"Y/N, come on we're about to leave!" An annoyed feminine tone yelled from down the steps, causing a sigh to escape from Y/N.

"I'm coming hold on!" The H/C girl grabbed her last bag, adding to the other one on her left arm. Her feet carried her out of her room and down the wooden steps.

"Are you excited?" Y/N turned her head to look at her mother, nodding her head.

"Well, duh." The younger girl answered, walking toward the front door. "Are you ready or did you even pack yet?"

"We haven't even gotten out the door and you're already giving me sass," the mother pointed out, grabbing her bags as well.

"You should be used to this by now," Y/N turned the cold golden knob, pulling the whitened door open.

A warm breeze immediately brushed past the younger girl, combing her H/C hair.

Y/N took the first step outside, other houses flooding her vision. Her legs carried her to the small blue car while the mom locked the house.

"Hurry up! It's hot out here!" Y/N yelled as she waited by the trunk, waiting for it to open. The brunette mother shot the younger girl a glare. Y/N returned the glare with a sheepish smile.

Soon, the bags were all packed in the rummaged trunk and the two girls were now on the road. Songs blasted through the speakers of the car, everything in the car jumping due to the vibration.

The two talked and talked, making sure there was no ounce of silence.

"So now that we're on the road can you finally tell me where we're going?" Y/N asked, playing with her H/C hair.

"Hmm, let me think- no," the mother answered, earning a frown and sigh from Y/N.

"Not even a hint?"

"Hmm...—woah!" As the mother tried to answer another car suddenly swerved in front of her. She swiftly tried to swerve the car away to safety, though now being surrounded by trees she instead crashed.

A loud bang rang, two airbags inflated, cushioning the two heads that flung forward. Though, it did not protect them from the glass shards that flew towards the two.

Pain ran all through Y/N's body, to her knees that collided with the glove compartment to her forehead that was now a bloody mess. Grunts of pain escaped the young girl's lips as she slowly moved away from the airbag.

Her head swerved to the left to check on the woman who she called mom. The woman hadn't moved an inch, her body resisting breaths.

Y/N's eyes stung, her heart anchored, body frozen. "M-mom?"

No reply.

She reached out her hands to shake the woman, calling her out once again.

No reply, once again.

Soon, sobs had filled the car along with salty tears. She retracted from the corpse, quickly unbuckling herself and abandoning the car.

A burning sensation traveled up her throat, stomach twisting in fits. She kneeled down, ignoring the itchy feeling brought to her by the grass.

Sorrow filled the once joyous girl, pushing her into a state of depression.

She's dead...

She's dead!

Tears streamed down the cheeks of the girl, her head banging and begging her to stop.

This can't be real...

She raised her arm, pinching her skin all over, begging and pleading for this to be fake.

Though, it was real.

Get up, Y/N. A voice pushed it's way through the depressed thoughts of the girl, giving directions.

You have to get up.

You have to get out of here.

Sniffs came from the girl, slowly pushing herself up. I can't just stay here, what am I doing?

I need to go.

But, I need to get supplies first.

Y/N sniffer once again, looking back at the car. More tears poured from her eyes, seeing the reality of what just happened.

Go, Y/N.

Her feet carried her to the driver's side of the car, hesitantly pulling the car door open. Y/N quickly slapped a hand over her mouth, seeing her dead mother in the seat in front of her.

Go on.

The girl took one swift look at her mother with her sorrowed eyes before bending down and pulling a lever, a soft thunk following behind.

Y/N quickly closed the door and traveled back to the trunk of the car, sniffing the snot back into her nostrils.

Her hands moved to the bags, unzipping her mother's to be met with a picture.

A small H/C haired girl reaching out her index finger to a man with red hair. He had been on one knee to reach the girl's height, a slight smile shaping his lips.

Y/N looked at it for a small minute before placing it to the side and digging further down into the bag. Her hand met her mother's phone. She had been on the verge of dialing emergency help until her mind spoke.

No, there's a house close to here. Go to it.

The girl stood there, frozen in shock. Had she had brain damage? Go. Into the forest.

Though, she was shocked that the voice spoke of that, it had been oddly persuasive. They will give me warmth and help if I do, so why not.

Y/N dropped the phone, looking towards the field crowded with trees. Go.

So, she went.

Minutes had passed until she had found the place her mind had spoken of. She had bee approaching the doors when a man suddenly appeared in front of her.

The man had red hair, glasses, though an eyepatch covering one eye. The exact same man she had just seen in the picture.

"Ha!? Who are you?" The man spoke, looking down at the girl.

"Y-you're—are you real?" Y/N questioned him, tears threatening to fall.

The man's eye had now been wide open as if he'd been hit with realization.

"Y/N?"

Go on.

Y/N hadn't wasted a second, running up to him and embracing him in a hug. Tears slithered out of her eyes.

Shin had stood there in utter shock, his arms hesitantly slithering around her.

Welcome home.
