There are three papers in ICT; two practical's and one theory paper. The practical papers make up most of your grade. 

Aside from all that technical information which you NEED to know and is freely available online, I am here to give you some actionable tips 

First of all, DON'T freak out about the practical's. I know it may seem like alot to do in too little time but with practice you will get there and your time-management would improve 

Secondly, by the end of grade 9 or the beginning of grade 10 you SHOULD know what an ICT practical paper looks like and that you will sit two practical exams. ( The sooner you know, the better as it means the sooner you will have the courage to do past papers).

Three, you will want to burn your textbooks when studying for ICT theory especially in grade 10, just a warning. Hang in there dude and learn the theory in the way that is most suited to your learning style.

Four, watch Evan's Chikasa and Yassar Ahmad. Why you might ask and who in the world is Evans Chikasa? That I will tell you shortly 

Yahmad is great, he teaches well and certainly better than most people's ICT teachers which will SAVE THEM. Yahmad has done ALOT Of past papers ( before his channel got taken down) from '23 specimen to 2016 ( although in the vids of the 2016 and '17 there is NO voice, grr) ( helps with practice frr).

Evans Chikasa is RLLY an unsung hero cuz he  helped me cuz I got BORED of YAHMAD because  his voice is MONOTONOUS and I put him on 1.75x or 2x lolll. ( I ALSO put Chikasa on that speed as well but cuz I was DESPERATE to get through the vids faster and NOT cuz his voice is monotonous  [he just speaks slow]). 

Evans Chikasa is SO funny and his accent is amazing!! 

Fun fact: I didn't do as many past papers by myself as I watched YAHMAD or Evans Chikasa doing them in both my mocks and actual exams and I don't regret it cuz it helped me get through the papers MUCH faster and learn ( cuz I STILL had gaps in my knowledge).  For the record, in my mocks I got an A grade ( I DIDNT sit the theory paper [it's a LONG story, health related, I WASNT being a pussy or smth]).

Znotes was GREAT for the theory but also useful for the practicals though not as useful as the vids obviously. ( Znotes is ALSO great for other subjects).
