaf's Orphanage for Children. Two of my workers, Alex and Steven, brought you here from the forest. You are here because we wanted to welcome you and let you live in a home unlike that forest. You can leave if you want, but it will not be wise. We advise you to stay. Like I said before, you can leave but it's not recommended. No, you do not have to stay if you don't want. Are you good now? By the way the bed you were in is where you will be staying, along with the 7-10 year-olds. You have to make your own food and wash your own clothes, but we provide ingredients and materials for cooking. Hopefully you'll get used to us and treat us like your family because we are your new family. Good day," Ct. Olaf says as he gets back to his work. 'So I can leave, but I don't think I should'  You should take advantage of the food and crap so stay for a while then we can leave...or kill them... 'I'm not letting what happened in the Underground happen up here!'  Fine, jeez... You sigh and go back to the room you were in before and lay down on the bed. 'Ugh, what to do? I'm bored,'  Aren't we all? You sit up and realize you don't hear kids giggling anymore. 'Why is everyone silent?'  Maybe because of you? 'Maybe...'  You get off the bed and wander around looking for the bathroom 'cause you gotta go. You finally find a bathroom but kids are cleaning in it, bored out of their hell minds. "Hi..." one mutters. "Is this your chores everyday?" you ask politely. "Oh, we don't get anything out of this," another says. "We are forced too, and you will too. I think you should run while you can," one kid states. 'They're forced to do work? But they're like, 7?!'  "Hm, talking to the new girl slaves? You know you're not supposed to do talk during work hours..." Count Olaf says deeply from behind you. "We're sorry master..." they say in unison. You try to push your way out of the small bathroom door but he says with a smirk, "Where are you going? Your my new slave now too, you know, because I haven't seen you getting ready to leave my orphanage." "U-Uh..." you manage to stutter out. He hands you a bottle of Windex cleaner and a dirty rag. "Wash the windows. NOW!" he screams. You scurry over to the window and start cleaning it. "You should've left sooner new girl..." a little girl says to you. Wait, you don't have to follow his rules, do you? You didn't sign a contract or anything saying "ADOPTION PAPERS" on it. You drop the cleaning supplies and let the cleaner spill. You walk out of the disgusting bathroom with your chest puffed out and your head held high. "I am not working for you," you state as you come across Count Olaf.
