When we were 4 years old, we learned that some kids have more power than others.
We were told we wouldn't develop a quirk. But that didn't discourage us, if anything, it pushed us to go further!

A (H/C) haired girl and a green haired boy ran across the streets, backpacks smacking their uniformed backs. Their eyes shined brighter the closer they got to the Tatooine Station.
They came to a stop in front of the station, where a big rat-like villain stood.
Their eyes sparkled. "Whoah! That's one big super villain!" The duo exclaimed in unison.
Their names were (Y/N) Bakugou and Izuku Midoriya.

It all started in Qingqing city.
An extraordinary child who radiated light was born! After that, there were reports of people with powers from all over across the world!
Soon, the supernatural became natural, dreams became reality!

The boy and girl almost squealed in excitement, as one of their favorite new superheroes made his entrance. "Kamui Woods, the rising star!"
"It's Kamui Woods!!" The girls in the crowd squealed.
Kamui Woods was a rookie hero who had his debut only recently, and was already very popular. His fitted suit had been tailored to perfection, blue and brown matching seamlessly with his own figure. It was not pissible to tell where the fake wood began and where his skin ended, if there was even any showing at all.

Society became superhuman, with at least 80% of the population possessing some kind of uncanny ability! Society was suddenly dominated by one career in our collective conciousness, as disorder swirled around the world, it's in this type of situations, that the dream profession comes into the spotlight!

"This is the Kamui Woods! He is a young, talented, experienced new hero who has had a sudden increase in popularity!" The green haired boy exclaimed excited.
The girl nodded enthusiastically. "He made his debut recently!"
"You two sure do know your stuff! I bet I know what you two are!" A man with star shaped things on his bald head spoke to them with a grin. "You're fans!"
The duo looked away with a sweatdrop and a small awkward chuckle. "Sort of?"
"Illegal use of powers during rush hour and robbery resulting in bodily injury!" Kamui Woods exclaimed to the villain. "You are the true incarnation of evil!" He outstretched his arm, as roots sprouted from it.
"C'mon tree-man, show us something flashy!"
The boy and girl's eyes sparkled once again. "Here it comes!"
"Preemptive...." The boy and girl muttered with glowing eyes and a smile.
"...Binding..!" Kamui continued.
"Lacquered Chain Prison!" Kamui and the duo exclaimed together, as large branches sprouted from Kamui's arm, and made their way to the villain.
But before the roots could reach him, a giant woman jumped in, kicking him away, straight in the face.
"Canyon Cannon!" She exclaimed.
Everyone in the crowd had the 'WTF?!' face.

Mt. Lady!~ A pleasure to make your ass-quaintance! You don't have to worry about this bum anymore!~"
Almost every man in the crowd started taking photos of her curved figure.
(Y/N) shuddered, glancing at Izuku. Good thing Izu is not like that... She grumbled. She never liked women who used their beauty to take the spotlight from others; even Kamui seemed grumpy about it, he had been there first after all. She sighed, taking out her notebook and writing down some notes about the fight. Even if I don't like her much, I respect her strength. If her moves help me become a hero, I'll definitely pay attention to her!
Both Izuku and (Y/N) excitedly wrote down notes on their notebooks about the fight. After all, they were going to be heroes too.
Mt. Lady shrunk, as the crowd cheered for her and Kamui silently sulked as all the credit was taken by her.

With the rise of superpowers, came the increase in criminal activity! While the government fretted not knowing what to do, courageous people stepped up to fight this villains who used their powers for evil! The government pays the heroes, and their career depends on their ability to stay on the spotlight!

Izuku and (Y/N) muttered as one wrote down his notes, and the other one examined hers.
"Gigantification, huh?" Izuku muttered.
"She looks like she'll be popular, though I don't like her much, it's still a cool quirk.." (Y/N) mumbled to herself, examining the rough sketch she made of Mt. Lady. "Can she control the size...?"
"But thinking about the damage that'll go to the city, it's use might be limited...? No.." Izuku muttered.
"No, but whether or not she can control her size..." Izuku and (Y/N) said in unison.
"Hey, you're taking notes?" The bald man from before asked them. "You wanna be heroes too? That's great! I'm sure you can do it!" He gave them a thumbs up.
(Y/N) and Izuku looked at each other, then grinned widely. "Yes, we'll do our best!"

