Eᴘɪsᴏᴅᴇ 2 ~ Tʜᴇ Dᴇsᴄᴇɴᴛ Iɴᴛᴏ Hᴇʟʟ Isɴ'ᴛ Eᴀsʏ

Jace looks on the screens for any sightings of Jocelyn, Clary and Izzy go to get changed and Alisha stands with Jason and Isaac. The three siblings look around, watching everyone silently. Jason and Isaac both watch with a sad expression.

"You okay?" Their sister asks after she hears Jason sigh.

"Fine." He states, not looking at her.

"I know you, your upset. Now you gonna tell me why your upset or am I going to have to guess?" She says and her older brother shakes his head, looking directly at her. He doesn't need to say anything, Alisha knows why they are both sad and she looks at them sorrowfully. "It's because this could've been your life." She says quietly, Jason and Isaac nod slightly.

"It's not just that." She looks at the younger werewolf, gesturing for him to continue. "We feel like one day you'll have to chose."

"Chose between what?" Alisha asks oblivious but when she sees both her brothers look, she automatically understands. "Chose between being a shadowhunter or werewolf."

"Yeah..." Jason says, watching as his sister looks back at the Shadowhunters. "I know you don't want to chose and I promise I'll try to delay that choice for as long as possible."

"Thank you." She says and he smiles at her.

"Just know no matter what you chose, We'll always be there for you." Isaac adds.

"I love you." Alisha says, leaning into her brothers side. They wrap their arms around her shoulders pulling the all into a group hug.

"I love you too."Jason says calmly. After a while, Alec walks over to the siblings.

"Am I interrupting something?" He asks and the three shake their heads. "Ok then, Izzy said she wanted to see you." He says to Alisha.

"Alight, thanks." She smiles at Alec who mirrors her expression and walks off. "See you later?" She asks her brothers who nod.

"We're sticking by your side." Jason says and Alisha smiles before rushing off to Isabelle's room.

The hybrid walks into Isabelle's room, seeing Clary standing, staring at Izzy's clothes. She clears her throat making the two look up and smile at the girl. She walks towards Izzy who grabs a black jumper and black leather skirt.

"Here, change." She passes the clothes to Alisha who looks down at her plain jeans and maroon crop top. Izzy notices the hesitation and sighs. "You need these, they will suit you. Now go and change." She points to the bathroom and Alisha sighs in defeat.

Alisha walks back out and sees Clary looking down sadly. The girl quickly sits on the bed beside the two Shadowhunters and places her hand on the Fairchild's shoulder.

"A few days ago, all I had to worry about was getting into art school. And now..." Clary looks down sadly.

"Is this the part where I give you the pep talk about harnessing your inner Shadowhunter and accepting your true destiny?" Isabelle asks making the hybrid smirk.

"Was that the pep talk?" Clary asks with a smile and Izzy nods slightly.

"Basically. Clary..." she stands up from the bed and runs her hand through Clary's hair. "Remember, you were born to do this. No matter what has happened... this is who you are."

"Not exactly feeling that." Clary states, also standing up.

"Yet." Izzy adds.

"Clary, your stronger than you think, you've just got to believe that you are, okay?" Alisha adds standing beside Izzy.

"Okay, but now we just have to find Dot." Clary stars, looking between the two in front of her.

"And track down and kill the most dangerous rogue Shadowhunter in history before he kills us all." Isabelle states.

"Seriously?" Alisha asks Izzy who just smiles.

"You really know how to ruin a pep talk, don't you?" Clary adds and Alisha nods agreeing.

"Come on, let's go." Izzy begins to walk out after Alisha but she stops and turns to face Clary. "Oh, and Simon is kind of nerd-hot." She smiles and links her arms with Alisha, going to find Jace.

Alisha and Izzy stand beside the weapons rack, listening to Simon and Clary talking quietly. Izzy looks at the hybrid who concentrates on the other twos voices.

"Let's get out of here, just you and me. We can get Dot ourselves." Simon whispers to Clary who sighs.

"Simon, there are demons out there, okay? Actual demons with tentacles that wanna murder us. Do you know how to kill a demon?" She asks her friend who shrugs.

"I'm an internet search away." He states smartly making the hybrid and shadowhunter roll their eyes.

"Simon, I really don't think it's that simple." Clary says and Simon moves his head slightly.

"I bet you it's not that hard." Simon states and Izzy pushes a button and a shelf with weapons appears. Alisha smiles seeing all the shadowhunter weapons.

"Whoa." Clary gasps just  as Jace walks in.

"No, Izzy." He hits Izzy's hand when she's about to touch one of the swords. Jason and Isaac follow in after Jace, standing with their sister. The two werewolves always stand by their sister, not trusting all the shadowhunters.

"Fifty bucks says he doesn't approve this mission." Isabelle states referring to her brother. Alisha smirks, knowing that he won't even after the short time she's know him.

"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." Alisha mutters and he brother smiles just as Alec appears.

"I don't approve of this mission." Izzy and Alisha smirk at each other and Alec continues. "I spoke with the Clave. They're sending Seelie scouts to search for Valentine, but they made it clear, the little girl and Alisha and her brothers do not leave the premises."

