"That's not it Lydia"

"Then what is?" Lydia asked as she frowned, she hated men that abandons their children just because they want nothing to do with the woman.

"I don't wanna talk about it" Ryan said as he was about to walk away, Lydia pulled at him placed her hand on his chest and looked into his eyes searching for answers "explain to me please" she begged, Lydia wanted to know if he abandoned the child.

Ryan couldn't help it "Mary is a psycho alright... And I didn't know that until she became my partner, we had no romantic relationship just sex and so she started doing crazy things and will come up with some shit and claim she gonna to take to the media" Ryan sighed and continued  "eight months ago I decided to put a stop to it, she agreed at the spot but three months

later she came to my office and started yelling she was pregnant, I tried to take a DNA but she wouldn't let me"

"Who's Lora?" Lydia asked suddenly and Ryan furrowed his eyebrows, surprised she knows Lora.

"How do you know Lora?" Ryan asked.

"I heard around the house" Lydia said.

"The maids... Well Lora is another partner I had, she came around after Mary"

"And did you watch them all for a month, just like you did with me?" Lydia asked but Ryan didn't say anything and she continued "let's see, am I your partner or your girlfriend?"

"I... I don't know" Ryan said and Lydia face became pale as she slide her hand away from his chest and went back to the kitchen quietly, Ryan felt strange, he felt like he made her sad and he didn't like it.

He went into the kitchen and saw her dishing the food into two plates. Ryan scrunched his faced and fought his ego, he realized Lydia would be the one to help as he sees himself changing.

"I will take you as my girlfriend" he said very quickly and looked at Lydia who wasn't looking at him. "Mary is not and issue, I only have to speak with my lawyers and a DNA test would be issued, if the baby is mine, I will definitely take her in but if it's not I won't"

"Good" Lydia said and kept quiet as she handed him his food.

Ryan took a sit and started eating, he widened his eyes surprised that it tasted good, he loved the taste and ate with gusto.

Lydia laughed but he ignored her and continued eating as he would be embarrassed if he looked up.

They finished eating and immediately they got into the car to leave, Ryan decided to call his lawyers and they had to have a meeting the next day.

Ryan saw how Lydia face was still pale and he hated it. He cleared his throat and asked "are you okay?"

"I'm fine" Lydia said coldly without looking at him.

He then turned the car back toward another direction. "Where are we going now?" Lydia asked frowning.

"To get a smile on your face" Ryan said as his looked straight ahead and gulped