Izuku and (Y/N) sat beside each other, heads hung low.
"Since you're all third years, it's time for you to think seriously about your future." The teacher announced. "I'd pass out your career aptitude tests but..." He paused with a smirk, as every student with a quirk grinned, showing theirs, already knowing what he was going to say. "We all know you're all pretty much going for the hero track, right?!" He cheerfully exclaimed, throwing away the papers.
The class cheered, everyone showing off their quirks, as Izuku and (Y/N) slowly sunk lower into their seats.
"Yes, yes, we all know you have some amazing quirks!" The teacher tried to pipe down the students. "But no power usage is allowed in the school! Get ahold of your selves!" Everyone settled down.
"Hey, teach! Don't lump me in with this bunch of losers! I'm the real deal, this losers will be lucky to end up as sidekicks to some busted delester!" Said none other than Katsuki Bakugou, also known as 'Kacchan' to Izuku, and formely Katsu-nii' to (Y/N).
(Y/N) tched silently, eyebrows twitching. Katsuki's ego is dripping from his ears... He's arrogant as hell...

"WHAT THE HELL KATSUKI?!"
"DO YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN THE REST OF US?!?!"
Katsuki snickered. "GO ON! I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON!"
The other classmates argued, angry with the arrogant jerk bastard.
The teacher took a paper from his desk and raised his eyebrows in surprise. "You aced the mock tests. You might actually make it into U.A High!" He said, as Katsuki smirked even more, making his sister want to punch him.
"No way!"
"He's going for the national school?!"
"But the acceptance rate of U.A is really low!"
Izuku let out a defeated groan, banging his head on his desk silently, while (Y/N) merely rolled her eyes at her 'brother's attitude. She did love Katsuki as a real brother-or at least, she tried to pretend she didn't-but she hated his personality and the fact that he bullied her friend.
"That's why it's the only school worthy of me!" Katsuki boasted, standing up, one foot on his desk. "I aced all the mock tests! I'm the only in this school who stands a chance at getting in! I'll surpass All Might himself and be the richest hero in the world!! People all around the world will know my name!! AND IT ALL STARTS WITH U.A. HIGH!!"
(Y/N) dropped her head on her desk with a sweatdrop and a small tickmark. I'm pretty sure a hero must be humble...Which you are NOT Katsuki!! He sounds more like a freaking scary villain...
The teacher's eyes scanned the paper, and he rose his eyebrows. "Oh yeah, Midoriya, Bakugou, don't you guys want to go to U.A. too?"

Then the terrible silence came, as Katsuki froze in shock and boiling anger, and the rest of the class turned to look at the duo.
(Y/N) and Izuku froze terrified and ashamed, sinking deeper into their seats.
Everyone soon erupted with laughter.
"Without a quirk?!"
"And they wanna enter U.A High?!"
"There's no way they can be heroes without a quirk!"
"A-actually, they got rid of that rule! W-we can be the first ones!" Izuku shyly tried to cut in, before Katsuki blew his desk away, making Izuku fall, and land on his butt.
(Y/N) sprang up, ready to punch her annoying adoptive bro is necessary.
"Listen up Deku! You too,
(N/N)!" Katsuki spat, hovering over a scared Izuku with a glare. "You two are even more worthless than these other rejects! You quirkless wannabes! Why do you think they'd let you two in when they'd have someone like me?!" Katsuki spat at the duo.
(Y/N) Bakugou rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. She walked over and pulled her friend up. "Ya mean an arrogant egoistic bastard like you, Katsuki?" She said to Katsuki, voice laced with venom. Izuku hid behind her, shivering. As always,
(Y/N)-chan is protecting me and standing up to Kacchan...I should stand up for myself some time. Izuku thought with an unnoticeable frown, as the two siblings had a stare-down.
The only reason why Katsuki was being so 'nice' to his 'sister' was that his mother had threatened to punish him if he hurt her or used his quirk on her ever since that fight. and he knew (Y/N) would use that to her advantage. In a quirkless fight, Katsuki was sure to lose.
Izuku peeked from behind
Katsuki got even angrier, and Izuku noticed and hid behind (Y/N) again, preparing for the storm to come.
"YOU'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO BE WITH THE BEST OF THE BEST!! YOU'LL BOTH DIE AT THE EXAMS!!" Katsuki angrily yelled at them, his hands emitting smoke. Everyone smirked evilly at both of them.
(Y/N) sweatdropped. He's crazy...

