You lay there in bed, thinking nonsensical things. Lara's alive? Toby saved her? That 'thing' in front didn't actually kill her? You get lost in your thoughts that you didn't even realize Barbara had walked in. She sat on your bed next to you and waited for you to notice her. You lifted your head slowly up to meet her gaze. She stared at you and finally spoke up, "(Y/N)...I know you want Lara to be alive...we all do...but she isn't...the police even found some remains of someone/something small, child-like. It had to be Lara. You know you can't weep all day...you have to get over it. I know you love Lara but she's gone. We'll be holding her funeral in a couple weeks. You can also stay home from school if you'd like." You stared at her in pure hatred. She didn't care about Lara dying; it's just one less child to take care of! Tears were on the brim of your eyes. You lifted your hand and smacked her right across the face, hard. I mean hard. She stared at you in disbelief, shock, and disgust before stalking her way out if your bedroom. You flopped back down. You know that was pretty stupid of you, right? I know... Well, I doubt you're going to apologize. And yeah, she deserved it, but what if she like disowns you or something? We'll have to live in the wild again. I don't care... You want to set this place on fire? You want them to die? You nodded your head. Zero smirked at you. Good girl. Can I have control? You stayed silent but nodded once again. After the painful transformation Zero went into the garage to find the gasoline. Two containers were in the middle of the room, almost looking like they were intentionally placed there. You worriedly glanced at them when Zero picked them up. Max came into mind; he was upstairs crying or something. Can...can you let Max leave..? I-I don't want him dying too... Fine. "Max! I have something to show you outside! But hurry! It won't be there for long!" Zero called upstairs. Max groggily walked out of his bedroomdoor. His hair was messed up, he wore a grey/gray long sleeved shirt with old stains on it, and some sweatpants. His eyes were puffy and his face red, like he'd been crying. He walked outside through the front door. That's when Zero quickly dumped gasoline throughout the house. She grabbed the backpack that (Y/N) has had the whole time with the axe in it. She slung it over her shoulder and grabbed any important stuff in her room. Sliding down the railing Zero ran to the kitchen, stuffed some knives, water, and food in the bag. She also grabbed the matchbox in a drawer. Dashing outside, she quickly lit the match and threw it onto some gasoline. The whole house lit up in seconds. It burned rapidly, with your step-parents inside. Max stared at you in...disbelief, worry, fright, and more mixed emotions. He ran off to the neighbors to most likely call the police. Zero rolled her eyes and dashed into the forest behind your house. She kept running until her legs gave in. Flashlights could be seen behind you, not too far away too. Zero got up and started running as best as she could again. Then she ran into something--no, someone. You stared in fright. It's...it was the thing in front if the crowd of insane people...the one who saved Lara...
Zero got into a battle stance until police yells could be heard behind them. Everything started going black for the two of you and the "thing" had picked Zero up with it's tentacles and teleported off.
