a week have passed after the mini-girls night hangout they had. the five, jimin, yizhuo, yeji, chaeryeong and yuna were now headed to their last subject, which was arts.
they arrived at the building where their teacher, mr. kim told them to go to. entering the elevator, they waited as the door dinged open. they let yuna take the lead as she knows the building more than they do.
they opened a glass door and entered an empty hallway. they approached the receptionist at the right side of the room. yuna and chaeryeong suddenly exclaimed that startled the three.
"JISU!" both said in unison and went behind the counter and hugged jisu.
"oh, hey guys.." jisu stopped mid sentence and just smiled as she averted her gaze towards the two.
"why hello yizhuo and yeji." she smiled brightly showing her eye smile. jisu looked back at jimin and just bowed at her making jimin frown. yizhuo nudged her side and just smiled at her.
"so, what's brings you here?"
"oh, mister kim told us to go here with the rest of the class as he said we are having our class here?" jisu clasped her hands.
"ah! that appointment. follow me." jisu went out of the counter, leading the way, them just followed quietly.
jisu lead them to the far end of the hallway and opened a door. they entered a hallway with a lot of canvas, it was already crowded when they entered, meaning most of the students were already there.
jisu bowed waved goodbye at them and left the room. they went to their places and just in time, junmyeon entered.
"oh, miss shin. grateful for you to be joining our class today." he smiled at her sweetly and yuna returned it.
"yeah, sorry bout last week sir. i got busy with the modeling agency." junmyeon waved his hand as if shooing a fly.
''no need, jeez i understand. but, if they give you a hard time. just tell me, i'm one call away to kick them out of my building." yuna chuckled and thanked him a bow.
"now now. i'm going to explain it to you guys what activity we are having for today. you will be painting something that you've wanted to try. follow your heart and listen. feel on what you are feeling right now. you may start."
so they did. jimin opened a tub of paint and squeezed on her palette. she dabbed the paintbrush on a color and started stroking on the canvas.
••••••
the whole class took them at least 4 hours to dismiss. all of their paintings were really good and pretty. as jimin hung her painting on the wall, the door bursted open revealing the least person she expected to see. she widened her eyes and was about to hide when they met their gazes. she froze, but surprised her more is that minjeong ignored her.
well of course, after what she did. she deserved to be treated that way, including jisu. jimin have always wanted to talk to jisu about her real reasons, but she can't find the will to. stepping forward and back from her decision to whether talk to jisu or not. she's still stuck, sucks right?
her gaze left from minjeong as a tap interrupted her.
"i suggest don't, to whatever you are about to do." yeji appeared on her side and smiled at her.
"but yeji, two years have passed. at least she deserves an explanation?"
"maybe not now." they were then interrupted by the screeching scream of yuna as she excitedly ran up to minjeong and hugged her.
it was only them who were left in the room, as the students went home already.
the door opened again, revealing the others. ryujin, aeri and jisu.
the three joined yuna in hugging minjeong.
"hi jeongjeongie! how are you? gosh, i miss you together with class. how i wish nothing happened and we could still be classmates." yuna signed to her, which obviously left minjeong into a pool of confusion.
the three widened their eyes, but it was too late to stop yuna as minjeong responded.
''us? classmates? have we?" she signed back which yuna looked at her confused too.
"yes! we were, but you suddenly disappeared and stopped coming to school."
"we have met before? we know each other personally?" minjeong bombarded her with questions which made yuna even more confused.
meanwhile, jimin is too. why were they using sign language? and since when did yuna know how to sign? are they playing with her? are they talking behind her back?
well, she was the only one who doesn't know about what happened to minjeong. after hearing yuna's statement while she signed, it left her very confused on what was going on.
"of course, you dummy! we are friends and classmates!" yuna signed again as she speaks. jimin widened her eyes.
'don't tell me...' she thought.
"oh, no miss shin yuna. i don't remember us being classmates, i didn't even go to college. i met and know you through you being our model for the painting." minjeong signed and yuna's face went pale.
"wait what? what does she mean she don't remember? guys?" she spoke and looked at the three, avoiding her gaze. yuna's eyes went back to minjeong.
"so you mean, aside from aeri, ryujin, and jisu, you don't remember these people?" yuna signed and spoke and pointed towards jimin, yeji, yizhuo, and chaeryeong.
when minjeong shook her head, jimin held a gasp as her tears started to well up in her eyes, so did the rest.
"not by remembering, i don't really know these people." yuna sobbed a tear and put a hand on her mouth and backed away from minjeong while shaking her head as she glanced at the three.
"guys, this is a joke, right?" when nobody answered her, she cried.
"how could this be?? please... please tell me this is a joke." yuna sat on the floor as tears continued to flow down her cheeks.
jimin, yizhuo, chaeryeong and yeji also held a sob as their tears were already falling down from their eyes.
they heard junmyeon clear his throat and spoke.
"unfortunately, it is not. allow me to explain."