The class had just ended, and (Y/N) and Izuku were still packing their stuff while checking their phones.
"This morning's fight is all over the news!" Izuku exclaimed, checking his phone.
His best friend, (Y/N) hummed. "Well, of course! After all, today was the debut of Mt. Lady!"
"We better write down some notes before we forget anything!" He said cheerfully, grabbing his notebook. But it was snatched by Katsuki in a second. The other Bakugou glared at her older brother.
While Izuku and (Y/N) were distracted, Katsuki and his 'friends' had snuck in the class.
"Leave him alone Katsuki." (Y/N) said, crossing her arms. The Bakugou siblings glared harshly at each other. Katsuki tched and shoved his sister away.
"I don't know what you two shitstains are doing, but we're not done with our chat!" Katsuki spat at them, swaying Izuku's notebook in the air.
(Y/N) Bakugou glared harder at him, scoffing. "There's nothing to talk about asshole. Go to hell." Of course, even if she was adopted, the hot head personality and constant swearing were a bonus package.
Katsuki scoffed, ignoring his hotheaded sister, he glared at Izuku.
"Whatcha got there? His diary?" One of his accomplices asked, as Katsuki smirked and handed him the notebook which had 'Hero Analysis for the Future No. 13' written on it.
"HA! Don't tell me you're taking notes on how to be a hero!"
"That's so pathetic!"
His accomplices laughed loudly, making the younger Bakugou growl. She might be kind and an angel when with kind people, and when no one is bullying Izuku of course, but as soon as she gets angry, I'd say you have to run!
She growled, eyes turning feline-like for a split second. "Give Izuku his notebook back you freaking jerk!" Before she could reach for the notebook, Katsuki exploded it and threw it out the window.
"THAT'S SO MEAN!" Izuku yelled with a whine.
(Y/N) growled, slinging a comforting arm over Izuku's shoulder.
"Most top first-string heroes have stories about them from their school days. I want the shine of being able to be called the only student who made it into U.A. High from this crappy Junior High School. I mean, I am a perfectionist after all." He said in all his crappy arrogant glory that (Y/N) wanted to crush so badly.
(Y/N) was so angry, she didn't know how to react; either punch the hell out of Katsuki, knock him out, beat him up really badly, or jump after the notebook. In the end, she decided for the last option. Even if she was so freaking angry she could have killed Katsuki, she dashed to the window and jumped out, making Izuku yell.
"(Y/N)!!"
"NERD!!!"
She inmeaditely sweatdropped at her brother's call.
She felt the air brushing her hair away, and then she realized what she had done, and went back to her cheerful, shy, and nervous self. Which made her panic and flail her arms in the air. HOLY STINKING SUPER CRAP! WHAT DID I DO?! She moved her arms around, staring at the ground that was slowly coming closer to her as she clumsily reached for the falling notebook. AAH! JUST TRY TO LAND STRAIGHT!! She then did something quite crazy: she put her arms in front of her and legs in a straight down position, kinda like a feline. SHIT WHAT AM I DOING?!?!?!?! And amazingly enough, she landed like a cat, yes, bones ached like hell, but she was alive!
"Whoohoo!" She jumped up and down, fist bumping the air, holding the notebook in one hand. But then she inmeaditely stopped, holding her bruised wrists. "Owie!.." She whined.
She didn't know that Katsuki was long gone and Izuku on his way down to her.
Izuku was worried sick for his best friend, and as soon as Katsuki was gone, he made his way down in a rush.
He quickly reached (Y/N) and shook her shoulders harshly. "(Y/N) WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! YOU COULD'VE DIED!!" He started muttering, with wide eyes, as his friend rolled her eyes and chuckled.
(Y/N) giggled, swaying the notebook in front of his face. "I'm okay, and so is your notebook!" She paused, then feeling the burnt material with a sweatdrop. "Well, more or less."
Izuku snapped out of it and hugged her. "I'm just glad you're okay."
(Y/N) froze and a faint blush covered her cheeks. She looked away and pouted. "W-whatever. If I hadn't saved your notebook it'd have turned into fish food.."
Izuku sweatdropped, handing her her backpack. She's such a tsundere..
She then narrowed her eyes and poked his cheek. "Ya better not believe whatever that jerk told ya!"
Izuku smiled weakly. "Yeah, I know. After all, we made a promise."
(Y/N) smiled. "Yeah!" Then her smile turned dark as her eyebrows twitched. "I swear I'm going to kill that f****** shitty bastard for what he said to you...! Don't worry Izuku, when I get home, I swear he'll pay!!"
Izuku sweatdropped at her colorful language. She doesn't talk like this when she's with me, but I guess that seeing Kacchan switched her 'cursing' mode on...

