Minghao just came home from Junhui's house and had just finished another nagging session from his mother.
The boy opened his closet to reveal a vast amount of clothing with the majority being black, gray, white, and other darker colors.
Hmm... What should I wear?
He took multiple clothes and put it on his bed. He tried them all on, standing in front of his full-body mirror to check out each outfit.
After over an hour of trying to mix and match his clothes and accessories and posing in front of the mirror, he had finally decided on what to wear.
Aren't I taking this a bit too seriously? It's not like it's a date or something...
He shook his head, trying to wake himself up from daydreaming. A dream that he'd love to come true.
No, no, no. We're just friends. Just friends hanging out on the weekend. Quit being delusional.
He looked at himself at the mirror and fiddled with the silver necklace that was resting on his chest, feeling it's coldness.
Ting!
His phone made a sound from a notification. He went to his bed to pick up his phone and opened it.

He threw his phone back on his bed after seeing the older boy's comment.
Well, comments. Emphasis on the 's'.
He squealed like an eleven year old girl after saying "hi" to their crush. He covered his mouth with a pillow so that no one would hear it.
A date with Jun...
He blushed at just the thought of it, giggling like a child.
And no, not in the same way he giggles when he watches a horror movie.
After calming himself down, he took back his phone that he just threw on his bed, realizing that he needs it when they go out.
He goes downstairs and kisses his parents goodbye.
As soon as he opens the front door, he's greeted by a boy who had been standing there with his hands on his pockets.
"Hi," The boy turns around with a wide grin on his face. "So, where are we going for our date, babe?"
Minghao rolled his eyes. "Firstly, it's not a date." He said, walking past the older boy and onto the car. "And secondly, I'm not your babe, Wen Junhui."
Junhui turns around and follows the boy. "Wouldn't you want to be my babe, Xu Minghao?"
Minghao's heart had skipped a beat.
However, Junhui's laugh broke the split second silence.
Of course, it was a joke. It always is. What was I even expecting?
Minghao proceeded to go inside the car and sat on the passenger's seat, trying to keep his face from making any extra expressions. "Just get in. We're going to an amusement park." He said, trying to avoid the older boy's face.
Junhui went inside and sat next to the younger boy and shut the door. "Mr. Choi, could you take us to the amusement park?"
Mr. Choi, their driver, nodded and started driving.
During the drive on the way to the amusement park, they barely talked. Well, Junhui tried to talk, but Minghao gave short answers and just looked outside the window. Minghao was thinking about how casually Junhui just called him babe and how it made him expectant of something.
When they got to the amusement park, Junhui asked Mr. Choi to pick them up at around 5:30 PM. Then, they went to the booth to buy the tickets for the rides. The two boys started walking inside the place.
Come to think of it, I think this is the first time we went to an amusement park together.
Junhui took the younger boy's hand and held it in his. "So, which ride do you want to go first, babe?" Junhui asked, while walking backwards to look at the younger boy.
"It's so funny how you can call me 'babe' when you just had a break up yesterday." Minghao blurted out with a slight annoyance in his tone.
Junhui stopped in his tracks and let go of the younger boy's hand. The light in his eyes changed and his smile was gone. "Oh..."
As soon as Minghao saw the change in Junhui's expression, guilt had flooded within him.
Fuck! Why did I say that? I'm so fucking supid.
Because that's when he realized it.
Jun was trying his best to act happy today...
"J-Jun," Minghao looked at the boy and grabbed his hand, the same hand that let go of his. "Sorry. I didn't mean to say that."
He nudges Junhui and tried to cheer him up. After all, cheering Junhui up from his breakup was the entire purpose of why Minghao decided to go to the amusement park with him. That, which he just blew a few seconds ago. "Sorry, Junnie." He said, looking up at Junhui with a smile on his face.
Junhui sighed. "Okay," He couldn't stay mad at the younger boy for a long time, especially when Minghao's trying his best and smiling like that. "But you need to buy me a popcorn, okay?"
Minghao lets out a slight chuckle. "Okay. Cheese, your favorite?"
Junhui nods.
"Let's go on a ride first before we get popcorn." The younger boy said, leading him to the rollercoaster ride.
"Y-You wanna ride here? On t-the rollercoaster?" Junhui asked with a slight shiver in his legs.
"Yeah! It can't be a complete amusement park experience without riding on a rollercoaster!" The younger boy's eyes were basically shimmering with excitement.
"Haha... o-okay. Sure." The older boy easily conceded. How could he say no when the boy was that excited about it?
Thankfully, they didn't have to wait a long time to get in the ride.
As soon as they got seated, Junhui's hands were shaking. Minghao doesn't notice it, being distracted from excitement.
When they were nearing to top of the rollercoaster, Minghao saw the couple in front of him.
"Honey, it's okay. Don't be scared." The man said, hugging the woman closer to him.
The woman snuggled closer to the man and held his hand.
Minghao sighed as he saw the couple.
Should I pretend to be scared? Maybe Jun might hug me if I pretend to be scared or at least hold my hand? Pfft no. I enjoy thrills too much to act scared.
He turned beside him and saw what seems to be Junhui whose eyes were closed and was gripping the seatbelt with all his might.
"Jun, you okay?" Minghao asked, placing his hand on the older boy's shoulder.
Junhui took the younger boy's hand and held it firmly, not saying a word.
Minghao chuckled a bit. "It's okay, Jun." He arranged his hand in a more comfortable position, allowing the older boy to hold his hand better. "It's alright, Jun. I'm here for you."
And the next few seconds was filled with screams of many people, as the ride has reached it's climax.
Junhui closed his eyes as hard as he could and gripped the younger boy's hand even tighter, trying not to scream.
And the entire time, Minghao just looked at Junhui with a smile on his face.
I hope this ride never ends.

A/N: By the way, before y'all ask why Minghao's hair wasn't black on the mirror selfie he sent to Jun, it's because I just liked that photo and thought that the outfit and his hairstyle just gave off the same vibe that I wanted the Minghao in the story to give out.
