"Solgaleo! Let's go!" Gladion called to the legendary. The legendary roared in response, flying towards the next floating island.

"Gladion, what are you planning to do with that Z-Ring?" Lillie asked.

"I need it for something." Gladion responded with a cold tone in his voice.

"Grenin!" Gladion turned his head in horror, how would that Greninja still be alive.

"Umbreon, Lycanroc! You distract it!" Gladion growled under his breath. "Of course, as long as the Ultra Beast has control over Ash, the Pokémon won't ever faint."

"Popplio! Use Bubble Beam!"

"Rio? Riolu!" Riolu took the attack, but got back up.

"Steenee, Sweet Scent then Double Slap!"

"Steenee!"

"Yes! We got one down!" Mallow rejoiced.

"Wait, what's happening?" Sophocles asked, pointing towards the once fainted Rowlet.

"W-we defeated Rowlet, didn't we?" Mallow stuttered out, Lana and Sophocles backed into a corner.

"We still have the other two." Lana said.

Kiawe was equally surprised when he saw Lycanroc get back up from fainting.

"Huh? But how?" He was shocked.

"Lillie! We need to hurry, as long as Ash is under the Ultra Beasts control, his Pokémon will keep reviving."

Solgaleo roared and dashed the opposite way to go help the others. Now it was just Lillie and Gladion.

"Lillie wait it's dangerous!" Gladion yelled as his sister ran toward the Ultra Beast.

"I need to tell Ash something." She said as she climbed up the rugged mountains made of crystals.

Gladion looked at Pikachu, he sighed. "If we see anything, we move." Gladion stated,  watching Pikachu nod.

Lillie was standing firm on the ground. "You know what, I hate you!" She yelled, causing the Ultra Beast to stop moving. "You've caused my brother and me so much heartache! Along with Kiawe, Mallow, Lana, Sophocles, and even Pikachu. Open your eyes Ash! They are all fighting for their life out there, do you want them to get hurt?"

Ash was taken back by the harsh words, his eye color going back to the natural brown that he always had.

"Lillie?" Ash called out, trying to break free of the Ultra Beast's grip. Gladion breathed a breath of relief but it didn't stop there. Ash was pulled back in.

"Gladion! Pikachu! Use this!" Ash threw a Z-Crystal in the shape of a Pikachu tail on the ground before going under the Ultra Beast's control.

"Pikapi!" Pikachu yelped, watching his trainer go unconscious again.

Gladion looked at Pikachu as he put the Z-Crystal on his Z-Ring.

"Gladion do it now!" Lillie called.

"Pika!" Pikachu squeaked confidently as he got into battle position.

"Pikachu, you ready?" Gladion asked, Pikachu confirming with a small yelp. "All right, Pikachu. This is much bigger than a thunderbolt, ten million volt thunderbolt!"

"Pi! Pi! Pikachuuuuuuuuu!"

All that was left were the dust clouds that formed from the powerful thunderbolt.

The Ultra Beast lost its energy and had released Ash from its grip.

"Pikapi!"

"Ash!" Lillie and Gladion ran towards the fallen Ultra Beast. Gladion pulled Ash out of what seemed to be a thick pool of poison before he picked up the unconscious boy.

"Ash please wake up!" Lillie cried, crouching next to her brother.

Pikachu had also accompanied Gladion, tears threatening to fall from both trainer and Pokémon. His ears poked up when he heard a small groan coming from the smaller trainer.

"Pika?"

"Nngh, Pikachu, is that you?" Ash spoke softly, he was exhausted. Gladion hugged the boy even harder.

"Don't you ever fucking do something like that again." Gladion said, tears falling down his face. Lillie was surprised to see her brother crying, though they just watched Ash almost die, so she could understand.

"I thought I was going to lose you." Gladion cried, clutching Ash even harder.

"Ash! You're okay!" Gladion wiped his tears as he heard the voices of the others, along with Ash's Pokémon.

Gladion stood up, giving Ash a hand. "Can you stand?" He asked, concern showing in his voice. Lillie could totally see the major crush he had on Ash.

"Y-yeah." Ash stuttered as the pain from the fall strained at his ankle.

"Thanks for everything, Gladion, Lillie. I appreciate it." Ash thanked, turning towards Solgaleo.

"You too Solgaleo!" Ash chirped, Solgaleo roaring in response.

As the group was getting on Solgaleo, Gladion noticed Ash was slowing down, usually he was ahead.

"Ash!"

The group turned in shock to see Gladion rushing to Ash's aid, who looked like he was about to faint.

"Pika!"

Gladion ran to Ash's side, wrapping his arm around Ash's shoulder, hoisting him up on Solgaleo.

"A-Ash, are you okay?" Gladion asked, Mallow and Sophocles snickered as they watched Gladion become a stuttering mess.

Burnet smiled as she saw her computer start to flicker with notifications.

"Let's hope they made it back." Burnet said, Kukui agreed.

The portal opened, giving Kukui and Burnet a sigh of relief. "Here they come!"

Solgaleo roared as it landed. The sight of Ash made Kukui breathe easier.

"Thank god Ash, you're okay!" Burnet cried, hugging the teen as he got off Solgaleo.

"Yeah! Thanks to the those two!" Ash pointed towards Gladion and Lillie.

Gladion watched closely before he saw Ash start to lose his balance.

"Woah there, you might need to go and rest." Gladion said as he caught Ash. Making his classmates snicker slightly.

"Those two are going to fall in love~." Sophocles poked at Lillie's side, jokingly.

The night was full of laughter from Lillie and her classmates as they all headed back to their homes.