We had made a promise, when we were four years old, after being told we wouldn't have a quirk.
We promised we'd become heroes together, no matter what everyone said or thought. We'd become the greatest heroes, like All Might!

As both walked come home together, they didn't realize something was stalking them.
Izuku was looking down, remembering his and (Y/N)'s mother's words.
'I'm sorry Izuku! I wished things were different!'
'Forgive me, (Y/N)!'
He clenched his fists, and fist bumped the air. We made a promise that day! So no matter what happens, I'll keep smiling, just like him!
He started laughing, making (Y/N) raise an eyebrow at him.
Heeeeeh? She then shrugged and grinned, laughing with him.
They walked inside a tunnel, while both laughed like All Might.
It all happened in a second, as a green goo villain sprang up from the sewer and grabbed Izuku and knocked out (Y/N).
"Ooh perfect! A quirkless body for me to hide in! I didn't know he was here... gotta go fast!" It said, as it started flooding Izuku's throat and nose. "You're a real hero to me kid!~"
Izuku tried to grab the villain, but he couldn't, since he was fluid. He moved around, trying to escape from his grip. He panicked, as he started to lose more oxygen. Oh no! I'm going to die! And I...never...told....her...
He fell unconscious.

Not long after that, he felt someone slapping him.
Izuku groaned, starting to get annoyed by the slapping, he slowly opened his eyes. And he saw All Might and a barely awake (Y/N) behind him. OH MY GOD!!!!!
"Thought we lost you two there! Geez!" All Might said with a relieved sigh.
It only took Izuku a few seconds before he snapped out of his shock.
"A-A-AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!" Izuku screamed, literally crawling backwards-somehow-more than three feet.
(Y/N) was too shocked too. It took a few seconds before her drowsiness vanished and she realized what was happening. She blinked owlishly, slowly shifting her gaze between All Might and Izuku. "....." She then gasped, falling backwards on her butt. "HOLY CRAP IT'S FREAKING ALL MIGHT!!!!!!" She screamed, squishing her own cheeks, too busy trying not to fangirl.
"Well, it looks like you're both moving alright!" All Might said.
Izuku and (Y/N) turned to look at each other, shaking. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!! THE GREATEST SUPERHERO IS STANDING IN FRONT OF US!! IN THE FLESH!!
"Sorry about that back there! I didn't mean to get you both caught up in my justicing, usually I pay more attention to keeping innocent bystanders safe, but as it turns out, this city's sewer system is pretty hard to navigate!! HAHAHAHA !" All Might said, laughing loudly.
"Anyway, you were a big help! Thanks to you two, I've captured the evil doer!" He said, showing the duo two bottles with the green slimy villain.
The duo gasped. WE MUST GET HIS AUTOGRAPH!!!!
"Holy crap! I must have a pen somewhere!" Izuku said, frantically looking for his notebook and a pen. (Y/N) did the same, and as both opened their notebooks, they saw they were already signed!! AAAAAHHHH! HE ALREADY DID!!!
Their eyes sparkled, and both stood up, bowing repeatedly crazily. "Thank you so so much! It will be an heirloom! A precious family treasure passed down for generations to come!!" Both blurted out as they bowed repeatedly.
"Well, I gotta get this guy to the police so that they can take care of him!" All Might said, patting the bottle in his pocket. "Stay out trouble! See you around!" He turned around, flexing his legs, getting ready to jump.
