Danny

I bumped into a beautiful girl. I just didn't saw her until now. I looked at her friend who was going ballistic. I knew I heard Breakeven singing somewhere, I wasn't aware I followed the sound of my own songs. Boy this girl blew my mind away. She had dark brown hair and her figure was not that extremely thin like those models are, but perfectly shaped. I didn't knew what to say to her. I was speechless. She smiled at me with her beautiful smile and stumbled a 'hello' to me. It was so cute. She was obviously Irish. I stumbled an 'hello' back. She asked me very shy if she could takea photo with me and I said yes of course. I was too much of a shy guy to ask her out right here. But boy I wanted to get to know her.

She looked back one more time when she and her friend were laughing on their way back home. I was debating if I should ask her number. When I finally made my decision to ask her number she was gone. Classic Danny, very classic.

'What are you doing here Danny', Mark asked while he was coming back from getting something to drink. 'I spotted two girls singing Breakeven, one of them had a beautiful voice, I took a picture with her, and she looked back at me like she was saying she is going to see me again some day', I said. 'Danny you are one hopeless romantic', Mark said. 'Where is Glen?', I asked. 'There he is', Mark said grinning as Glen walked towards us. 'What happened to you?', Glen asked while looking at my face. 'He met a girl, did you asked her number, of course not', Mark said. He sighted. 'Do you at least know her name?', Glen asked. 'No', I said. 'Hopeless, really hopeless', Glen said and he was shaking his head.

Kay

'I just can't believe we met the guy already, do you think Mark and Glen are with him?', Leilah asked. 'He looked alone', I said. 'You are right, but then again, he was nothing like I expected him to be, he was humble and shy, I knew he was nice to his fans and all, but I never thought that he was like this', I said while we were opening the door to Leilah's house. 'What's going on?', my mother said. 'We've met Danny O'Donoghue, well she bumped into him', Leilah said. 'What, no way, it's like faith Kay, tomorrow he is going to recognize you for sure', my mum said smiling. 'There are a lot of girls mum', I said. 'One Kay', my mum said. I smiled.

The next morning I woke up early. Not being able to sleep anymore I went for a walk in London. It was all quiet since it was this early. As you can call London quiet. No more party people. It was 5 in the morning. The first people went to work. Traffic was already slowing down. I went to the spot were I met Danny the other night. Hoping on seeing him again before the show was of course just a thought. But when I got there I saw someone standing there. I squeezed with my eyes to make sure I wasn't dreaming. It was Danny O'Donoghue for sure.

'You are here early?', Danny said. He smiled at me. 'I can say the same about you, I couldn't sleep, what's your excuse?', I asked. 'Couldn't sleep either', Danny confessed. 'Do I see you again?', Danny asked. 'Maybe', I said with a smile. I wouldn't spoil it. 'What does that mean', Danny asked. 'Maybe', I said. 'Can I at least know your name?', Danny asked. 'It's Kay', I said with a smile. 'Just Kay, is that short for something?', Danny asked. 'No, it's just Kay', I said with a smile.

I left him guessing why we would meet again and went back home before the others started to worry. I woke up Leilah. 'Guess what just happened', I said smiling. 'W... whazzup what happened then?', Leilah said yawning. 'Danny was waiting for me on the corner were we met last night, turns out we both couldn't sleep, he knows my name now and knows we might meet again', I said. 'What, you didn't asked for his number, crazy pants, he actually waited for you at, what time is it?', Leilah asked. 'It was five in the morning when I went for a walk', I said. 'Five in the bloody morning, man he must have a crush on you', Leilah said. She was awake and well when we were earting breakfast. I didn't told my mum what happened. I wanted to keep this as small as possible.

We went to the BBC studio's were we met Marvin who interviewed us. 'Is there one coach who you want to be your coach', Marvin asked me. 'Yes actually there is, I am a massive fan from The Script, so my dream would come true if Danny would turn for me', I said.

'So team Danny for Kay, let's see if it's going to work, good luck and I hope you get in', Marvin said. 'Me to', I said.

I stood backstage, ready with my guitar. The one before me wasn't going trough the next round and the pressure was on. I was feeling nervous to perform in front of 4 superstar coaches. In front of Danny who I happend to just met. I stepped on stage after they gave me a sign.

I began to play the guitar and then my first note from For The First Time. With that first note Danny was turning around so fast. I couldn't see his face since I was busy playing the guitar and focusing on my singing. Then Tom turned. Will turned as well. Only JessieJ didn't turned at the end of the song. When I finished the song I get to look at the coaches, especially Danny who was stunned. Like I striked him with lightning or something.

'I know you', he said with a smile. 'You know her?', Will asked. 'Hmmm, I've met you last night, Kay right?', Danny asked. I nodded in a shy kind a way. 'Oh Danny are you flirting again?', Jessie asked. The audience laughed and so was I. 'I thought you were flawless and thank you for singing my song, if it isn't obvious I really want you on team Danny', Danny said. I smiled at him and he smiled back. 'So you know Danny already right, the obvious choice would be Danny, but the smart choice would be me, since I think you are super mega dope', Will said with a smile. 'Will she wants to be on Danny's team, duh', Jessie said. I giggled and Danny laughed.

'It's up to you now, you are a great singer, I can give you all my experiance of the years', Tom said with a smile. 'Listen to your heart girl, I feel like an idiot for not turning', Jessie said. 'It's okay, I love you anyway Jessie', I said with a smile. 'Aaaw thank you', Jessie said.

'So I am really grateful for all the turns I got, but I am going to make the obvious choice Will, I'm sorry, I knew this from the start, I want to be on team Danny', I said with a smile. Danny jumped off his chair and hugged me tight. 'Girl that is what you meant with your statement 'we might meet again', Danny whispered in my ear. I nodded. 'Can I see you after the show, come to my dressing room', Danny whispered. I nodded.

'So you know this girl already, how may I ask?', Jessie asked while we were back in our chairs. 'For me to know and for you to.... well you know', I said with a smile. 'Danny O'Donoghue is dating contestent on The Voice UK, I like the headlines', Will said. 'Ow come on Will, I've met her last night', I defended myself. 'Who knows what can happen in one night', Tom sang. 'Jeez thanks a lot', I said but I laughed.
