previously: i ended up making it to class just in time and when i sat down the guy i bumped into was sitting next to me

when he sat down the teacher started to teach us it was in the middle of the class when i felt a vibrate in my pocket and i found out it was my phone good thing you couldn't hear it so i took it out of my pocket. it was a text from my little group chat with Sophia and Bella

Sophia: ooh new cutie looking at you.

Bella: yes you should totally look back at him and wink or something

Sophia: ew no that would make her look creepy you should send him a note

Bella: no

Sophia: just listen to me i know whats best

Bella: no you don't

Sophia: yes i do

Emily: both of you just shut up i'm not doing any of that

Bella: then find i call dibs

Sophia: Bella how do you call dibs when he probably has dibs on her

Emily: you make no sense Sophia

Bella: O.M.G hes writing something in his notebook look

Sophia: O.M.G it might be his number

Emily: no its just notes and we should be takes some to

Sophia: what we are taking notes look around smart ass

Emily: O.M.G hes gonna give me his number iv'e -

i was cut off in the middle of my text by the teacher taking my phone and asking "what do you think your doing on your phone" it was like she had an attitude already and i love making teachers mad its kinda fun Sophia Bella and i do that all the time.

"well i believe i was just texting my friends about how boring you are being today'' i said with sarcasm

Sophia and Bella was laughing in the background which made the teacher even more mad ''that's it you three have detention today after school"

i see the new kid in the corner of my eye smirking at me which made me blush i didn't even know the kid like that but i did know he was hot.

*the end of school*

it turns out the new kid also got detention later that day for some reason so it was just me, him, Sophia, and Bella until two of the most popular girls in school came in, Alex and Mackenzie. with the power of ease dropping Bella found out they only got detention on purpose to try and get close with the new kid for some reason i haven't got his name.

*15 minutes later*

we were all separated in different groups he new kid was by his self while i was with Sophia and Bella, Alex and Lori were also together across the room talking.

Bella: "you should really go talk to him"

Emily: "what no way"

Sophia: "yes we all can clearly see you to like each other whenever your not talking to us your having a staring contest with him just go."

Emily: "you really think i should go"

Emily and Sophia both said ''yes'' loud at the same time which made me want to regret going over to him because everyone started looking at us.

i got pushed towards him by Bella out of nowhere so i started walking to him slowly.

''um, hey'' i said as he looked up at me and quickly shoved something in his notebook with a shy smile.

''hey'' he sad back

''so what are you doing in detention uh-" i got cut off by him

''Thomas, my names Thomas"

"right, so what are you doing n detention Thomas"

"was late to class. is this school that strict? ya know if your late to a class you get detention"

"no only with some teachers what class was it?"

"science" he said

"oh yeah they have the worst teachers there"

there was a silence until he broke it "so whats your name, iv'e never gotten it"

"Oh its Emily" i said awkwardly. "so what was that you shoved in your notebook"

"oh its nothing''

''it cant be nothing if you hid it that quick" i quickly took his note book and grabbed the paper sticking out of it when i seen the most beautiful thing ever. I was gonna say something but got cut off by the detention bell ringing he quickly grabbed the paper and left.
