Halloween 2021 - Casey Home:
Matt's POV: As I stand in the kitchen of me and Gabby's home shortly after waking up with me and Gabby's newborn baby boy, I smile as I hold him in the lil' baby wrap that me and Gabby use for our babies. God, it seems like it was just yesterday that I was holding Sofia in a wrap like this. But now, I'm holding our lil' boy Matteo in here instead. And god, he just looks really comfortable right now. Going to rub his back, I just smiled as I looked at his lil' face while bending down to kiss his forehead. "Hey lil' man. I'm your daddy. And today's your first Halloween."

That's when I heard my lil' princess come downstairs. "Daddy, who are you talking to?" Turning around to look at her, I smiled when I saw her in her fairy costume. She has been wearing it non stop since we bought it for her two weeks ago. Now, she's addicted to it. "Oh, I'm just talking to Matteo." Going to walk over to her, I smiled as I bent down and then went to show her where Matteo was. "He's here on daddy's chest all cuddled up to him." Sofia smiled when I told her that and just got close to the both of us. "Can I do that daddy?" I shook my head and smiled.

"You've already done this sweetie. When you were this small. Can you believe that you were this small once?" Sofia shook her head when I said that. "No way." I smiled and nodded when she said that. "That's because your growing up...a bit too fast for daddy." Sofia smiled when I said that before coming to wrap her arms around me. "Listen, how about we make you some breakfast?" That's when I heard Gabby come downstairs. "I got it Matt, you can..." I shook my head. "Babe, you remember what Dr. Asher said. You need to rest." Gabby smiled and agreed.

"Okay." I smiled and agreed with her before turning to look at Sofia. "Hey Sofia, how about you go to the living room. Daddy will turn the TV on for you." Sofia smiled and agreed with me. "Thanks daddy." Going to hug her, I smiled as I held her close to me before looking at her. God, she is so adorable. "Be careful princess. Just go relax on the couch okay sweetie?" She smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "Okay daddy." I smiled and agreed with her when she told me that, watching her walk away to the living room so that she can go relax on the couch.

Meanwhile, I went to get up and just smiled as I went to walk over to Gabby in the kitchen. Getting close to her, I smiled as I went to wrap my arms around her. Meanwhile, she went to look at Matteo. "He comfortable there?" I nodded and smiled when she asked me that. "Of course he is. He's in his daddy's arms." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. She then went to run her hands up my back and smiled as she went to kiss me softly. "Just letting you know...I'm going with you and Sofia to go trick or treating later. I'm not missing out...first year."

I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she told me that, liking that idea. "To tell you the truth, I love that idea. That just means that I get to carry my lil' guy like this even more." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. She then went to look down at Matteo and smiled at me. "He's so cute when he's in your arms like that." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. Meanwhile, I went to go look down at Matteo again and just smiled at her. "Did I ever say that I l ove the fact we both agreed on the name so easily. We both got our wishes."

Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "I wanted to name him after you..." I nodded and smiled. "And I wanted another Hispanic name to match Sofia. And this is a great way to do it. Lil' Matteo Andres Casey." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. Going to get close to me, she wrapped her arms around me and just smiled as she wrapped her arms around me even more. God, I love her so much and I'm so glad that we're here right now. Going to kiss her forehead softly, I smiled as I went to look at Sofia when we both heard Matteo cry.

Looking down at him, I started to realize that we got a bit too close to each other. "I think we were squeezing him." Gabby laughed and smiled when I told her that. "Yeah, that makes sense But still, I'm glad that we have him now." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. Going to kiss her one last time, I smiled at her. "Listen, how about you go sit with Sofia and relax? I got Matteo and breakfast. If he needs to eat, we can take him out." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "I like that idea. See you soon." I smiled and agreed with her.

"Of course babe." Watching Gabby walk away, we both smiled at each other before I turned my attention to Matteo. Looking down at him, I went to rub his back again and just smiled at our lil' guy. "Hey you. You ready to help daddy make your mommy and sister some pancakes." Sofia smiled when I said that. "YAY! PANCAKES!" I smiled and agreed with Sofia when she said that. "Remember baby girl, you have to be quiet for Matteo's ears." Sofia nodded and smiled at me when I said that, going back to watching TV. That's when I saw Gabby looking at me.

Winking at her, we both smiled because this was our dream life. We have two amazing kids and each other. And to tell you the truth, that was all we needed in life. This was the dream we have always wanted and I couldn't be happier than I am right now. But now, back to breakfast.
