After painstakingly looking through the woods for half an hour, I finally spotted Asta hanging on a tall tree while looking at the sunset.

I slowly crept up to him. "BOO!!"

" UWAHHHH!!" Asta screamed, almost falling off the the branches.

" Isana... I thought that if I got my grimoire, I'd be able to use magic but... " Asta frowned, his eyes looked lifeless.

"Don't worry, I believe that you can get your grimoire...." I flicked his forhead.

"Ouch! What are you talking about... I didn't get anything..." His frowned deepened.

"Asta... You once said that if I told you anything then you would believe me right? Now, I'm telling you that you will receive your grimoire. Plus... Yuno still acknowleges you as his rival, so don't disappoint him with that negative mindset you have right now... You are Asta for christ sake... You never get discouraged no matter what people do to you... Believe me, believe in Yuno and most of all... believe in yourself." I felt so wise as I preached to Asta.

Asta's eyes slightly watered a bit as he gained back the liveliness he was famous for.

"That's right... Like hell I'm gonna give up! Don't underestmate me, fate! I'll show you! Even if it takes one, two, ten or a hundred years! I'll keep working hard until I get my grimoire! I'll become the magic emperor, and prove to everyone that anyone can be awesome, even if they're poor or just some orphan! You jerk! Just you wait Yuno!" Asta declared his life ambitions.

I clapped at his undying dtermination.

Kyaa 0\\0 He mentioned Yuno!! ....Was all Isana was thinking about.

(Meanwhile)

"

H-hey you don't have to got that far..." One of the villain mobs stuttered.

"We should have been the stars today. And yet... this peasant recieves a four-leaf clover?! I'll just..." The other mob lifted up his grimoire and used a fire spell.

"Hey!"

"I'll just have to turn it into ash!" The fire spell went straight to Yuno.

Yuno used his wind magic to protect himself. Leaving the fire to burn everything around him, turning the grass charcoal black.

"He held back my flames without even opening his grimoire?!" The mobs were stunned.

Just as they were both arguing with each other to attack Yuno. Several chains came bursting out of the wall, binding them to it.

"UWAHHH!!" Their loud screams resounded in a distance.

" UWAHHH!!" Loud screams could be heard.

Ohhhhh its here!! The part where Yuno is held captive by this mob chain user and when Asta gets his grimoire and saves Yuno (the damsell in distress lol)..!

"Let's go check it out..!" I suggested to Asta before hopping on trees towards the sound. Asta nodded his head and followed me.

Wait for Asta, Yuno.

"I can't let you go burn that..." A creepy voice could be heard.

"Don't bother to resist. My creation magic: Binding Iron chain restricts the magic and movement of the one it captures." He continued on.

The mobs were trembling inside the chains.

"Who are you?" Yuno asked.

"

Until recently, I was a pretty well-known Magic Knight called Revchi of chain magic.
But I got kicked out, so now I'm just a wretched thief. And I'll be taking that grimoire." Revchi introduced himself before summoning chains to bind Yuno and taking Yuno's grimoire.

"Revchi was it? It's pointless of you to steal that. The only one---" Yuno was cut off by Revchi continuing his sentence.

"The only one who can use a grimoire is the one it chose. However, underground collectors are collecting grimoires with four-leaf clovers for insane prices. A four-leaf clover may have chosen you, but you just recieved it. You're still just a little chick. How unfortunate foe you to have met me. Your legend will end before it even begins." Revchi sadistly laughed.

"Hey, your pendant looks like its worth something too. I guess I'll taking that too..." Revchi smiled creepily.

"Wait!!!" Yuno could hear Isana's and Asta's voice.

Thank god we made it in time for this scene...!

Asta bumped onto the wall, I laughed inwardly as I caught him princess-styled before he head-butted the ground.

Asta blushed deeply before getting up and pointed to the mob.

"What do you think you're doing?! I've come to save... Huh?"

"Your enemy is here, Asta." I chuckled.

"That's Yuno's grimoire! Why do you have it? You thief!!" He shifted his gaze to Revchi.

"Aren't you the pathetic brat who haven't even got a grimoire?" Ouch that gotta hurt for Asta.

"Asta is not pathetic! He's gonna get his grimoire someday!!" I defended Asta.

"Isana..." His eyes twinkled and cried fake tears of joy.

"A grimoire is important to the person who recieved it! Give it back to Yuno, you jerk!" Asta shouted at Revchi.

That's right Asta...! Use your strong words to make Yuno fall for you!!

Revchi just laughed mockingly and talked about how crooked deed can be overlooked in these countryside places.

