Happy 4th of July!!!!

Lexi woke up to the bright light of the sun coming from the foggy windows along the wall over the bed.

She groaned as she sat on the edge of the bed, letting her feet dangle off as she put her pants back on.

"How you feeling?" Four walked up from behind Lexi and around the bed as she finished buttoning up her pants.

"Better." She replied as she fixed her hair.

"Good." Four placed something on the counter as Lexi played with the sleeves of the hoodie she's still wearing. Still no pants to. "Where's you go yesterday?" He turned to her.

"To see a friend." Lexi replied as Four felt the jealousy brew in his chest.

"It's getting a little boring for you here, is it?" Four questioned, putting his jacket on.

"My friend said that... he thinks Erudite is planning to overthrow Abnegation. Do you think they could do that?"

"Yeah, I do. I think it's possible. Depends how far they're willing to go."

"I'm worried about my sister." Lexi looks back down playing with the sleeves again in her lap.

"Yeah. But I think you got other things you need to worry about. Don't you?"

"No, you don't get it. I'm all my sister has left. She is and always will be my first priority." Lexi looks back up at him, making eye contact. "I should go." Lexi saying getting up and walking away.

Lexi walk into the cafeteria room and sat next to Cristina hugging her.

"Hey." Lexi said as she sat down.

"Hey, is that your sweater?" Cristina greeted then questioned.

"No." Lexi replied.

"So what happened to you last night?" Then someone placed their hand on Lexi's shoulder making her look at the hand and then the person.

"Lexi, can I talk to you for a second?" Al asked making Lexi's face drop. "Listen, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. I don't know what's wrong with me. Please, can you ever forgive me?" Lexi stood up and look up at Al.

"If I ever see you're stupid fuck face again, I promise I'll kill you myself. You got that?" Lexi raised her eyebrows.

"Lexi..."

"You needs stay away from me. You're just a little bitch." Lexi wasn't even close to shedding a tear she was just pissed as Al slightly nodded and walked away.

"I just can't believe he would do that." Will said as him, Lexi, Cristina and Tris all sat on Lexi's bed. Will sat in the corner between the wall and the pillar and Lexi sat in between his legs as she played with his fingers.

"Yeah, it's not like him at all." Cristina added as the four started to hear shouting.

"What's that?" Tris got up and they all went out to see them pulling someone out of the cannon. When Lexi saw it was Al she was taken back.

"Oh, my god!"

Cristina and Lexi stood next to each other while Tris was alittle in front of them with her mouth open.

Lexi needed time to think so she started walking through the tunnels when she saw Four walking towards her.

"Lexi." Lexi shook her head no and walked through another tunnel.

"Lexi!"

"Leave me alone." She didn't stop walking until Four grabbed her arm.

"I'm sorry about Al."

"That's cool." She made eye contact with Four.

"Don't think it's your fault he's dead. He made his own choice. He would've been factionless. He was not gonna pass that final test."

"I don't think it's my fault though and I'm probably not even going to pass the test either." Lexi face was stone cold, zero emotions and even Four couldn't read what she was thinking.

"Why do you say that?"

Lexi scoffed. "You know why and it's not like I pushed him so why would I think it's my fault?" Four nodded in response. "And as soon as all the others find out, they're gonna kill me."

"I'm not gonna let that happen."

Four brought Lexi to a testing room. "Shut the door." Four said as he got the serums ready and Lexi did as told. "You're gonna practice."

"In my fear landscape?" Lexi asked.

"No. In mine." Four replied as he took off his jacket. "We go in together."

"Have you ever done this before?"

"No, I haven't." Lexi walked closer to Four. "You sure you want to?"

"Why wouldn't I?"

Lexi scoffed. "I don't know. You haven't told me anything about yourself and how you're just gonna let me inside your head?"

"Are you afraid of that?"

"You're not?"

"No." Four answered then injected himself with the serum then held the side of Lexi's head and injected her.

Four sat Lexi down on the chair and placed a little sticky pad on her temple and the other one on his.

Lexi and four woke up only a long thin bridge connected between two buildings over the city.

"Fear of heights." Lexi looked at how high up they are. "I'm not surprised." She stood up as Four keep his grip on the polls that make up the bridge.

"It's not real. We could just jump."

"No." Four said getting up. "Divergent would jump. Dauntless would get to that building. If you wanna pass, if you want to avoid discovery, you have to do everything the way a Dauntless would do it. You have to find some tools, some method to survive." The two continued to walk to the building.

They got to the building and got trapped inside a metal box. It's started closing in on them.

"Fear of confinement. You have to find a way of stopping it. What would a Dauntless do?" Lexi found some nails on the floor and started shoving them in the crack so the wall would stop moving. "Good. Take your time. I'm just enjoying myself in this shrinking box." Four said as the box got smaller and he was basically on top of Lexi.

"Okay, you can stop complaining now." Lexi replied as the wall stopped closing in on them.

The box disappeared and they got up from crouching. There's a gun on the table and Four picks it up.

"As a Dauntless soldier, you have to follow orders you don't always agree with." Four started as her stood infront of a girl in a chair and Lexi watched.

"Who is she?"

"She's an innocent. I have to kill her." Four placed the gun to the girls forehead. "But I can never do it." The girl turned into Lexi. "Unless I look away." Four looked away and shot her then backed up into a room.

"Why are we in Abnegation?" Lexi asked.

"Your last fear is your worst fear. It lives in the deepest part of your mind."

Marcus walks down the stairs with a belt. "Marcus had a son. What was his name?"

"Tobias. Tobias. Tobias... Tobias..." multiple Marcus' surrounded Four. "Tobias... I'm just trying to help you to be better." One Marcus walked up to Four and Lexi.

Lexi saw he was about to swing and stopped him. "No!" Lexi yelled and Marcus and Four fought. Four punched Marcus in the face and the rest hit the ground to.
