I felt something damp and cold on my right cheek and something liquid dripped on my left side of my cheek . My eyes opened slowly and very dim light came into view. I already felt a headache coming. The vision become better and I herd a sounded of two female whimpering.

I notice I was laying on a tile floor. I got up from the floor and saw that it was Jasmine and Kayla that was whimpering. They both got up from the floor and ran to me and both hugged me.

"O-Ow.", I said as I tired to pull them away. My neck, back, and lower body hurt like hell.

"Oh Dorinda, your finally awake.", Kayla said as Jasmine said, "Are you alright?",

"Ye-yeah.", I said, finally able to pull away. I looked at them both, but my attention caught to Kayla face. Both of her eyes were black and blue. On the left side of her lip was busted and her hair was a mess and it looked like some gaps of her hairwas pulled out. "Oh God.", I said as I touched her face and she winced in pain.

"Emma such a bitch. She got angry at you friend and kept hurting her.", Jasmine said, than looked at me, "I tired to stop them, but I didn't have any water and her brother was holding me back...", she said as she start to cry.

"What?", I asked angerly. I felt really mad and since I got a headache, it didn't help. I pulled Kayla into my chest as she also began to cry. "Where are we?", I asked, looking around the small room. It had no windows, no furniture, only one wooden door that was probably locked, the only thing was a dirty title floor.

"I don't know," Jasmine said as she start to clam down, "but somewhere in the woods. Dorinda, I have no idea where the others are. What if they're all hurt or worse.", she said. I knew what she meant by worse, but I didn't want to think of that.

Why hasn't Lucas found us yet? It shouldn't have bin to hard and god knows how long I bin out. He must of bin back at the palace and notice me, Edric, and Romy was gone and gone out looking again. Right?

"They're all right.", I said, but I didn't even believe myself since I just woke up and don't know where the hell I am.

I heard someone walking behind the door. Jasmine and Kayla both gasped and held on to me. The door made a click sound and opened and a really buff man that looked to be at twenty three was standing at the door. "You," he said, pointing his pale finger at me, "come.", he order.

I didn't move. After a few second, he realized I wasn't going to move. He sighed and walked over to me, grabbing my left upper arm and pulling me away from Kayla and Jasmine. "No, get off me.", I yelled, trying to pull away as Kayla and Jasmine said, "Let go of her.", as they help me tired to pull away. But the buff man pouched Kayla and Jasmine in a quick second with one hand and they both fell to the floor. I kept on pulling away, but he just threw me over his shoulder. I began to kick, but he seem not to mind cause he just kept on walking as he was walking into the park.

He closed the door and locked it as we got out the room, "I know how to kill a vampire." I lied of course, hoping it will scare him. He didn't say anything but just kept on walking. "I'm serio..", I stopped as I notice a blade was in his behind pocket. Now I just have to think of a way to get it out of his pocket. Come on Dorinda, think of something. I thought for about six second before I came up with something.

"Uh, where am I going?", I asked him forcefully.

"Shut up.", he barked as he hit me in the butt real hard.

I winced in pain, "Hey.", I said as I kicked him in the stomach with my foot, thankfully I had my shoes on. "I was just asking.", I started to lean my hand down to his pocket as I kept speaking, "Anyway, I'm sure you work for Emma, I mean, why else are you dragging me somewhere and where the hell are my friends!", I asked I reached the dagger.

I slowly pulled it out as I moved again so hopefully he wont feel it come out. "Answer me!", I barked, even though I knew I shouldn't have. Again he told me to shut up and slapped me in the butt, okay, now I'm really mad. That was the last time he touched me. I got the dagger out his pocket, damn he's an idiot, big and buff, but an idiot. "Don't touch me.", I yelled as I stabbed him in the back. It was hard, getting it throw his rock hard body, but I did it.

He yelled in pain and dropped me. I quickly got up, not looking back as I ran forward to god knows where. I probably only have a few moments before buff guy gets that dagger of his back and heal. I got to a pair of stairs and ran up them, it lead to outside. I didn't want to run from here. I want to help everyone, but I'm only one person.

Hopefully I'll run into someone and they can help me. I ran straight into the forest and didn't know where to go or how far the next town was. God, what the hell am I going to say to a vampire? I'm human, they probably laugh at me and take me home for dinner.

But maybe one will listen and help. Maybe if I tell them I know the Prince, they'll help me, right?

I start to feel tired and out of breath, but I kept on running. But I was only going slower as I kept on running. I stopped, taking in some deep breaths, hopefully I ran far enough that the buff guy couldn't smell me. I looked around the forest, seeing if I can see something like a cabin or a tent. I wonder if vampires camp?

