Xi Gu's Diary 01

Dear Diary,
This is embarrassing. Hao Ting bought me this diary and suddenly told me to start writing in it.
Said it's some kind of writing challenge and once I completed this book, we'll seal this diary and the one Hao Ting wrote in a time capsule and then read it again when we are much much older. He doesn't say when but I figured since it's something he is doing as well, then I guess I'll just tag along.

So if Hao Ting you are reading this many years later, I just want to, first and foremost, thank you.

Thank you for being in my life and thank you for making my days count.

I love you so so so so so so so so much.

I don't really say that a lot but I hope I did manage to convey to you how I felt by the way I acted around you. I am the luckiest person for meeting you.

You gave me meaning to life and you gave me a family. I'm so grateful to know what is it like to have a cute little sister and how is it like to joke with a mom and behave awkwardly with a shy dad. Of course, now I am grateful to have a doting partner like you.

Hao Ting, by the time you read this, I wouldn't know what will happen to both of us. My biggest wish will be for us to be reading all these cheesy entries together but if ever, by whatever reasons you are reading this by yourself, I want you to always have faith that I have loved you very much. It's a fact that will never change.

To the future me, if for whatever reason you are reading this by yourself, I want you to always keep Hao Ting as someone who has changed your life in your heart and always believe that he put his best efforts to love you. You owe him that much.

I am sorry I started the entry with such a serious note, it's really not my intention but I felt it's important to write first how important writing the following pages will be for me. The next pages will be details and stories of our lives together. Stories which made our days and this first page serves as a reminder for me, to you reading that, my thoughts and my feelings for Hao Ting will and forever stay true.

That and Hsiao Hao Ting, you better remember how you purposely try to distract me while I am writing this entry because you want to read it. See the messy handwriting? It's Hao Ting's fault.

I think I have to stop here and hid my diary before he finds it and reads it. Time capsule is probably his ploy to sneak read my thoughts but I wouldn't let him succeed.

Hsiao Hao Ting, you invaded my heart and took.

Wouldn't let you do the same with my diary even though you bought.

Ok, this is getting cheesy.
