-(y/n)'s P.O.V-
Well, other than Fresh causing some trouble for me, this class has been pretty good.
Like usual.
And now I can go to lunch and hang out with (b/f/n).
Just as I was exiting the classroom, Fresh ran up to me.
"Hey (y/n). Sorry about earlier." Fresh apologized.
"It's fine. I guess. Just please don't interrupt me when I'm writing again." I said.
"You really love to write, don't you?" Fresh questioned.
I paused before responding.
"Writing is more than a hobby to me. It's a passion of mine." I explained, my eyes most likely sparkling as I said that.
Fresh's glasses quickly changed to say 'Cute'.
Eh... Do the glasses show what he's thinking...?
If so...
... A skeleton just found me cute.
... I don't know whether or not to be flattered by this...
"Well, I must be going now." I said, before turning to leave.
I then headed down the hallways to my locker to grab my lunch.
I never trust school lunches... For good reason...
After grabbing my lunch, I headed to the cafeteria, where I found (b/f/n) waiting for me with a school lunch.
... I honestly don't know how she's still alive after eating some of the suspicious food that this school has put out there...
... Or how anyone else is still alive...?
"Hey (b/f/n)." I greeted my bestie.
"Hi! (y/n)... What happened?"
I raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you're blushing. It isn't too noticeable. But from your best friend, it's noticeable to me. So... Who asked you out?" (b/f/n) explained.
"No one asked me out. It's just... Well... I don't know if this counts... But... Turns out Fresh's glasses change what's written on them based on what he's thinking, and after I explained that I loved to write, his glasses said 'Cute'." I explained.
(b/f/n) looked like she could explode...
.... With happiness.
"... I ship it! I ship it so hard!" (b/f/n) shouted, probably attracting us some attention.
"(b/f/n)! I don't even like him. I mean, I just saw him for the first time a few hours ago. How could I already have feelings for him?" I explained.
(b/f/n) thought for a moment before responding.
"You're right! We need to have you two have more interactions with each other! Then I can officially ship you two!" (b/f/n) exclaimed.
I facepalmed.
(b/f/n) can be so clueless sometimes.
"How about we just eat-"
"While we plan your wedding?"
I glared.
(b/f/n) put her hands up in a defensive way.
"Woah there. No need to get so harsh towards me. You know I'm only kidding."
Though we both knew she was lying there.
"Can we just eat please? Without talking about the skeleton brothers? I'd really appreciate some time spent just talking about something other than male skeletons." I questioned.
(b/f/n) sighed.
"Fine. Be no fun." (b/f/n) said, before sticking her tongue out at me.
I playfully stuck my tongue out back at her.
We both then burst into laughter at our childish actions.
"We are SO mature." (b/f/n) said.
"Well, I can't say that you are... As for me... I'm the most mature of them all." I boasted in a 'high authority' voice.
(b/f/n) quickly burst into a fit of giggles, and I was soon joining her.
"Alright, alright. Let's actually go eat now." I said.
"Okay..." (b/f/n)'s voice trailed off.
We then headed to our usual table to eat our lunch.
***
"Guess I'll see you in 5th block?" I questioned.
"Of course! It's not like I can skip school or anything. My parents would kill me if I did that!" (b/f/n) exclaimed.
"Just making sure. See you then!" I said, before heading off to my next class.
Science.
Well, at least I always have extra room since my two-person table was left alone, so I can use the extra room for...
... You got to be kidding me!
Sitting in the chair next to my spot in my science class was Unfresh!
Seriously?! I can't seem to ever avoid these skeletons!
I sighed as I sat down next to Unfresh and began to get my things out.
Things can't get much worse from here.
"Everyone, if you could bring your attention to me, I will begin to explain today's lab. And like always, you'll be working with your table partners."
... Kill me now!
-Unfresh's P.O.V-
The girl next to me looked very annoyed when the teacher said that we'd be working with our table partners.
You're not the only one Sweetheart. You really think I want to work with a total stranger?
Hell no!
After a few minutes of zoning out the teacher's boring instructions, I was tapped furiously on the shoulder.
"What?!" I snapped, as I turned to face the girl.
"Look here Unfresh. I don't want to work with you either. But we need to get this done. So, stop zoning out and actually help!" The girl scolded, despite keeping her voice to a whisper.
...Wow...
... A girl who actually speaks her mind...
... I like it...
"Alright, alright. What do I need to do?" I questioned.
The girl looked a bit shocked for a moment, before regaining her composure.
"You can start with reading the instructions." The girl said.
I then turned to the textbook and started reading off the instructions.
***
"(y/n). Unfresh. I'm very impressed with how well you did this lab. You were able to follow the instructions perfectly. Excellent job." The teacher said as she finished inspecting our work.
So, her name's (y/n). Not too shabby of a name.
"Thanks for actually helping. I didn't expect you to help at all." (y/n) said while collecting her things together.
"You're welcome? Hey, just because I'm awesome doesn't mean I can't help out." I said.
"Guess you're right. See you tomorrow." (y/n) said, before standing up and leaving the classroom.
Hmph.
What an interesting girl.
Yay! Another chapter! Hope you're still enjoying the story. If not, please let me know why so I can improve. Thanks in advance! Later! =^-^=
