Lydia thought he would leave and never come back but he went out to sit in his car and every time she wanted to get other customers order she would peep from the window and see he was still outside sited patiently.

"Do you know who that is?" Drey asked startling her.

"No, he didn't tell me anything about him"

"Oh my god Lydia, I thought you knew?". Bella's said gasping.

"Well that is, Ryan Lucas one of the most popular billionaires son, Aiden Lucas, it is said that he left his fathers company because he wanted to become a billionaire himself without his father's help" Drey explained. 'so that was why he didn't feel the need to introduce himself' Lydia thought, looking back at him as she saw his eyebrows arched deeper, she guessed the phone conversation wasn't going well. He turned his head and looked out the window, his phone still placed tightly on his ear as he kept talking inaudibly. Shortly, like a daze, the breeze blew his hair over to his forehead covering his eyes, he pushed it back in place and Lydia thought to herself, he had no idea how downright raunchy he looked at that moment whilst making her gulp as she turned away with bated breath.

"I didn't take you for a gossiper" Bella said, raising an eyebrow at Drey. They've been talking to her but she was distracted she didn't hear them.

"I'm not" Drey stated, as he started cleaning the table they were standing in front just to avoid being shout at by their Boss, if he walks in on them.

"Hmm, well....so I know you'd say no, but please this night is gonna  be awesome, come with us to the Cocker club please" Bella said turning to Lydia holding her hand and giving her the puppy eyes face.

"No Bella, I told you I don't go to clubs or parties" Lydia retorted, tired of Bella's persistence, she slide her hands away and rolled her eyes.

"But why huh?"

"Don't stress the girl Bella, she's always telling you no, do you ever give up?" Drey said looking at Bella with a different expression this time, Lydia has always suspected something was going on between them but she didn't care to find out, they would go out to clubs and parties together, they would go home in the same taxi an still argue in front of her the next day.

"No I don't, so mind you, don't tell me to stop"

Bella said.

"I wonder why he's still out there?" Drey asked ignoring Bella and looked out at Ryan who was still talking on the phone in his car.

"What  did he want anyway Lydia?" Bella asked her.

"I told you already, something he couldn't get" Lydia said and left the two of them starring at each other with a funny expression.

                                  ~*****~

Lydia got out of the restaurant and Drey pecked her goodbye while Bella hugged her and the two had already changed to their party outfits.

Lydia pulled out her hoodie from her bag and wore it,  she stood and stared into thin air, replaying what the famous Ryan Lucas had propose to her as she scrunched her face thinking his approach was in everyway wrong. Then she looked down at her feet, her white sneaker, perfectly at close-quarters, she saw a speck of stub beside it but ignored it and her raised her head. The street suddenly fell silent, Lydia caught the glimpse of the little light spark right beside her and ignored that too.

Her mind and thoughts kept wanting Ryan in them but she kept pushing them back and deleting his handsome face from her head. Lydia wanted to avoid any feeling whatsoever, she fiddled on her hoodies zip as she realizes her mission might me a tough one.

Lydia then sauntered to the side of the road and wanted to call for a cab but then a Bugatti slowed down right in front of her, the window went down slowly and so did the face of the driver revealed slowly.

"Get in" Ryan said, looking straight at the road and this made Lydia frown.

"Taxi!!!" she called out to the taxi that drove by, but it didn't stop.

"I'm taking you home, get in!" he said now turning to her.

"No, if you want me to get in, you should ask me politely, I didn't beg you to stop your car in front of me"

"Oh you want me to beg you huh?, Listen I've got better things to do so get in, let me take you home"

"Darling, I'm not your pet, get your pets to do what you want" Lydia said and started walking away from his car.

She heard him get out of his car and closed the door and how he walked hastenly towards her.
He grabbed her hand, she released her self before he held her tight.

"What do you want? Don't you know who I am?" He asked frowning.

"Oh I'm sorry Mr , I have got no idea who you are and I really don't give a fuck about that"

"What did you just say?"

"You heard me"

"How dare you defy me?" Ryan said looking into her brown eyes, he was confused, nobody and absolutely nobody had ever treated him the way she just did, not even his father.

Lydia wanted to walk away again but he gripped her hands again and they locked eyes, Ryan suddenly felt jittery and he could feel his hands sweating, he tried his best to look away but he couldn't, he suddenly realized how florid her face was and could not help but feel intrigued by it. He felt tepid and it was weird, they weren't so close, he saw her eyes glisten, he frowned seeing how sharp it shined. He didn't know why he felt so much just by looking at her, Ryan stood there for a while even after Lydia slipped away and got into a cab in front of him unable comprehend if he was taken aback or amazed at her attitude.
