mihawk stares at him in curiosity 

mihawk: "you can already tell the difference in our abilities right?, so why challenge me?"

zoro: "my ambition and goals drive me to beat you i need to become the best swordsman... for her..."

mihawk: "oh? and who is it you are referring to?"

zoro: "that doesn't matter right now... FIGHT ME MIHAWK!"

mihawk: "very well..."

mihawk grabbed his cross necklace and pulled out a knife from it

mihawk: "sorry i didn't have a smaller knife"

zoro: "HOW DARE YOU"

mihawk was about to slash zoro but fluffy caught the sword in his hand which was now obsidian black

zoro: "l-luffy?!"

mihawk: "what is the meaning of this?"

luffy: "look i get the swordsman respect stuff but i won't allow you to bring harm to my crew!"

zoro fell on his butt in shock

nami: "wh-what's he doing?!"

buggy: "he's gonna get himself killed!"

usopp: "LUFFY NOOO!"

luffy: "if you wanna fight someone"

he points at himself

luffy: "FIGHT ME!"

everyone looked at luffy as if he was a mad man

mihawk smirked

mihawk: "very well, i could sense your immense power anyway so i wanted a fight with you"

the fight began!

mihawk rushed at luffy who stood still despite the desperate pleas of his allies and others pleading him to move

just as mihawk swung luffy dodged and yawned

mihawk's eyes widened as he quickly slashed at luffy again but he missed

zoro: "wh-what?!"

luffy: "i said fight me why are you holding back?"

mihawk: "b-but I'm not- H-HOW"

luffy smirked

luffy: "my turn"

luffy: "GUM GUMMMM! PISTOL"

luffy slung his arm back as it came forward at immense speed hitting mihawk's face dead on

mihawk: "s-so what's your name and goal?"

luffy: "I'm monkey d luffy and I'm gonna be the pirate king"

mihawk smirked

mihawk: "so i just got defeated... by the future pirate king..."

he fell to the ground unconscious

everyone: "HE JUST DEFEATED MIHAWK!!!"

everyone looked at luffy in fear

(pause A/N you may be wondering "HOW TF DID HE DO THAT" well to begin luffy was sent back with all the powers he had after beating kaido plus he trained from when he got sent back all the way up until he left his island, another thing, he has mastered all his gears and won't lose his lifespan by using them anymore)

luffy: "hey mihawk you alright?"

mihawk: . . . 

luffy: "guy's why is he taking a nap?"

everyone fell over anime style

zoro: "l-luffy you"

luffy turned to zoro who had tears in his eyes

zoro: "LUFFY I PROMISE I WILL NEVER LOSE AGAIN!"

luffy smirked

luffy: "I'll take you up on that"

luffy helped zoro up his crew + sanji and zeff ran up to him

buggy: "h-how did you do that kid!"

luffy: "I'm super strong!"

nami: "kinda figured that"

don krieg looked extremely nervous

don krieg: "quick we need to get away!-"

luffy appeared in front of don and his crew and knocked them all -gin out with his conqueror's haki

gin didn't pull the same stunt as last time

luffy came back down to everyone

luffy: "you guys should call the marines"

the chef's did what he said

zeff looked at luffy

luffy looked back

zeff: "sanji you should go with him..."

sanji: "huh?"

zeff smirked

zeff: "after all the future pirate king deserves the best chef we got"

luffy smirked as sanji looked at zeff in surprise

sanji started to tear up as he had flashbacks with zeff

sanji: "thank you pops..."

zeff: "well what are you waiting for? arent you gonna set sail?"

luffy: "sure but first"

luffy walked over to mihawk 

everyone was wondering what was gonna happen next

luffy kicked mihawk's side shocking everyone

mihawk coughed and woke up

luffy: "hey there mihawk"

he looked up at luffy smirking

mihawk: "you truly are worthy of the title pirate king!"

luffy helped him up

luffy: "how about i treat you to a meal before you go"

mihawk: "why i would enjoy that"

gin: "welp I'm heading off"

everyone looked at him

he turned back and smiled

gin: "thank you so much but now I'm going off on my own adventure"

gin waved as he set off on a small boat with some food and water

mihawk was drinking some tea as luffy mowed through plate after plate

this was all on the house of course for saving the restaurant

mihawk: "so... you know shanks?"

luffy: "yeah when i was little he came to my island and he also gave me this straw hat!"

mihawk: "I'm quite surprised because he really loves that straw hat"

luffy: "yeah I'm gonna bring it back to him with no damage"

mihawk: "so I'm very interested who taught you haki?"

luffy: "i can't tell you it's a secret!"

mihawk: "i see..."

nami: "s-so uh Mr mihawk, what do you do in your free time?"

mihawk: "i train"

nami: "a-ah i see"

mihawk looked at zoro

mihawk: "you may need to get yourself some new swords to do that three-sword style again"

zoro: "i will mihawk sir!"

mihawk: "and buggy..."

buggy: "y-yeah"

buggy was sweating immensely

mihawk smiled

mihawk: "shanks still refers to you as his best friend"

buggy sweatdropped

usopp and sanji just didn't speak

and afterward mihawk left one way and the strawhats left another

mihawk called the world government and told them about his and Luffy's fight, shocking the government

the strawhats on the other hand were making their way to nami's island of course not in a rush so it will only take a day

at night

luffy was on the lookout and thought for a while

luffy: "mihawk was right zoro does need new swords but... i don't want him getting the ones from smokey's island cause when he got those he couldn't use directions anymore..."

luffy thought and thought when he had an idea

luffy: "i got it!"

he brought out a button from his pocket and pressed it

after a few seconds, a portal opened and i came out

me: "hey luffy"

luffy: "hi screen, look i need your help zoro needs two swords because the ones from smokey's island curses him or something "

me: "hmm i think i have something in mind"

i go back through the portal

and after a while i come back and show luffy the swords

me: "how are these luffy?"

luffy: "THEY'RE SO COOL! and perfect!"

i give them to luffy before leaving

luffy: "thanks screen!"

me: "no problem"

the portal closes leaving an excited luffy
