"They are gone"
It was just a whisper at first try, then a statement and then it was a loud shout that made people look around to find the source of the voice. It was Cheng Yu Who Shout, when Feng Jiu left the room she sensed something strange about her so she followed her and saw the couple taking hands and vanishing together, the next she saw the god of war and heard the announcement. She returned to the room confused about what Mo Yan just said, she thought it over and finally the meaning hit her, they are gone to be together. First she whispered the result she found, then she repeated to believe it and at the end shouted it with happiness.
"They are gone"
It was Bai Qian who reacted first: who is gone?
Cheng Yu smiled with all her face and said: Feng Jiu and Dijun, they met out of the courtroom, took each other's hands and vanished. They left a scroll behind that saying they are enter to an eternal seclusion and wish the best for realms, but who are we kidding, Feng Jiu and eternal seclusion? They went to be together, they eloped.
The shock of her words still had not settled when Ze Yan walked out of the room in hurry steps, he looked at the sky and cursed the always clear sky of Ching Chu for the first time, he needed stars to examine those two fools status.
But for stars to be shown they have to wait till night, still better than heavens that never have night! It was the first time he thought how important the weather can be! "I finally lost my mind, this fox clan never let me to rest!" he thought before being barged out of his mind by Bai Zhen.
"Why did you run out?"
Zhe Yan pointed to the sky with his finger and answered: to examine stars, but there is none.
Bai Zhen: What are you suspicious of?
"Not the very pleasant one."  Zhe Yan murmured and felt Bai Zhen's hand on his arm. Eternal seclusion? there is not a thing like that, it's what they used to say when a powerful god falls in nothingness, he was still thinking of how and what to say to the fox clan when Mo Yan came with a rare smile on his face and a rolled scroll in his hand.
"Old phoenix don’t rush anything” Mo Yan said and gave him the said scroll.
"We done all we owed realms and more, let us be as we wish and don’t make a mess of it”
"Dong Hua or Feng Jiu?” Zhe Yan asked after reading the statement.
Mo Yan: “who knows! They become so much like each other that we can't be sure of the identity of either anymore” he paused a little, “just let them be as they asked for, not that we can do anything about it even if we wish to.”
Zhe Yan sighed: say that to your discipline, the second she understands the real meaning she will explode.
Mo Yan: well, there is no need for her to understand.
Ze Yan toughed about the idea for a moment, Mo Yan has a point, even if they rush after Feng Jiu and Dong Hua they didn't know where they went or is there any time to find them, even if they catch them who can make those two change their minds.
Mo Yan gave him a moment to think then continued: heavenly father at his last words told me he finally will be rejoined with heavenly mother. No one knows what is beyond this life, as immortals we don't have a second or third life but what is this nothingness we heard about, no one knows. I think if father was happy to see mother and if Dong Hua decided to accompany Feng Jiu, then maybe there is hope for them to be together, wherever they are now.
Bai Zhen who was listening to them finally understood what they considered about, taking a step toward Mo Yan he said in a pale face and unsteady voice: what do you mean by nothingness? I thought they left to live in seclusion.
Zhe Yan sighed deeply, in his desperate try at figuring things out he forgot that Bai Zhen is present and hearing their conversation.
None of the both answered Bai Zhen so he thought the worst of the worst, kneeling down he murmured: that silly girl. How could she do this to us, what am I supposed to tell her father?
It seems the knelt down figure of Bai Zhen was what it took to bring Ze Yan to his mind, he sat across Bai Zhen and put his hand on his shoulder: Zen Zen you heard Mo Yan, probably they are at much more ease than they had while they were here. And to be honest it's our selfish desire to keep them here alongside ourselves and separate from each other if they can be together some other place far away from us.
Bai Zen looked up at Ze Yan's face, his eyes teary and sad, he loved Feng Jiu like his own child and losing her wasn't easy for him but he still managed to tell what was right for the girl. He sighed deeply and shook his head: she was the most powerful goddess for a long time and we all ruled under her region but no matter how powerful, she was and will be our little Jiue, the life she forced to live in wasn't fair for her but still how I can be happy... we not going to see her again, if they were gone in seclusion there was a hope that one day they come back but there is no return of nothingness.
Bai Zhen murmured the last few words and Ze Yan only offered a sad smile: think it this way Zen Zen, they are too happy to remember to come back.
The scene wasn't just playing there, the other members of the family and friends shared the same sad feelings. Bai Qian makes the most tearful statement: I'm much older than her. How can she be gone sooner than me, how I live happily knowing Xia Jiu isn't here anymore?
Her words sent a cold wave over others, that was true, Dong Hua was an old god almost as old as time, of course his absence was a great loss but the old god fashion of life gives others the feelings that he never is here yet he is always here! On the contrary, Feng Jiu was a young goddess, so noisy that you never could mix her absence and her presence, even after she became a wise and quiet queen, still her present was so obvious that no one could ignore it.
"Let's just imagine that they are traveling and are happily together" Bai Zen said this with a heavy heart.
"I agree, and let their resident stay as it is right now, for them to return whenever they wish" Ze Yan added to his words.

