Quick note: I'd like to thank everyone who has supported me with this situation, the ones who have voted, commented, and acted really understading about the situation (most are in my other books cuz not so many people read this one). But to those of you right here: Thank you. Really, thank you. With all my heart and soul. Thank you. Love ya'll! Sooo, I decided to at least try to write a bonus chap for those of you who read this story. I'll try not to spoil anything from the chaps ahead.
This: (B/D) means birthday date.

Having a family doesn't guarantee companionship, or rather, it doesn't guarantee a lack of loneliness.
(Y/N) Bakugou knew this; she had a family she loved with their flaws, a best friend she also loved, an overall okay life despite being looked down on for being quirkless.
Despite this, a shadow crept in her heart. The result of an unknown past, and perhaps the yearning she couldn't acknowledge for the sake of her family.

To her knowledge, she was found in a dumpster in Tokyo as a newborn. No note, no belongings, not even clothes to cover her. She had been dropped off at an orphanage and later adopted by the Bakugou couple, who recently had a boy and wished for him to have a sister the same age.

The story was missing a few pieces though.

Police report, Case File A15
(B/D)

Here lies the account of the events of (B/D), by police officer Naomi Teoko.

Pro hero All Might arrived at the police station in Roppongi, Tokyo, the rainy night of (B/D) past 11:30 pm, after finding a newborn babe in a dumpster behind his agency.

~~~><14 years ago><~~~
Rain pattered against the windows, as All Might looked through a pile of case files and the most recent internship applications. This year there were a couple of promising young ones in the bunch.
Toshinori Yagi grinned and signed his approval on the applications, then leaned back on the chair and looked out the windows that covered his office.
As All Might, and a pro hero with his own agency, that included working into the long hours of the night in his heroic form and piles of paperwork forever covering his assistant's. He hadn't even noticed the time until he looked out the windows of the tall building.
Nighttime Tokyo bustled with activity, even through the rainy weather. People carried their umbrellas as they walked briskly to their offices, scattered across sidewalks. Others hid under the cover of eaves and the darkness in alleys. Beggars and homeless hid away from the main streets. Innocent business fronts hid darker schemes inside. Steam billowed some blocks away, likely the well-known fire hero's work.
Just what you'd expect in a Japan still dominated by All For One.
His hands clenched. Where are you? What is your next move? Months, months of waiting for another sign of All For One. Nothing, despite all the search and bait laid out.
No matter, he would show up eventually, or be found. It was a matter of time. Stressing out during a relatively calm rainy night was pointless.
"Nobara! I'll be heading back now! Please make sure Nighteye turns in earlier today!"
His assistant laughed pleasantly and signed off on another form as he walked out. "Sure, but you know he's stubborn."
All Might sighed resignedly. He sure had picked a brilliant sidekick, he just wished he had more of a fondness for sleep, he was still young after all.
Ironically, or perhaps fortunately, instead of heading back home to rest as he had planned, he exited through the rooftop, deciding to do one last patrol for the day.
It must have been fate that led him to that choice.
All Might looked around, seeing the pillar of steam from before reduced to a mere cloud a few blocks down. Ah, Endeavor must have dealt with it quickly. He decided to head the opposite way, rather than incur wrath or worse from the younger pro hero.
A cry stopped him in his tracks. He would be hard pressed to admit he stumbled a little as he paused mid jump.
What?
He stilled, letting the rain fall on his quiet form. Perhaps he'd been hearing things amongst the rain...
And there it was again!
"Hey did you hear that?"
"What?"
"Like a cry?"
"Oh haha, no darling it must be the rain hitting some creaky metal shit."
"Ah... right."
"Where are those cries coming from?"
"Must be in one of the apartments hun."
"What do you mean?!"
All Might furrowed his brows in confusion, and then concern. I'm definitely not imagining things.
He waited for the next wail. And there!
He looked straight down. The alley behind his agency. Maybe someone had been dumped there? A.. hostage? A bargain? Bait? Wary, but tensing in anticipation, he jumped down.
The alley was darker than expected, but the agency tended to make sure the surrounding area was secure, and that meant good lightning during dark nights. In general. The rainy weather had caused a blackout and some of the lights had shorted out.
One remained though. He followed the continuing wails, glancing around, trying to locate the origin. There's no one here... unless..!
All Might startled and started to move things around frantically, but carefully, getting progressively more concerned as the cries grew in volume and desperation.
He was no parent, but he was darn sure that was the cry of a child in need. A young one at that.
He finally headed to the dumpster in the back, and tried to glimpse inside. Sure enough, a loud anguished cry came from inside, followed by a thump. His blood boiled with righteous fury and concern as he couldn't move quickly enough.
Trash was tossed aside and he bent the only working lamp post left to get a better view of the situation. It took more digging than his heart could take before he finally reached the small, small babe.
It can't be! Who'd put a baby in there?! Indeed, there was a baby girl inside, resting on the pile of trash. The trash had covered her from the rain, but with no clothes, it had hardly made a difference.
All Might gasped, and carefully picked her up. She was shivering in his arms as if the wind rattled her insides, completely dwarfed in comparison to him.
Toshinori moved slowly, terribly gentle in his hold as he wrapped the thin black cloth around her tightly. She was cold and dirty against his suit, too cold for a newborn, judging by her size. He couldn't tell if blood was covering her or if it was some sort of liquid, but both options were as concerning for someone who had never held a newborn before. He was panicking a bit, needless to say. What if he held her too tightly?!
(It wasn't going to happen. His control over OFA's strength range was flawless. Toshinori Yagi just gets nervous around newborns).
The babe quieted in his arms, leaning against him as she shivered. Tiny (E/C) eyes focused on him blearily, as she sniffed and then sneezed.
Toshinori hummed with a small smile, "Shush hush, young one. Bless you."
The baby teared up again in his arms, but didn't wail. The tears simply fell.
A pit formed in his stomach. Who would dare leave a baby in a dumpster?! Not to mention here... Is there an ulterior motive to this? A newborn babe... no healthy newborn should be capable of a silent cry. A child cries for help, a babe wails, it's just natural. For a newborn to cry quietly...
Keeping a gentle hold on the baby as he rocked her slightly, he rummaged with one arm in the dumpster, looking for a note or something. With all the tossing and pushing trash aside it took him some effort to find the small torn paper.
The rain had smudged the ink, but the message was clear. Whoever had written this, had been in a hurry.
'If you're reading this note, I must be dead. I didn't get to All Might in time. Whoever finds her please, protect her, hide her at all costs. Don't let the villains find her.'
All Might's gaze sharpened as he stared at the smudged writing. Villains? Could... could this be a lead?
His gaze snapped towards the babe, still shivering but quiet in his arms, calm. A hint? A lead? Or rather, something we must protect.
You don't need to ask for the protection of a child.
I need to take her to the hospital to get her looked at, then the police station. Gotta report this.
After...
~~~°°°°~~~

