"If we are going to do this...then we better make it quick!" I whispered quietly and Cedric grabbed my hand and i jumped off my balcony nearly landing on Cedric but he caught my hand and I was able to get up onto his broom. Cedric was called goody two shoes so often and it wasn't entirely true. Well at least not the Cedric I know. Some might say I'm a bad influence on him but I like to think I am just bringing something that he had hidden. Every hufflepuff had a adventurous side, it's just on the decision to act on it or not.
"We need to be quick we're going to be late!" He said and quickly flew in the direction of where our prefect meeting was. Once we got there we hid his broom and ran inside the building.
"Sorry we're late!" Cedric said breathlessly pretending he had run here
"It's alright. We didn't start without you anyways" Chris said while we found our way to a available seat. We sat through a whole hour of talking about the schools security until we were finally let out for the weekend.
"That was incredibly boring" Chris said walking next to Cedric and me.
"I know they could've just wrote that in a letter instead of making me listen to that" Cedric agreed and I nodded
"I'm going to go to the library. Catch you two later?" I nodded and so did Cedric as we walked back into the school.
"We have a month to do whatever we want to do before school ends for the year. I can't believe next year is our last"
"I know it feels like I've lived in Hogwarts all my life. My dad has gave me a letter to give you" I pulled out the letter from my pocket and passed it to him. He opened it and chuckled.
"What? What did he say?" I asked quickly
"It's just a bunch of allergy warnings and instructions on 'how to keep Athena entertained'" I pouted as I felt like  my dad made me out to be immature.
"Sorry about that, my dad just worries about random things. And if he wrote on there-"
"He said that you have a bedtime-"
"Wait what?!?" I quickly tried to reach the letter and he reached his arm out
"I was kidding" he laughed and I let out a breath I was holding in since I gave him the letter.
"I'm going to bed" I said and he rose an eyebrow
"It's 2 in the afternoon"
"I know"

"Whats wrong with her?" Cedric asked the two boys who were sitting casually in the slytherin common room
"She's been ill for the past few days. Maybe the flu I don't know. The normal symptoms; high temperature, headaches, you know things like that" Grayson said shrugging his shoulders. Ever since him and Athena made up, he felt he has to repay her as he was in the wrong and he felt awful about it and that's why he had stayed out of lessons when Athena was Ill. He promised Chris she'd be okay with him but it was Grayson so he didn't do that well with being a doctor. The first day he was taking care of her, he kept telling Her jokes and this made her headache worse the more she laughed.
"Can I go see her?" They both nodded and continued finishing off their homework.
"Ced?" Her voice was small and quiet yet he heard her perfectly from the other side of the room. She was covered in blankets and looked exhausted. He walked up to her and kissed her forehead. He felt her warm skin on his lips so he decided to feel her forehead to see how hot she was. She must've of had a very high temperature as he took his hand off a few seconds after.
"My father always gave this to me when I was ill and it made me feel better so I'll go get you a spoon and I'll be back" she nodded weakly and he rushed out the room to grab a spoon. Once he had retrieved the object he came back and poured the liquid onto a spoon and told her to open her mouth.
"It's not going to taste that bad" he reassured her but she still hesitantly opens her mouth.
She hummed when the medicine went down her throat and then she stuck her tongue out as it did not have the okay taste that Cedric said it had. He chuckled at her reaction and he took one of the blankets off her as that was probably why she was so hot. The next few hours was spent with Cedric laying on the bed with athenas head on his chest while he read to her to fall asleep and surprisingly it worked after a few chapters. He knew he had to go back to his dorm soon but he didn't want to wake her up so he got Grayson to quickly swap with him and take his place so she'd be comfortable. He shut the door quietly and sat down next to Chris.
"I feel like this is a question that I feel like I need to ask but should I be worried about that?" He pointed to where Athena and Grayson where and he quickly shook his head
"Of course not. You need to remember Cedric, me Athena and Grayson have been freinds since we were practically 1 years old, we had sleepovers like little kids do have so we are just used to this stuff and I'm sorry that makes you uncomfortable but we just want what's best for her and that includes you" he nodded and Cedric smiled. He felt accepted by her two brother figures and that felt amazing as he now and nothing in his way when it came to his girlfriend. Well except maybe sky and cho but that didn't matter at this point in time.
