Ahsoka

"Malin, time to go!" I called.

"Coming!" I heard her yell, as she came barreling through the house. 

Today we are going to Onderon. Lux invited us to spend the holidays in the palace, everyone is super excited.

We started walking to the ship, it was a long walk (at least 10 minutes). on the way my family asked me questions about the palace, the customs of Onderonians, what they eat, etc.

"I can't believe it! my first space trip! And I'm staying in the Onderon royal palace!!!" Malin let out a small screech as we boarded the ship.
We all laughed at her antics as the door closed.

We put away our bags and Malin and I went to the cockpit, Mom and Dad stayed in the seating area. "You ready?" I asked, though I already knew the answer. "Born ready!" She replied and I flew out of the atmosphere, punched in the coordinates, and went into hyperspace.

Time Skip

We came out of hyperspace and there it was, Onderon.

Mom and Dad then came into the cockpit, with wonder written on their faces.

"Wow," they all breathed, pure amazement in their eyes as I piloted us down to the planet's surface. We flew over Iziz and Malin's face was practically touching the glass.

"Ahsoka this place is amazing!" my mom exclaimed "Wait till you see the palace," I smirked, Malin looked like she would explode with excitement. She turned back to the window only to express the most shock I've ever seen her in, as we approached the palace, I made my way to the landing platform where I saw Lux waiting for us with a huge smile on his cute face.

"This is Ahsoka Tano asking for permission to land," I said into the radio.

"Permission granted," came the voice of a guard.

I landed and we all went to wait for the ramp to open. Mailn couldn't stop smiling and bouncing.

the door finally opened and I saw Lux and the king waiting for us, I stepped forward, Malin and my parents following closely next to me, I bowed my head at the king, and my family did the same.

I then hugged Lux and pecked his cheek, Malin then hugged him and my parents shook his hand.

"I'm so glad you're here! He exclaimed, "Thank you so much for having us," my father replied with a smile.

Lux then had some servants grab our bags and showed us to our rooms,
" I figured you would want joined rooms, and my room is right across the hall," He said as he opened the door to my room, I had been in the palace before so I wasn't very surprised at the size of the rooms, Malin on the other hand, couldn't close her eyes since we walked in the palace.

I'll leave you to get settled, Lux said as he started walking to the door, "Thank you Lux," I smiled, "Anything for you 'Soka," He said quietly so only I could hear.

Malin and my parents had gone to their rooms to explore, so I explored mine, my bed was gorgeous, and big, at least a queen size, though knowing Lux I'm sure it was king size, with curtains fastened to posts that almost reached the 13-foot ceilings. There was a couch and a couple of chairs, in the middle of them was a little table, it had a vase of flowers.

 Duran feather lilys! Those are extremely rare, how did he get a whole vase full?!

I looked over to my nightstand and saw more! And on my vanity another vase full!

"Ahsoka are you seeing this?!?!" Malin shouted as she burst into my room. "Ya, pretty awesome right?"
"This is WAY more than awesome!!!" She exclaimed.

I then heard a knock on my door, I opened it to see a human servant girl, who looked about 15 or 16 years old.
"Miss Ahsoka, Senator Bonteri sent me to inform you that he has planned a dinner for you and your family, he is waiting in the dining room as we speak,"

"Thank you, uh..."

"Tekkla," She said.

"I'll go get my family then we can go," I said as I went to my parent's room which was on the other side of Malin's, which was between the two rooms.
I knocked on the door and Mom opened it.

"Hey honey, need something?" She asked.

"Lux is waiting for us in the dining room," I said, 
"Why don't you and Malin go, we'll get ready and catch up," She replied.

"Ok, I'll tell Lux, see ya in a bit," 
"Thanks, dear," Mom kissed my forehead and closed the door.

"My parents said they're gonna get ready, they'll be out in a minute," I said as I rejoined Malin and Tekkla, who seemed to be getting along great.

Tekkla led me and Malin to the dining room, which was huge!
In the center of the dining room was a long table, likely meant to hold food during parties.
The room had several round tables bordering the walls, which during a large dinner would be full of guests.

I spotted Lux at a random table, near a window. I lead Malin to the seats.

"Hey 'Soka, hello Malin," He smiled, though after he realized we were alone he frowned, "where are your parents?" 
"They're getting ready, they should be here in a minute," I explained
He smiled and asked, "So, how do you like it so far?"

"The rooms are amazing Lux," I said,
"I was hopeful you would like them," he replied,

We talked a little more before my parents entered behind a servant who quickly left.

After dinner, Malin and I went to our rooms to get ready for bed.
"G'night Ahsoka!" Malin said as she hugged me, "G'night Mai," I hugged back.

After Malin went to bed, I heard a knock at my door, looking up from my book, I walked across my room to open the door.
I wasn't too surprised to see Lux standing in front of me.
"Hey Lux, what's up?" I asked him, ushering him in. "I wanted to see how you were settling in. I was also wondering if you wanted to catch up, if not that's fine." He said the last part somewhat quickly.

I smiled "Of course!" We were now seated on the couch.

"So how have you been 'Soka?" The nickname always makes my lekku darken, "I'm good, you?"
"Same," he replied.

"So I've been wondering, where did you get those?" I asked gesturing to the vase of rare flowers in front of me.

"Well, being the heir to the throne of Onderon has its perks," 

It took me a second to register what he said, but when I did I almost screamed.

"Lux that's amazing!!!" I whisper shouted, so as to not wake my family. "I thought you'd be excited," he laughed.

"To answer your question about the flowers, I bought them from the Lonatron Gardens on Lonatro," He explained.
"There beautiful," I said. 
"I'm glad you like them," 

We talked until 11 o'clock when we looked at the time and decided we should go to bed.

"G'night Lux," I whispered, "G'night 'Soka" He whispered back.

I closed the door and went to bed.

Today was great!

Also, in this book, Ahsoka and Lux are both 18, and Mailn is 12.