For a moment, Toshinori Yagi considered keeping her, specially after rereading the note and handing it off to forensics for analysis. This was a newborn who needed to be looked after, someone to keep an eye on her, he could protect and raise her.
The rational part of him immediately shot that down. Whoever had writtten the note, had expected the possibility of dying; they had either intended to give her to him, or say something to him. Either way, it was a path he couldn't take. All Might was a pro hero, forever in the spotlight. He had more stalkers than he could count and reporters on his ass every day.

Sure, he could tone it down and use his more casual looking form whenever he left his home. But what would her life be like? Would she be able to stay safe and secret with him? No, she wouldn't. If All Might adopted a child, it was sure to be known eventually. He couldn't just keep her at home and expect himself to be able to drop and pick her up at school like a normal person. What school would she even go to? Surely, information would leak from somewhere. If she was discovered, she was sure to be targeted. And that was exactly what he was supposed to prevent.

No. Absolutely not.

His heart clenched as he handed the baby to the orphanage headmaster and watched the baby in the crib.

The tests had come back normal. She was a healthy, newborn babe. Who after a bath, was as clean as any. Both the blood and weird goo that covered her were tested, but came back as unknown; not in the registry, and of unknown composition.

Not only that, but after a bone scan to check if any bones were broken when she was dumped, it was confirmed she had no double joints on her feet. It should have been too early to tell, but it was quite clear in the scan. She had eerily well formed bones for a newborn. Almost too perfect.

Toshinori sighed, lips pursed as he looked at the newborn. She had finally fallen asleep in the crib, curled up under the covers. This is the right thing. Right?
I cannot be by her side directly, but I can watch her from afar. Whoever she is, she's important. That much is clear. But much more important than that, she's a child. A child who is being targeted. She must be protected.

With the burden of another secret to carry, Toshinori walked away from the crib and closed the door behind him.

###
Police report, Case File A15,

The day after (B/D), the unknown newborn babe was given to the orphanage in the south of the Musutafu city, as far from Tokyo as was considered wise.

Tests on the newborn babe confirmed the presence of a quirk, however after careful consideration, it has been decided to hide this fact for safety reasons until the quirk presents itself naturally.

Forensic analysis on the note provided gained nothing but traces of the same blood and substance that covered the newborn. What information could be garnered from the substance, revealed it to be of synthetic origin, supposed to mimic placenta, possibly.
The blood was not registered in any database, which suggests an unregistered citizen, or someone whose records were destroyed.

The child will be monitored to ensure her safety and discard the possibility of becoming a target.

Further investigation has been approved, under All Might's supervision.

Police and pro heroes will continue to collaborate in search of answers.
