“Why would you burn all my clothes?”

“Because you needed new ones. I can't let people see you dressed anyhow. You're my wife for goodness sake.” He threw the duvet that covered half his body, standing up.

He was wearing a black underwear and I tried my best not to look below his waist.

“So what am I going to wear, I don't think you expect me to walk around with a robe all day, do you?” My frown was more intense at that moment.

He sighed, walking towards his closet, opening it just to reveal the most beautiful set of clothes, mostly dominated by suits.

“I told someone to pick out your most beautiful and fair enough cloth so that's what you'd wear to go shopping today.” He spoke so indifferently, it only made my blood boil.

“You're so annoying, making Suzy miss out on the fun of going shopping with her sister.”

He picked out a beautiful grey shirt and black pants, dropping them neatly on the bed. “I think you can do more of that after her recovery, for now go get new clothes.”

“Can Rose tag along at least?”

He started towards a door I assumed to lead to the bathroom. “I couldn't care less.”

When he held the door knob, he turned his head right, probably only able to see me from his side glance. “Won't you take your leave or do you plan on staying here till I come from the shower?”

I immediately turned to leave. Why did he have to say that, he'd created images of himself in my mind that I didn't want.

I left his room, sauntering to mine. Once inside. I sat on the bed. So when was the person going to get my clothes.

I picked my phone that lay on the bed, dialing Rose's number.

“What's up?” Her voice echoed after the second ring.

“Are you busy today?”

“Hmm let me see, I do have some things to take care of, why?”

“I just want to know if you could go shopping with me today.”

“Shopping?”

“Apparently, Don says he doesn't want me dressed in my usual and completely normal style of dressing—”

“I get his point, you could dress terrible sometimes.”

I totally ignored her comment. “So he got all my clothes burned.” She chuckled. “And now I'm going to some mall to get clothes that'd show my wealth.”

“Wow,” she said dreamily, “you're so lucky.”

“So would you tag along?”

“Would you buy some stuff for me?”

“Yeah—”

“Send me your home address, I'd be there in a jiffy.” She cut me off, hanging up before I could say anything.

A knock came from the door. I guessed it was going to be whoever was with my clothes. “Come in.”

I stood up, elated at the fact I'd have something to wear.

The door opened and surprisingly, the person who walked in looked nothing like a maid. She was wearing a grey A line dress. She had straight and beautiful blonde waist length hair.

She was an epitome of beauty with perfectly shaped jaw and green eyes that made her even more breath-taking.

I noticed she was holding clothes I assumed was mine.

She gave me a warm smile. “Good morning Mrs Jones, I'm Hane Rodger, your personal assistant slash maid.”

“Personal assistant?”

“Yes, if you need anything, all you have to do is ring the bell beside your bed and I'd be at your service.”

Why on earth did I have a personal assistant or maid whatever. “But why? I mean why do I have a personal assistant.”

“You could also consider me a friend,” she continued totally ignoring my question, “if you ever want to talk to about anything, I'd be happy to offer a listening ear.”

“Wow, so the personal assistant has a personal assistant, cool.” The thought bought a smile to my face.

“I’m happy you're happy.” Creepy. She was standing like some kind of stature.

She walked over to me, handing me the clothes. “I'd be following you to buy all the stuff you want to buy.”

“Oh, that'd be nice.” I took the clothes from her. I took off the robe. I had a bra and underwear on so I just put on the grey shirt and blue jean trouser.

“You look great Mrs Jones.” She was still smiling.

“Oh thanks,” I checked myself in the mirror but I looked like my normal self, “you should call me Eri, Mrs Jones sounds weird.”

“Mrs Eri?”

“Nah, just Eri.”

“Oh, okay Eri.” I could sense she wasn't comfortable calling me by my name but I was sure she'd get used to it.

I turned to her. “You look beautiful by the way.”

She blushed a little, tugging her hair behind her ear. “Thank you.”

“How old are you?”

“I'm 23.” Wow, this was going to be my first time being close to someone who wasn't Suzy or Rose. Sweet.

“I can't believe I've been given the opportunity to shop in this huge and obviously classy place they call a mall.” Rose twirled around causing me to laugh.

She was right, this place was heavenly. I was sure whatever was sold here were very expensive and probably made from famous people.

“Yes, this is the place where most celebrities get their clothes.” Hane said.

“And you're certain I can spend as much amount of money I can because I want you to know that I'd probably be finishing your $500000.” Rose's excitement was evident all over her face.

“Oh dear, I'm not the one paying for this, it's Don who's paying.”

“Well then, what are we waiting for let's start shopping.”

I sighed. “I just wish Suzy was here.”

She touched my shoulder. “As soon as Suzy's recovered, we'd all go on a trip to maybe another country. Buy as many stuff we want, have as much fun we can have, okay?”

“Yeah, I guess.”

“Now let's get shopping! Woohoo! She ran to where I had no idea, but followed her.

We bought as many things we could buy not caring about the price of it. I mean he's about to be a trillionaire, let me enjoy from his wealth before we get a divorce.

I wished Suzy was present but either way, I'm happy she's safe. I would give her a visit tomorrow, I'm sure she'd be so confused staying alone in that hospital. Gosh, I miss her like crazy.