"But you'll be dead before you even find that out youselves." I sneered at his words cuz I know he's gonna get his ass whooped as hard.

"Run! Asta! Isana!" Yuno's desperate voice to warn Asta to run is so touching...

"I'm not gonna run from a disgraced loser like him." Asta ran straight towards Revchi.

I could only laugh and follow Asta. Dodging Revchi's chains was freaking hard cuz it was literally everywhere. It was only a matter of time Asta got caught. I was still busy dodging all the chains. Dammit...! I look so lame right now, just evading all these chains, but I can't be caught. I wanna boost Asta's physical qualities when he gets him grimoire to give Revchi an extra hard smack on his ass.

Asta soon got caught and went sent flying to the wall.

Asta's POV

'What a heavy blow... So this is the power of the mages outside of town. I can't possibly beat him with just my physical training...'
I thought to myself.

"Thanks for the useless struggle, brat." Revchi stepped onto me.

"I have the ability to find out how much magical power one has with my chains. And you have no magic at all. You must have been born that way. No wonder you couldn't get a grimoire. To think you lack even an ounce of magic even when magic is everything in this world. What a priceless find!" Revchi's mocking voice made me despair.

Huh? What the hell? Then no matter how hard I try, I won't be able to use magic?

"What a pathetic guy. You won't be able to find a job, let alone become the magic emperor. I'm sure your both your friends mocks you as well." Revchi continued on to rub salt onto my wounds.

Even Isana...? No... That can't be... Isana said that he believed in me... But was Isana mocking me in secret too...? Was he lying too when he said that Yuno acknowledged me as a rival...?

Maybe Revchi's right. No matter how hard I try, there are just some things that can't happen... I should just give--

"Hey! Asta, it may be true that you won't be able to become the magic emperor, no matter what."

"See? Even your little friend is telling you that its impossible."

"Because that's because I'm gonna become the magic emperor! He's no loser, Asta's my rival!" So that means that Isana wasn't lying... Isana really believed in me...! Yuno also acknowldeges me as his rival! I musn't disappoint their expectations of me.

"Huh? This guy? Your riv-" Revchi just kicked in the nuts by Isana.

"That's right! I believe in Asta! That's why you should believe in yourself too, Asta." Isana's back looks so tall right now. He believes in me...

Sorry for ever doubting you, Isana....

I got up on my feet. "Just a sec... I'm gonna kick this guy's ass!"

"Just a sec... I'm gonna kick this guy's ass!" Asta looked up, as if enlightened.

He must have felt Yuno's love and sense of rivalry between them...!

A five-leaf clover grimoire popped in front of in front of Asta.

"I knew it...! There was no way Asta wasn't chosen!" Yuno's expectation of Asta as a rival is so sweet💕💕 This relationship could definitely go more than just rivals..!

Revchi stared at Asta with fear, dropping Yuno's grimoire.

That's right! WHOOP HIS ASS ASTA! I increased Asta's attack power and speed by 50%.

"GO WHOOP HIS ASS ASTA!!" I cheered him on.

Asta took his sword out from his grimoire and ran towards Revchi. Revchi tried to block Asta with his chains. Heh! Asta's sword can cut magic dimwit!

He swung his sword down, smashing Revchi across the space, burrowing him deep inside the wall. GET OWNED SUCKA!! AHAHA

The chain magic binding Yuno finally disappeared. I hurriedly ran up to Yuno to check whether he had any bruises. Just in case, I increased his recovery ability by 50%.

Congratulations, Master. Upon the completion of this scene, you have levelled up by 5 levels. Ability: Analysis has been unlocked. Master's current level is 31. 4 more levels till auto-combat mode is unlocked.

Auto-combat?

This ability would allow system to take control of Master's body. System's precise calculations would allow Master's body to predict the enemy's movements. In times of desperations, this ability is most useful as it ignores pain, only having the objective of elimainating the enemy. Don't worry, Master can swap back if she thinks that system has gone too far.

Oh my... I feel kinda OP.

My deep thoughts were interupted as I saw one of Yuno's rare smiles at Asta as Asta caressed his grimoire while saying that he would take good care of it.

This smile.... It definitely has an ambiguos meaning towards it...!

As I was busy thinking about the various ulterior motives behind Yuno's smiles. ( Mainly erotic yaoi moments )

That day, Asta made an absolute promise to himself that he would never doubt Isana's wise words ever again and that he would continue believing in himself.

While Yuno just felt useless cuz Isana and Asta saved him once again, strengthening his resolve to become the magic emperor.
