New York City is a very hectic place. Ask anyone, they'll tell ya. And don't believe anyone who says otherwise cuz they're clearly lying. It is a very hectic place indeed, and it was no place for a small dog on her own.

Panting heavily as she ran, Daisy looked around frantically, searching for anything that looked familiar. But everything looked the same. The streets, the buildings, even the pedestrians that the Shih Tzu kept weaving through. Daisy hated to admit it but she was lost.

Veering off into an alley on her left, Daisy took this opportunity to sit down and catch her breath. She had managed to lose Ozone and the Alley Cats ages ago so that was good, she could have this moment to herself.

Staring at her paws, Daisy found herself deep in thought. How much more of this game could she take? The Flushed Pets were clearly taking this seriously. Everywhere she went, they were there with an ambush ready to spring. She was all by herself now and had been for quite a few hours now. There was no more help out here, she had to figure out her next game plan and she had to do so quickly. And so, the Shih Tzu made her decision.

"Whatever it takes," Daisy murmured to herself, her heart of steel beating in her chest, "I'll make it home."