I then saw something. I couldn't make it out since it was far away and me breathing hard made my vision fuzzy a little. It seemed like I didn't care what it was since I ran to it. The closer I got to it, the thing came clear. It was a cabin, it was little, but still a cabin. I ran up the stairs and started pounding on the door as I yelled, "Help! Please, someone help me.",

After about three seconds, someone finally opened the door. A girl that looked to be fifteen or sixteen answer. She has raven long black hair, deep blue eyes, and was pale, but it just went with her stunning look.

"Yes?", she asked, like she really didn't care.

"Please, me and my friends were kidnapped by Emma.", I said. I didn't even know her last name so how is this going to help me?

"Emma, as in Prince Lucas girlfriend?", she asked. I nodded my head quickly even though she wasn't Lucas girlfriend. "Ohh.", she said slowly to herself and nodding her head slowly.

"So, will you please hel-", I didn't finish cause out of nowhere, she punched me in the face real hard that I knocked out.

Little later...

My eyes shot open cause I felt someone painfully kick my stomach. "Wake up.", I heard Emma voice. I felt something like thick liquid come up my throat, not sure if it was throw up or blood, but I spit it out on the floor. "Bitch,", she said disgustingly, "how dare you spit that gross blood on my floor.",

I didn't say anything, I just looked up at her. She sighed angrily and rolled her eyes. I saw the girl that punched me. She had her arm cross her chest and she grinned at me. How could I've bin so stupid? There were about five buff guys in the room. I didn't see the guy I stabbed in the back though.

I wiped the blood that was on my left cheek forcefully and spoke, "Why are you doing this? Is it just because of Lucas? Have him, I don't care.", I said, getting up from the floor. It wasn't all true. I care about Lucas, but she can have him if it'll mean letting us go.

She gave a fake laugh and put her hands on her hips, "Your wanna know why? Dear Dorinda,", she walked over to standing infront of me, bending down to look me straight in the eyes, "I wanna be Queen and be in control. I don't care about Lucas. He's worthless. Nothing but a way to become someone important then being some loser. But you got in the way and I couldn't let that happen again. Savanna ruined my life and I won't let you either"

"And I don't want to fight with a human again. It's pointless.", she finish.

"Than why did you take the others and Kayla?", I asked angrily. "She has nothing to do with all this.", I said.

"Becuse I know killing her in front of you will just be a great show.", she said than snapping her finger. The doors opened and Tyson came in, only to be dragging Kayla by her hair. She was holding where he was grabbing her and tired pulling away, but it was no use. Tyson throw her on the floor next to me.

"Dorinda.", she said as I said her name. I hugged her and she hugged me back. "I know what they are. They're fucking vampires!", she said fearfully.

"I know, I know.", I said.

"Is this were you been the who--ow.", she yelled as Emma grabbed her hair and lifted her from the floor.

I got up from the floor, "Left go of her.", I yelled at Emma.

She laughed evilly, "This is going to be enjoyable.", she said as she bit into Kayla neck and Kayla screamed loud.

"Stop," I yelled as I was about to run, but the girl that brought me here was in front of me so I couldn't get to Kayla. I heard Kayla scream get lower and it soon became a whimper.

"Please Emma, stop! Your killing her!!", I begged passed the girl.

Behind the girl shoulder, Emma pulled away. Blood was around her mouth and I saw blood on her teeth as she grinned at me. "So yummy.", she said as she let go of Kayla. Kayla fell on the floor, lifeless, but she was still breath, but her chest was only going up and down real slowly.

The girl moved away laughing and I ran up to knee down to Kayla. I placed her head on my lap and started crying, "You evil bitch!", I yelled to Emma.

"Oh she's not dead," Emma said as she smacked her teeth against her teeth before rolling her eyes again and starting to whip her mouth clean, "but she will be soon. But," she said as she kneeled down in front of me and Kayla, "she doesn't have to die. I'll make you an offer.", she said, looking at me seriously. I had this lump feeling in the back of my throat, "I can gave her my blood. Vampire blood can heal humans, but that will only change her into one of us.",

My mouth open a little. No, I couldn't do that to Kayla. Kayla wouldn't want to be one of them. I know her. I couldn't get that lump feeling in the back of throat to be swallowed.

"And all you have to give to me is Lucas and he'll will find us very soon. Lilith here," she said, holding her hand up to the black haired chick, "already saw that him and that pack of mutts are near. So, once he's here, you make him kill you himself.",
