Every year there was a faculty meeting after the feast, and this was the reason the prefects were the ones to lead the students to their common room and dorms. Aurora wasn't nessacarily required to say, but she liked to be informed of the year ahead. This year though, Dumbledore had polietly asked if she would stay for the meeting. Aurora had been nerveous the whole meal as she had an idea as to why she was asked to stay. Aurora sat in her cozy bed finishing up the last of her schedule. She was jam packed this year as she was hoping to get the check-ins done by mid-October. She would begin meeting first years the next morning at breakfast and she wouldn't finish until 8:30. She went by year and then alphabetical order. She had a scheduled check in with every student at Hogwarts though only the first years were required to attend. Aurora wasn't quite sure how they would be punished if they didn't but it wasn't really her concern as nobody had ever neglected to show. Students could always ask to meet up if they ever had an issue and she always left the hour after lunch open when scheduling her check-ins. This not only gave her a break, but left room in case of emergencies. Aurora sighed. She would give the other teachers her schedules in the morning, but for now sleep.
