" It's just a small cut. " I told Mr Darcy. But he didn't pay attention and patched the wound with a clean cloth. It was really nothing. I could see others in the room getting amused by seeing how anxious Darcy was.

" It's all better, thank you Mr Darcy. " I thanked him politely. " If you don't like your dress , we can get another one you don't have to do such stuff. " he said and well that's very sweet of him.

" Thank you Mr Darcy , that's really kind of you. " I told him. " You really need to stop thanking me for everything. come have a seat with us. " he said and since my work is almost done , I went with him near the table where they were playing cards.

" That's not nice brother, I am very upset. " I told my brother sitting next to him , making a face. " What made my sweet sister angry ? " he asked me.

" I got hurt and you didn't even came to check my wound. I will complain jane about it. " I threatened him. He laughed and said " My apologies. But I saw you getting nice attention. So as a brother I decided to give you some privacy. " he said . Very funny , I just made an angry face.

" Sorry my sister.  But seriously, are you alright? " he asked and I nodded. They resumed playing cards and this time I joined them. Since my work is almost done.

Right now Elizabeth must be in Collins redar. He wants to marry her. She has listened wickham's story and now thinks bad about Darcy. But I am sure thinks will change. And when it does, what will I do ? I have to think about it.

Next day

" Where are you going? " asked Mr Darcy as he saw me and my brother walking towards the carriage. Brother stopped and said " we're going to invite few people for the ball personally. "

" Specially Jane and her sisters. I am sure they will be thrilled to attend the ball. " I told Mr Darcy. " You both have to go for that ? " he asked all curious.

" Yes , and you go and invite the officers and we will be back soon. " Said my brother and he nodded. I walked up to him and said " Any special words for your lady with  beautiful eyes ? Or you can invite her
yourself. " I tried to tease him a little. Play little real Caroline for a bit.

" Very funny Carol , very funny. " he said and left without another word. I back in the carriage and together we left to go Bennet house. It didn't took us much time to go Bennet house.

Elizabeth has just learned about Darcy and I am sure she is furious at him. I don't know how am I going to handle everything or can I really handle anything?

We both walked infront of the door and knocked. A server came to attend us. He led us inside the house. Soon Mrs Bennet walked in the room and she became very delighted once she spotted my brother. She sat down to have a conversation with him.

Soon , Elizabeth and Jane walked in. And before Mrs Bennet could send my brother and Jane in some place where they can be in peace I have to talk about the event.

" We are finally organising a ball in neitherfield park on Tuesday. And my brother wants all of you to attend it. " I told them handing them the card.

" That's really kind of you to come here and to invite us in person. " Said Jane with a smile. " It's not a big deal. We're good friends after all. " I ensured her.

But I saw Elizabeth's looks and they're dark. Someone has filled her mind with filth about Mr Darcy. But I can't do anything unless any of them asks for help. So I have to be quiet.

Mrs Bennet kept talking herself, she than sent my brother and her daughter to sit little away from us while she went inside to bring something for us to eat.

Elizabeth who was quite finally said to me " Those dresses were really nice. We loved them " she said and I gave her a big smile. I am really glad that she liked them .

" Where is Mr Collins? " I asked her looking around the house. " Don't know, don't care. " She said with an angry face. " I see...bring him too. It's so fun to watch him. " I told we laughed together.

" Can I ask you something? Will you mind if I ask you something
personal? " She asked looking hesitant and I think I know why. I nodded with a smile.

" For how long you know Mr Darcy? " She asked. " Well , for a long time. My brother was his friend in his youth and slowly we become family
friends. " I replied to her.

" And what do you think about his character? Honest opinion. " She asked me all serious. I have to think and answer carefully to her. Not that it will matter much to her.

" As far as I know Mr Darcy is an excellent brother, and a good friend. He was made responsible for things when he was quite young and I must say , he did a good job. As for what's the specific thing you want to know...that I am not understanding. " I said to her at last. Her eyes were studying my expression, my face.

" Nothing in particular, just curious. People here have made assumptions that he is a cold hearted man , who has no emotions. " She said still watching my expression.

" Is that true ? But I would suggest don't believe them . They're just some prejudices again him. I have seen him doing things or letting go somethings to those persons who doesn't deserve it. We must not judge a book by it's cover. " I told her trying to brushen up Darcy's character infront of her. And I know I will be the first person who will not attend their wedding.

" You sound just like Jane. " Said Elizabeth with a pouting face. " I do ? Well that's a huge compliment, thank you. " I her and she pouted even more .  " I love your style too. You say what's in your mind without having fear of anyone or anything. You make sure that what your thinking about someone or something by talking with others and don't believe in comments of a single person. " I told her and her face turned red. I talked with her little more.

" Sister let's go. " Came my brother's voice. I looked up and saw him all ready to leave. " Well , I will see both of you at the ball. " I told them. " Will your sister's be coming? " I asked her.

" Yes , they will come for the ball and leave next morning. " Said Jane. My brother looked surprised so I let Jane explain the situation to him.

" I don't understand the need of such extreme hardship like studies on women. " Said Mrs Bennet making faces towards me. " Well it will help them get rich husbands in the future." I told her and her smile returned.

" Man from good society wants girls who can read , cook , kneett and have a steady mind. So this will be beneficial. " I ensured her and she was happy again.

We said goodbies and left the Bennet house. My brother look lost in thoughts of Jane and Darcy thinks he isn't in love...poor him. I ride back to home was a quite one. But I need the quitness to decide what to do next. I need to think, since we will be leaving soon.
