In Main, the quadrangle was already filled with people lined-up for lunch. I saw my campers on the left side of the stage waiting for the food. I immediately ran through, covering my face so they wouldn't see me.

Once I retrieved the food, I gave it to them like nothing happened. I familiarized their names while I handed them the styrofoam lunchboxes one by one. Michelle was their elected leader, AJ, Christine, Jeffrey, Ellen, and others I can't remember. Then once I gave all the lunch boxes, I took a bath in the school restrooms which was empty because I was probably the last one to take a bath.

After lunch, Ate Nicole commenced the Amazing Race and all the teams were to be unsupervised meaning they'll take the challenges on their own. There were twenty stations, which each planetarian prepared, that they have to accomplish until the end of the camp. Here, they were shuffled in where they would start. Once they finished their first challenge, they move on to the next, and the planetarian in charge would give them their score and sign their paper. Whichever planet gets the most points wins.

The story of the camp was that all the dwellers from all different planets compete to claim Earth. It would be, figuratively, unfair for our planet because Pluto is farthest from Earth. The race commenced and the whole school was in mayhem like a carnival but people were in a hurry.

The challenge in our station was pretty simple. They just have to impale six pencils through a plastic bag without spilling all the water. So all of the planets easily get passed it and got a perfect score. When all the teams get passed us, I had the chance to go to each station and watch the dwellers play.

Since I was from Pluto the nearest planet to me was Neptune and Uranus, Arvin and Van's planets. Their senior planetarians were Kuya, Roy, and Damien who were best friends too so they collaborated to have two separate teams play galactic tug of war. (It's the same as the regular one).

Then I went to Saturn, Ate Nicole and Mix's planet, they were conducting a quiz bee about astronomy. I heard one question that said "How many moons does Saturn have?" or "What is the brightest planet in the solar system," which were kind of tricky.

Next was Jupiter, a tanned skin and buff boy, like a lifeguard, was wearing a cap that has a spaceship on its front. He was Blinkey's senior planetarian, Kuya Kevin. Their challenge was a sack race, it was fun to see the dwellers hopping with their legs inside a sack.

I moved on to another booth, Venus, Avi's. I wave a hand to her when I passed by. Their leader was a short and nice-looking young man, with big front teeth, Kuya Casper. I saw him chatting with Ate Jasmine, a smart-looking teenage girl, with hair the color of brass. Marcus was next to her glowering at Kuya Casper and all around them there were dwellers bent down and turning each other. The goal was to flick the cap of a bottle with one eye covered.

What I liked most about the games was we became resourceful. We used very cheap materials like paper cups, yarns, bottles, and cards to make challenges. The race continued until the stations closed for tomorrow to continue again. As it was preparation for the camp dance. It's kind of a bummer that I didn't get to participate in the games. But at least for this next one, everyone can join.

One of the benefits of being a facilitator was we're able to sneak out of school. I went to my house to take a bath with Mix, Arvin, Van, and Jerome. We brought our clothes and our own toiletries except for Arvin who asked if he could borrow soap.

Van went in first. He was in there for a long time moisturizing his skin, then Arvin, Jerome next.

Arvin and Van went to the living room to wait after Jerome got out of the bathroom. I made sure I'm last so I won't have to change my clothes in front of them and I don't really stay in the bathroom for too long.

Mix took off his shirt and revealed his scrawny chest and ribs like an accordion under his skin. He's super slim but there's a considerable bulk of muscles on his arms and shoulders. Instinctively I turned my head, but not so fast as to let him notice I was looking away.

"Can you get me my towel?"

"Where?"

"You're sitting on it."

I pursed my lips and thought of throwing it at him. But when I looked down, pulled the towel underneath me and aimed to throw it, he was already there right in front of me.

Maybe he knew what I was going to do. I held my breath as he leaned over, eye to eye with me, and cuffed his hand to my wrist.

"Thanks," he smiled mischievously and walked to the bathroom, slinging the towel over his bare shoulder.

I was flustered to the bone. All I kept thinking was to get something back at him while I sat there.

When all of us were done, wearing our semi-formal outfits, we left the house.

Arvin was wearing blue long sleeves and faded jeans. Van wore a tuxedo, slacks, and black shoes. Jerome looked funny with his red polo buttoned up to his neck. While I wore a white

I patted down my steel brush hair as I looked in the mirror. From behind me, Mix said, "You look handsome."

"No, I'm not," I replied.

I could smell his cool water cologne and the wax on his hair. He was wearing a striped polo shirt and pants that were too short and fit for him plus rubber shoes. His hair that was always falling to his eyes covered his forehead. His scar smiled at me too, and I rolled my eyes, and said, "You look handsome too.

We took our leisure time until six pm, then we raced back to school, with a bit of edginess.

"I'm going to check on Avi," I said to Mix when we were at the gate.

He made no response. He didn't even look at me when I said it. After doing something like that to me, flattering me then next second he would act as if I don't exist. Him being cold, then fine, if that's how he wants it, I thought. But I could simply put it as him being jealous.

So again, I should have known.
