A Few Hours Later (2:30 AM):

Matt's POV: As I wake up in the middle of the night, I look around in bed to notice that I'm alone in bed. Gabby isn't anywhere to be seen and that was odd. Especially since I didn't hear the kids in here. Going to sit up, I went to check the time and saw that it was 2:30 in the morning. And that could only mean one thing. Gabby was up with the kids, feeding them somewhere other than in our bed. I don't know why she always does this but...she should be here. Taking a breath, I sighed as I went to get up out of bed so that I could try and find my family.  Most likely, downstairs. Going to wipe my eyes, I went to grab my shirt at the end of the bed as I walked out of our room so that I could make my way downstairs and find Gabby and the kids.

Walking out, I went to walk up to the stairs and then walked down right away while putting my shirt on.  But, I didn't rush this. I decided to take things slow since I didn't want to wake Gabby up if she was asleep. But the truth was that she was just sitting in Sofia's nursery while feeding Marcus in her arms. "Gabby?" Looking up at me, Gabby smiled. "Hey, go back to bed." I shook my head when she told me that before coming to walk into Sofia's nursery. "How long have you been awake?" Sighing, she looked at me. "Maybe 30 minutes. I'm just finishing with Marcus." I agreed with her when she said that before walking over to Sofia's crib to see her sleeping there. "You want me to grab that bottle there and feed Sofia for you?" Gabby shook her head.

"I got it Matt. Just go upstairs." I sighed when she said that before going to walk up to her. Crouching down, I went to put my hands on her legs and just looked at her. "Gabby, let me help you okay? I'm your husband and these are my kids. Babe, you don't have to do everything yourself." Gabby sighed and agreed with me when I told her that. "I know...sorry about this." I shook my head when Gabby told me that. "Hey, don't apologize. You're a great mom and I love how amazing of a mom you are." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that. "But you aren't in this alone. Gabby, I'm in this with you from the start this time. These are our kids. Please, don't let me sleep if the kids need to wake up and feed. Baby, I love you and I'm in this with you."

Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. Leaning in, I went to kiss her and just smiled as I took it slow with her. "I love you." I nodded and smiled when Gabby told me that. "I love you too." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "I love you too...and I'm sorry that I didn't wake you up." I agreed with her when she told me that. "Well listen, do you want me to feed Sofia for you?" Gabby nodded and smiled when I asked her that. "I'd like that." I just smiled when she said that, getting up before walking over to the fridge we have in here. Bending down, I went to grab a bottle of milk for her before making my way to Sofia's crib. Looking at her, I smiled as I went to pick her up in my arms. "Hi baby girl, you ready for daddy to feed you?"

Gabby smiled when I said that. "I swear, I love it when you talk to her like that." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that and just smiled as I went to go make my way over to the rocking chair that was next to Gabby's. Yes, we have two rocking chairs in here for the kids. Going to sit down, I smiled as I went to hold her close to me before going to put her bottle close to her. "Hey baby girl, you ready to take a bottle from daddy?" Moving the bottle towards her lips, I just smiled as I went to start feeding her. Turning to look at Gabby as I fed Sofia, I smiled. "How are you feeling while feeding Marcus?" Gabby smiled at me. "It feels great to tell you the truth. He just feeds so easily." I nodded and agreed with Gabby, smiling at her.

"So, you think we're going to be able to sleep much when we get upstairs?" Gabby nodded when I asked her that and smiled at me. "Yeah, to tell you the truth...I'm pretty tired." I agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "I promise that I'll hold you as long as you need me to." Gabby smiled when I told her that and just agreed with me. "You know, we could always have sex before we fall asleep?" Gabby laughed and shook her head. "No. I'm not ready to go for our son." I agreed with her when she said that. "I've been dreaming about him lately." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "Me too. But right now, we need to relax with each other. We are't ready for another baby when we already have the twins." I agreed with Gabby.

Turning to look at Sofia, I smiled as I bent down to kiss her forehead softly. "God, you are so adorable baby girl. Maybe tonight you can sleep on daddy's chest...how does that sound lil' girl." Gabby then looked at me. "Well, that's not going to happen. That spot is already taken." Turning my head, I went to look at her and just smiled when she told me that. "Oh is it now?" Gabby smiled when I asked her that. "Yeah, that would be me." I smirked and just agreed with Gabby when she told me that, going to reach out for her hand. Going to grab my hand, Gabby smiled at me. "God, I am so glad that we are laughing even in the middle of the night." Gabby agreed with me and smiled. "And I'm happy that we have both of the kids. This is a dream come true."

I smiled and just agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Now, this is perfect. But seriously...we need to finish feeding them so that we can get upstairs. Now, can you please remember that you can feed them upstairs?" Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "I promise. I'm sorry that I keep coming down here." I shook my head when she told me that. "Don't be sorry babe, just stop doing it. Gabby, I'm your husband and these kids' father. I get to help you take care of them because I love you all." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. "I love you too and I'm so happy that we're here with the kids right now. This is a dream come true after all." I nodded and smiled when Gabby told me that because I felt the same way.

"And you're my dream come true." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "Maybe today we can take the kids out." I agreed with Gabby. "I like that idea. Maybe we can go to Molly's for lunch." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. "I actually really like that idea. That sounds like a lot of fun." I smiled and just agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Well listen, we need to keep feeding these kids. After that, I want to go back to bed. We're going to be tired in the morning." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "Oh, then I think that we can sleep in today." Gabby smiled and agreed. "We should just invite our friends over. Sure, we say that we want them to wait to meet Marcus but..." Gabby agreed with me.

"Yeah, I have a feeling that people are going to want to come over as soon as possible." I nodded and smiled when Gabby told me that. "Well, we can call them later this morning and tell that they can come over at lunch. However, they need to bring us Molly's." I smirked and agreed with Gabby when she told me that. "Maybe first I should invite my sister over so that she can meet her new nephew." Gabby agreed with me when I told her that. "Does she know about Marcus?" I agreed with her. "I told her over the phone. She sends her congratulations." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "That's great. So maybe we should invite our family over before we invite our friends over." I agreed with Gabby. "Then let's do that. Antonio, his kids, Christie and Violet."

Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. "Now, let's just get these kids fed. After that, we can go upstairs and eat again." I nodded and just smiled when Gabby told me that. "Yes, let's do that." Smiling at her, I just thought about cuddling up to her in bed like I always loved doing. This was perfect and exactly what I wanted to do tonight. God, I love her so much.
