Dijun: did I?

She smiled then continued: but I don't want to disturb the third prince and steal his competitor so maybe I can bring my friend of heaven Cheng Yu too, then you will have someone to play and chat with.
Lian Song almost jumped out of excitement: your highness should come often, I don't mind giving my seat to you at all. And I'm sure since dijun promised you he will keep his words.
Noticing the deathly stare of Dijun he looked himself out.
Dijun: bother to explain?
Feng Jiu: like I told you after the banquet that I will tell you later, what so surprising.
Dijun: Is that mean I promise to teach you?
Feng Jiu: no, but you were going to help me, and I thought it's the best way. I know we can't "be" together but it doesn't mean that we can't be together. If I come to you more often and you don't kick me out everybody will understand how high is my position so if some day they try to hurt my aunt I can defeat them without much trouble.
Dijun took his time watching her face before answering: are you sure you are doing this for your aunt?
Feng Jiu: and the future heir of Ching Chu
Dijun: and?
Feng Jiu: third prince.
Dijun: and?
Feng Jiu: Cheng Yu
Dijun: and?
Feng Jiu: you.
Dijun: and?
Feng Jiu: I can't recall anybody else.
Dijun: interesting, I can't recall granting your wish either.
Feng Jiu: oh I forget, and for heavenly lord, otherwise I had to defeat him with my sword.
Dijun: then maybe it's better you leave and start practicing
Feng Jiu leaned her face to her palm and caressed his face with her eyes for a while then whispered: I can defeat all of them with my sword but can't help my own heart without seeing you.

He showed a rare smile and rearranged the chess board in silence.

She was delaying what she knew she had to do day by day. She did make her position stable with regular visits to Taichan palace as she planned to and after a while was more at peace finding her uncle in law better than what she expected, now she has no other excuses and it was the time for her to think about her responsibility as a queen.
She wasn’t the little girl who once came to his palace and captured his heart, he knew it when he told her to leave at the entrance of heaven, after then every time she came to him he could see her changes. She needed some time and he gave it to her, enjoying the little time that they had.
That afternoon, after almost seven months of her lessons of Go, she came and found him near the lotus pond of his palace, walking toward him slowly, how ironic of the place and the event. Watching his face, her eyes full of love and miss, she reached him and hugged him silently.
"Feng Jiu what are you doing?" he knew what she was doing yet he asked her to show some rejection.
"just for once, just this once." She whispered and sensed his arms settling around her waist, "if he was hugging her it was the last time indeed" she thought.
She was about to leave him he knew the day was near, it was the main reason he let her spend time in his palace for the last few months, she needed to be ready and now she was.
"what is it little fox?" Dijun asked her while stroking her hair.
"I'm going for mortal realms before taking my throne completely"
He once told her she should understand his unsaid words and she answered she does, today he understood her unsaid words as well, she will not come back to him as his little fox and no matter what he really feel he couldn't decline her motive, tightening his arms around her he whispered: be good little fox.

The show that takes place in Taichan palace never reached out, no matter how huge the news could be, the scene was so sentimental to be told. The mortal realm had more than two million different worlds, Ching Chu's royal family, since her great grandfather, had the right to choose between 101, 1001, 1091, 1901 or all the worlds to go and get experience before taking their throne, her aunt was an exception since she was a disciple of Kunlun mountain and after that had to take care of her shifu's body, but because she didn't go down there Feng Jiu was free to choose the same too. Her grandfather thought it's better for female monarchs of their kingdom to not go the same way their men go, yet she came one day and told him that she is up to the opposite.
Feng Jiu chose one world after the other, spending 80 mortal years in each, travelling around it every few years and after 80 years jumped to the next world by chance, she decided to choose just by chance so no one can track her down. She didn't say how many worlds she is going to experience, but her family was expecting for her return after 8080 immortal days, which was her first option but to their surprise she didn't come back. 
The next option was returning at 80080 days after she left and it seemed so long but it was what her father chose and now it seems the daughter too, the Bai family were proud of their youngest member. Yet again she didn't show up, Bai Qian teased her second brother that his daughter wanted to beat him so she chose the third choice, but another 90 world should be done and Feng Jiu wasn't there. 
Bai Zhi laughed and told the little fox want to reach her grandfather so she would be back after expressing 1901 worlds, they just needed to be more patient but when she didn't come back the Bai clan felt worried for the first time, maybe something happened to their little one and they missed it. Zhe Yan assured them that her star is all shining and she is just fine, she just doesn't want to come back yet, she wants to be the only one who goes through every mortal world, well except for Dong Hua, but no one mentions this fact.
While Bai family kept hoping for her to return soon and getting disappointed, Dong Hua spent his days in total silence like before Feng Jiu walked in his life, he knew she would not come back till the very end of mortal's world and he had to wait for 438356 years to see his little fox again, which will not be the same who left.
He did lose her for good.