"Hey, my name is not 'little girl', okay? I don't care what that Clave thing or you want, I'm going to find Dot." Clary states.

"Yeah and I don't really listen to people." Alisha adds and Isaac nods.

"This is true." He adds and Alisha rolls her eyes.

"Alec, this warlock could have the answers we need. With Valentine's people out there searching for Clary, she's not safe outside alone." Jace tries to convince his parabatai but he just shakes his head.

"Jace has a point." Izzy speaks up making the blonde smirk in victory.

"Et tu, Izzy?" Alec turns to Clary. "All right, since you have all the answers, where do you suggest we search?"

"We should start at Dot's apartment in Greenpoint, and there's this thrift store that she..." Clary touches her mother's necklace and gasps loudly making everyone look at her.

"Hey." Alisha says, touching the girls arm. She jolts at her touch and looks at everyone in the room.

"What's wrong? What is it?" Jace questions.

"I, um... Weirdly, I think I know where Dot is." Clary stutters making everyone simultaneously raise an eyebrow.

"Great. I'll drive." Everyone looks at Simon. "What? Unless you have, like, a Shadowhunter-mobile or something." Izzy laughs slightly and Simon looks down. "You were kidding about the runes on the floor killing me... right?" Jace looks at Alec, who smiles. Alisha smirks at the mundane, beginning to walk out.

"Possibly." Jace says with a smirk.

"Wait... am I gonna die?" He asks no one in particular. When no one answers him he rushes out of the institute and towards his van. Clary and Simon get in the front and the rest get in the back. Izzy, Alec and Jace sit beside each other on one side, their backs leaning on the two seats Clary and Simon are sitting on. Alisha sits between Jason and Isaac, sitting opposite  the experienced Shadowhunters. Alisha leans her head on Isaac's shoulder, obviously tired, and he rests his head on top of hers. She places her feet on Jason's thighs, lying across them.

Simon follows Clary's directions and they end up stopping near the club Pandemonium. The group jump out of the van and begin to walk down a street leading to the club. Alisha, Isaac and Jason stick together like glue, wanting to protect each other no matter what. Suddenly, Clary shouts out after touching her necklace.

"Dot! Dot!" She breaks out into a run and they rush into Pandemonium. Jace quickly runs after her and grabs her wrist, stopping her from moving.

"Clary! Clary, stop! Where are you going?" He asks the new shadowhunter. Clary looks around panting as the others catch up with them.

"Two men, Circle members... the same ones who came to my house, who took my mom. They have Dot. They're gonna hurt her or kill her. We have to stop them!" She shouts and runs further into the club, the rest following close behind. "No. She was just trying to help me." Clary states sadly and stops running. She touches the necklace but doesn't feel Dot anymore. "Now, she's gone." Simon touches Clary's shoulder and looks at her sadly.

"Clary, I'm sorry." He apologises but Clary shakes her head.

"You don't understand. Dot's like my big sister." She says and Alisha looks around, sensing that the warlocks were here. She looks at Jason who nods, telling her he senses it too. Isaac stands beside Simon and Clary.

"It's not safe here. We have to go back to the Institute right now." Alec states and Alisha nods.

"Alec's right." She states and Clary glares at the two.

"So, what now? Valentine has my mom and Dot, and we're just gonna give up? What about my memories? They can't just be gone?" Clary questions quickly and Alisha sighs.

"There's another option." Jace states making everyone look at him.

"Don't even—"
"Absolutely not."
"No, defiantly no." Izzy, Alec and Alisha deny making Clary, Simon, Isaac and Jason look at them weirdly.

"I'm not afraid of the Silent Brothers." Jace says confidently.

"That makes one of us." Alisha shudders and her brothers understand what's going on.

"Who are the Silent Brothers?" Clary asks, not understanding what they're talking about.

"They're Shadowhunters with superior powers." Jace tells her.

"Who possess the ability to recover memories." Izzy adds.

"They aren't like us, they talk through minds, it freaks me out." Alisha states and Izzy nods agreeing.

"A process that can also kill you, so there's that." Alec states shrugging.

"Your bedside manner is abysmal." Simon comments and everyone looks at him unamused.

Alec ignored the mundane and turns to Jace. "We've broken at least 18 Clave rules and now you want to go to the City of Bones? There's no way. I won't allow it."

"This isn't our choice to make. This is Clary's decision." He turns to Clary who looks up.

"You can't ask her to do this. She doesn't know what she's facing. She's not prepared." Izzy says.

"It isn't fair, she doesn't know what it's like." Alisha comments.

"If anyone can tell me another way to recover my memories and still get the answers we need, I'm listening." Everyone stays silent. "That settles it."

"See? I told you she's one of us." Jace smiles and everyone walks out. Alisha stands by her brothers and Alec, feeling safe around them all. Izzy takes Simons arm before they leave and quickly follow everyone out to the van. They all sit in the same seats as before but Alisha stares out of the window, not interested in Jace and Alec's arguing.
