"Ok...what about this one?" JJ asked holding up a black dress.

Emily and Aaron had agreed on going to the movies together. Since it was a movie, neither of them would have to really talk to one another, and they never had to worry about awkward silence. Aaron said he was going to pick Emily up at 8:30 for their movie. It was now 8:12, and Emily was almost ready; except she didn't have an outfit yet.

The brunette sighed at her friend holding the dress. "You know how I feel about dresses." Emily said crossing her arms.

JJ put the dress back. "You wear skirts though."

    "That's different."

    "How?"

"It just is. How about we compromise, and I'll wear a skirt."

JJ quickly looked through Emily's closet and pulled out a black turtle neck and a tan plaid skirt. "I'll leave you to get ready for your date. Let me know if you need to be picked up early." JJ said as she closed the door behind her.

Emily quickly got dressed in her outfit, pairing it with some doc martens and decided to keep her hair straight. She took one last look at herself in a mirror just as the doorbell rang. She made her way down the stairs and opened the door to reveal Aaron standing on the other side wearing a grey shirt, black jeans, and a navy blue bomber jacket.

He gave her a shy smile before roaming Emily's body with his eyes. "You look beautiful." He said smiling a little wider showing off his dimples.

Emily blushed and smiled up at Aaron. She couldn't remember the last time a guy had made her blush. "Ready to go?" He asked her.

"Yeah. Let's go." Emily said closing the front door behind her.

The couple was about half way through the movie, and from what they thought, the date seemed to be going well. It was awkward, as most first dates are, but if there wasn't a movie playing, Emily and Aaron could sit in a confortable silence with one another.

During one of the more quiet moments of the movie, Aaron could hear someone talking behind them. He restrained himself from saying anything for Emily's sake, but it still proved difficult. The person continued to talk for several minutes. Aaron couldn't hold back anymore. He around to the person talking with rage inside of him. "Can you stop talking? We're trying to watch a movie."

When Aaron said this, Emily felt a sense of deja vu. Then it hit Emily like a train. She recognized Aaron's voice. It was the voice from the movie theater a week ago that had told her to "sit down and shut up."

Anger began to course through Emily's veins. Before either of them could fully register what she was doing, Emily had got up and left the theater they were in. Confused, Aaron quickly followed after her into the hallway. "Emily!" He shouted after her, but she kept walking. He walked faster to catch up with her and grabbed her shoulder. She quickly turns around, slapping his hand away.

Aaron saw the anger in Emily's eyes; he just wasn't sure why it was there in the first place. "It was you, wasn't it?" She hissed.

Aaron was a smart guy. He knew exactly what Emily was talking about, but like the idiot he was in the moment, he decided to play dumb. Aaron tilted his head in confusion. "What?" He lied. He hated lying, but maybe there was a chance he could save the situation.

"Don't play dumb, Aaron!" She threw her face into her hands. "I can't believe I let you take me in a date."

No chance. Now Aaron was beginning to get annoyed. His stubbornness and pride took over his body. He wanted to defend himself. "You and your friend were talking during the movie. What was I supposed to do?"

Emily scoffed and crossed her arms. "Be the bigger person and don't say anything. You could've reacted more appropriately."

Just as Aaron opened his lips to speak, a guy came out of the movie theater. He was tall like Aaron but had blonde hair and wasn't as well built. He walked up to the two with a concerned expression. "What's going on here? I heard you two arguing." He said looking back and forth between Emily and Aaron.

"We're fine." Aaron said coldly. "This is none of your business."

"Please, just leave us alone." Emily said turning her attention to the man.

"Are you sure?" The man asked.

"Yes, we're fine."

The guy took a step closer to Emily and a suggestive smile grew on his face. Aaron noticed the way he looked Emily up and down, and he didn't appreciated it. "Let me take you somewhere more fun. It seems like you'd have much more fun with me." He smirked.

Emily scowled at him before a sarcastic smirk appeared on her face. "Nice try, buddy, but I'm good where I am. Leave us alone." She said turning her attention back to Aaron.

She felt the guy grab her by the wrist. Aaron was about to step in, but Emily quickly turned around grabbing the man's wrist, breaking herself free. She twisted his arm, causing him to yell out in pain as she rammed his face into the wall. Her grip remained tight on his arm, twisting it more to cause more pain. Aaron stared at Emily in disbelief.

"If you ever touch me like that again, I'll break your arm shoulder, got it?" Emily hissed in his ear.

She let him off the wall and backed away. The guy quickly ran off down the hallway. Emily turned back to face Aaron who was still shocked. "Have a good night." She said in a condescending tone with a glare, leaving Aaron standing in the hallway of the movie theater with practically no idea of what had just happened. The only thing he was sure of was that he had completely screwed himself over with Emily.
