Scaramouche turned towards me, placing his hand on the back of my waist. Pressing his lips on mine.
I grunted, leaning into the kiss. His lips were soft and warm. Something that caught me off guard instantly.
Then Scaramouche quickly pulled away.
"Rate that on a scale of one to ten."
I stood there shocked, unable to properly rate it.
"Stop taking so long and tell me."
I instantly frowned.
"It was a seven."
I rated, sitting down on the couch.
Scaramouche seated himself on the couch as well.
"I am not into you, this isn't going anywhere. I wanted to see if that kiss is enough to pleasure Kazuha."
He explained.
"Pleasure Kazuha?"
I asked, Scaramouche looked at me with an annoyed expression.
"I can explain it to you, not understand it for you."
Scaramouche commented.
"Wait, you want to kiss Kazuha, you kissed me asking for my opinion on your kiss so you could kiss Kazuha??"
I questioned.
He nodded his head at me, "I was testing it out, I have never kissed more than two people before so I kissed you. Judging by your reaction you enjoyed it which means he probably will too."
I swear I saw a small glint of happiness in Scaramouche's eyes.
"Wait, weren't you with Mona as in Mona the famous astrologist?"
I asked, looking down at the menu.
"That wasn't anything, my fans saw us together once and thought we were dating. Don't get me wrong we did do romantic things. Just without the strings."
He explained, looking at the menu as well.
"Get me taboki, you can get whatever you want."
He added, looking at the drink option now.
"I didn't know that. Mind kissing Kazuha in front of me, or get his reaction? I would like to keep that as a sake for winning a challenge."
I asked, Scaramouche scrunched his nose.
"You kissed me, I deserve blackmail."
Scaramouche nodded his head.
"That's fair."
He responded.
"You are fun to hand out with."
I admitted.
"Thank you?"
He said sarcastically.
"If you are chill we can hang out more often. I can sneak you into hangouts with Kazuha."
I saw Scaramouche's ears perk up.
Just then, a waiter knocked on the door.
"Come in."
Scaramouche replied.
The waiter came inside, freezing when he saw Scaramouche.
"This is very unprofessional, can I get a picture?"
The waiter asked.
Scaramouche was in quite a good mood. Immediately accepting and taking a few pictures with the waiter. He even went so far as to post on his social media, promoting this place and the waiter.
"Woah Mr. influencer."
I said sarcastically, bowing.
"I'm at your service."
I added sarcastically.
Scaramouche laughed a bit before digging into the food he had received.
The owner of the small restaurant gave more food and even a couple of coupons to both of us.
"Why are you not dating the red-head?"
Scaramouche asked, I raised a brow.
"What's with this question?"
Scaramouche instantly frowned.
"Mr. Ginger is head over heels for you and you ignore it."
He snapped back, I sipped the virgin martini in hand.
"I don't want to date."
I answered. Scaramouche said his piece, he didn't seem to protest after.
"It's been more than two months, you both knew each other for years. I would have expected something from the world-renowned traveler."
He responded.
"You're right, when the time is right I might date him."
I said, sipping from my martini.
Scaramouche stayed quiet, "I hate that fucking joker, thank you for making him bearable."
I nodded my head.
"You're welcome."
I smiled softly.
Scaramouche picked himself up, slipping the money under the square, beeper thingy.
"Great, let's get the fuck out of here because I can hear people trying to get in here."

Somewhere else
"Hey look at this."
Signora turned the phone to Ajax.
Ajax examined the phone in front of him. He grabbed the phone from Signora, a flood of emotions came over him.
"I caught your little girlfriend making out with someone else. This is quite valuable information."
She said, snatching the phone from his grasp.
Childe stayed quiet, facing the floor. Small little tears fell from his face.
"That's your own dumbass fault. Maybe you should sabotage whatever Scaramouche and Lumine have planned? It would be good revenge."
Signora suggested.
"Shut your mouth."
Childe replied.
"This is why they call you Childe. Because you fucking think like one. Maybe you should give up the act and come to terms that she isn't the one."
She noted.
Signora flaunted her hair, she turned around facing the huge window in front of her. The city lights were bright and easy to see.
"One more month till the fashion show. Hopefully, you make a decision before that day."
She said, strutting out of the room.