"Where is that palace mother?" the little boy asked, pulling at her mother's sleeve.
"Ah, that's Taichen palace, the resident of Dong Hua Dijun." Answered mother.
"But who is Dong Hua Dijun?" asked the boy.
"He was the master of the earth and heavens." Answered mother with a sad smile.
"Where is he now? Is he traveling like great grandfather?'' The boy became more interested in the matter.
“No, he is in seclusion with your great cousin Feng Jiu” answered his mother.
The little boy didn’t ask anymore, for an unknown reason every time that his cousin's name came up his family become sad, he didn’t want to make her mother sad so he didn’t ask any further question but he wished to know so the next day he skip his study and went to the palace of day before. He was staring doubtfully at the door of the palace when it moved from inside and a young man came out, he didn't know the man but it seems the man knew him because he bowed: your highness, how can I assist you?
"Who are you" the little boy asked.
"Oh, I'm Zong Lin, the steward of Taichen Palace" said the man bowing again.
"So you can answer me?'' The little boy seems excited.
Zong Lin smiled: answer you about what, your highness?
Little Boy: Who is Dong Hua Dijun and why is he with my cousin?
Zong Lin wasn't sure of what he heard, it was the first time someone didn't know Dijun: your highness I'm sure you learned about Dijun in your study books a lot.
Boy: emm, I don't like to read.
"hh" …. Zong Lin was quite speechless, the crown prince of heaven, the son of heavenly lord A'li and grandson of heavenly lord Ye Hua didn't like to read, this kid got after whom? For a second he thought the boy took after his fox family but the most negligent one of the foxes was Queen Feng Jiu and even she knew everything about Dijun, well almost she only knew about him… at least at first.
"Ayy, you become sad too, why does everyone become sad when they hear my cousin's name?" Zong Lin heard the boy and felt his little hand pulling at his robe, he looked down and smiled a little before bowing in front of him: "your highness one day will know everything but for now just know we are safe because of the two people you just mentioned."

"Heavenly lord you are here again." Said Zong Lin while bowing, although his voice was unapproving yet he was smiling. For past thousands of years since he came here to found out who is Dong Hua Dijun he befriended with Zong Lin, he even ask him for several time to come and join him in his own place and took it's under his control but Zong Lin stayed loyal to a missing Dijun, he still hoped that one day Dijun will appeared with a little red nine tail fox in his arms and without say anything take his seat and drink his tea while patting his fox. He smiled, actually there were a lot of people who believe this way and to be honest as long as there is someone who remembers the previous lord of heaven and earth and his fox, the two of them are here to live and secure.

Well the first volume is done! 
My first idea was a single volume story and I planned to assign two or three chapters to what we read till now and then shift to what will come from now on! but as I write, it appeared to take more than two chapters to tell all I want to tell! so, since I'm not good with long stories I decided to break it down to two volumes.
The final ending is happy! I really don't like sad endings, and this volume was needed for next to happen!
let's take a few days and I will publish the next chapter in a week.
