F/n POV

Bakugou and I were never close friends growing up because my bestfriend was Izuku.

But every time lzuku and I would go play with bakugou and his friends they would make fun of Izuku and for not getting his quirk as fast as we did he would always tell him that "he would never get a quirk" and that "he was a loser".

One day when we went to go play with bakugou he started calling Izuku a name it was "deku". I asked bakugou what that means he said "deku that is what you call a helpless loser that is completely useless" "stop being so mean just because he doesn't have one doesn't mean he won't get one" I told the ash blonde kid.

He looked at me for a minute and spoke "you can't talk (l/n) you don't have a quirk neither" 'he was right I didn't have a quirk yet' I said to myself looking kinda sad.

the next day

I went over to Midorya's house to for a play date so my mom and his mom could talk about what ever moms talk about. Izuku wanted to show me his favorite all might toy, so he ran in his room to to get it.

while I was waiting for him to get back I over heard our moms talking... they where talking about quirks and I hear Mrs. Midoriya say to my mom that "he has two joints in his pinky toe like 20% of the population".

Then I see Izuku running out his room with his all might figure and his eyes shining, I had a sad frown on my face then I hear Izuku say "(f/n) why do you look sad?"

"Oh sorry I was thinking about something" while waving my hands in his face. The rest of the day we talked about our favorite hero's and of course his was all might. He asked me what my favorite pro hero was I looked up at the ceiling with my hand on my chin and said <insert favorite hero here> "there so cool I wish I had a quirk like there's".

He looked down at his hands with a sad expression on his face. "Hey are you ok Izuku?" he looked at me with tears about to fall from his eyes "I'm quirkless" he said with tears coming down, I stood up while saying "there's nothing wrong with that".

He looked up at me wiping his tears away, "that means when you become the #1 hero you have a story to tell" trying to cheer him up.

I heard my name being called by my mom that it was time to go "bye Izuku" I said, we slid our shoes on and left.
