Liliana apparated into her dorm room, her mind still reeling with everything that had happened with Remus. She tried not to let the guilt creep in, but it was getting harder. Opening the door, she found Estelle and Marissa lounging on the steps leading to the girls' dorm.
"Hey," she greeted, her voice a little too casual. "So... you know, Remus and I kind of made it official."
Her friends exchanged looks before bursting into laughter.
"Finally!" Estelle said, smirking. "You got the cat in the bag."
"Now all you have to do is flip the switch tonight," Marissa added with a knowing wink.
Liliana forced a laugh, but her thoughts were miles away. Yeah, flip the switch, she repeated in her head, the weight of it pressing down on her. The truth was, she liked him—liked him way more than she should, considering the bet. If she didn’t lose him in the next ten days, she’d lose the bet. But then again, she could still be with him afterward, right? As long as he never found out. If Remus discovered the truth, it would ruin everything between them.
In her head, the mantra started repeating: I’m not attached. I’m not attached. I don’t like him. This is just a bet.
As she turned to head up the stairs, she ran into Regulus, who seemed to materialize out of nowhere.
"Where are you going?" he asked, his tone neutral but curious.
"I’m going to a Quidditch match with Remus," she answered, keeping her voice steady.
Regulus sighed, running a hand through his dark hair. "I knew it was only a matter of time before you got taken away too."
Liliana frowned, stepping closer. "What do you mean?"
"My brother hangs out with those idiots," Regulus muttered, "and now you’re joining them."
Without thinking, Liliana wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a hug. "I love them, but nothing could replace you, Reggie. Nothing."
For a moment, Regulus stood stiffly, then his arms circled her back, giving her a reluctant squeeze. When she pulled away, she offered him a small smile and headed upstairs to change.

When Liliana returned, she was decked out head-to-toe in Holyhead Harpies gear—bright green and gold from her scarf to the cap on her head. She couldn’t help but grin as she twirled in front of the girls, who immediately burst into laughter.
"Okay, okay, this is too much!" Marissa managed between giggles. Even Regulus, sitting on the common room couch, couldn’t contain his amusement.
"You look ridiculous," he said, shaking his head.
"It’s called team pride!" Liliana retorted with a grin.
A knock at the door interrupted them. Liliana opened it to find Remus standing there, wearing a Chudley Cannons hat and a casual jacket. She gasped dramatically, laughing. "No way. We support opposite teams?"
Remus shrugged, a sheepish smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah, looks like it."
Liliana stepped aside to let him in, glancing around. "Where’s James and Lily?"
"They decided to stay back and study," Remus explained. "James is trying to impress Lily by focusing on the Charms test next week, so they gave the tickets to Sirius and Peter. But Peter's girlfriend didn’t want to come, so it’s just Sirius tagging along."
Liliana grinned, her mind flashing to Regulus. She turned toward him, mischief in her eyes. "Can Regulus come?"
Sirius, who had appeared behind Remus, seemed to hesitate. His brother glanced at him uncertainly, but after a moment, Sirius relented. "Sure, why not."
Liliana beamed, hopping over to Regulus and pulling the Holyhead Harpies hat off her own head, placing it on his. "Perfect. Now we’re all set."
Together, they left the common room, making their way to the portkey that would transport them to the stadium. The atmosphere at the game was electric, and Liliana’s spirits soared.

Remus’s POV
Remus tried to focus on the match, but he found his attention wandering to Liliana more than once. She kept screaming, but he had to admit that she looked radiant, her face alight with excitement as the Holyhead Harpies took an early lead. She and Regulus celebrated loudly with each goal, both wrapped up in their shared enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, Remus watched in dismay as the Cannons struggled to catch up. Every time they lost possession of the Quaffle, his heart sank a little further. Even Sirius, normally the loudest in any Quidditch match, was oddly quiet, his gaze occasionally flickering toward Regulus, who was engrossed in the game with Liliana.
As the match wore on, the score evened out. The tension in the stadium was palpable—whoever scored next would win. Remus’s knuckles were white as he gripped the edge of his seat, praying the Cannons would make a comeback. Just as the Cannons’ Seeker shot toward the Snitch, Liliana nudged him.
"Remus," she whispered, tapping his shoulder. "I’m feeling a bit parched. Do you mind getting me a bottle of Butterbeer?"
He tore his eyes from the match, glancing down toward the stadium shop. It was at least three flights down. He’d miss the deciding moment for sure. "Can it wait until the match is over?" he asked, trying to keep his tone polite.
She pouted slightly, her eyes pleading. "Please? My throat’s dry, and I can’t enjoy the rest of the match like this."
Remus hesitated. The Cannons were so close—but Liliana’s expression softened him. "Alright, alright," he muttered, rising from his seat. "I’ll be right back."
As he made his way down the stairs, the roar of the crowd grew louder. His heart raced, and he knew something was happening on the field. He pushed his way through the people standing in line, trying to catch a glimpse of the game through the gaps in the stadium, but it was no use.
By the time he reached the bottom and grabbed the bottle, a deafening cheer erupted. Remus spun around, panic rising. He sprinted back up the stairs, his mind racing. Did he miss it?
When he finally reached his seat, his worst fear was confirmed. Liliana was standing, laughing with Regulus as they celebrated even though their team had lost. The Holyhead Harpies had lost—but the Chudley Cannons had scored the final point.
Liliana smiled at him, holding up her Butterbeer. "Thanks, Remus!"

Liliana’s POV
As Remus handed her the Butterbeer, she couldn’t help but feel a little bad. She’d planned it, of course—asking him to go when she knew something big was about to happen. It wasn’t like she wanted him to miss the moment, but... it was a small victory for her, wasn’t it?
Her smile faltered slightly as she realized how much she actually didn’t want to win like this. But she quickly brushed the thought aside, raising the bottle in a mock toast.
"Here’s to team rivalry," she said with a smirk.
Remus just sighed, sitting back down and shaking his head.

And here it starts, Remus will slowly start to feel his feelings are conflicted by the fact that Ana made him miss his teams winning score
