AFTER THE FINAL TENNIS MATCH, Class 1A couldn't find y/n anywhere. They first stopped by the nurses office to see if she got her fingers healed, but Recovery Girl informed them that they had just missed her, and she ran off somewhere.

That was their only lead though. She wasn't in her dorm room, in the classroom—anywhere.

It was now 9 at night, the students gathered in the common area, discussing what they should do about the missing girl.

"Should we tell Mr.Aizawa about this?" Ochako asked, raising her hand. "What if y/n is hurt somewhere?"

"He might get mad at us for losing her, if we're being honest here." Sero sighed, the students groaning in agreement.

"Well we can't just sit here! What if she's in trouble!?" Mina hissed.

"The chick is fine."

They turned around to Bakugo, who was sitting comfortably on the couch.

"How would you know?" Mina growled.

"Because she's not a kid. She lost a match, lost her cool, then went to blow off some steam."

"That doesn't explain!—"

"And because she's standing right fucking there."

The class whipped around to the front door, y/n freezing mid-walk.

"Y/N!!" They shouted of relief.

Y/n quietly closed the door behind her. She then walked towards the common area, her chin dropped to her chest.

"...Is your hand all better?" Momo asked as the girl stood at the front of the room, y/n nodding lightly.

She suddenly looked up, glaring at Midoriya. "I'm sorry, Deku."

The freckled boy choked. "H-Huh? For what?...Oh, the scratches? I told you, it's okay! You did it to me once bef—"

"No...It isn't okay..." Y/n interrupted him, her eyes going soft. "...I actually owe you all an apology...It's just..." She started to get seemingly irritated with herself, her grunting and growling. She ran her fingers through her hair, angrily whining to herself.

"...Is she...shitting?" Sero whispered.

"...My...mother..."

Every single person in the room immediately perked up. This will be the first piece of information we'll get about her personal life!!

"...She was really...strict. My dad had a job that was like...uhm...how do you say it...A hit or miss? Kinda like an artist or a writer, your work may or may not blow up...So we weren't very rich.

So my mother wanted me to make up for it—I had to get good grades, be a good person—she wanted me to be successful in place of my dad. And so I could get a good job and make myself useful to her, and help her when I got older...

She pressured me to be this perfect person with no flaws...Obviously I'm not.

But I think I let her words get to my head today...I really didn't want to fail...I didn't want to lose...I wanted to help you guys win, and it didn't pay off..." Y/n gave a bow to her friends, balling up her fist.
"...So I'm sorry."

There was a thick silence, before someone stood up, breaking the tension. "I forgive you."

Y/n looked up, seeing Todoroki give her a small grin. "You shouldn't have to apologize for that, though. It really isn't your fault."

"Yeah, your mom sounds like she's a piece of shit." Sero shrugged.

"You did a great job out there anyway." Momo smiled, walking up to y/n and hugging her by the shoulders. "You didn't fail in our eyes."

"Yeah, you and Jirou were super awesome!!" Mina cheered.

"Seriously, I wish I could rewatch the whole thing!" Kirishima smiled.

"Don't let our loss get to your head, okay?" Jirou grinned to her friend.

Y/n nodded, before turning to look to Iida. "I feel bad though. You worked so hard to coach us, Iida. I feel like we made your training go to waste."

"Not in the slightest!" Iida quickly jumped up, slicing his hand through the air. "You and Jirou made it to the finals! That's more than I could have ever expected!"

"Okay, ouch." Jirou monotoned.

"Even if you guys lost the first match, I still would've been proud. Because you put effort into wanting to win. That shows just how seriously you were taking this festival. So don't apologize! I enjoyed being your coach!" Iida exclaimed, placing his hands on his hips proudly.

Y/n chuckled, shaking her head from side to side. "Thanks, Ii—"

"WHY DID YOU DISAPPEAAAAARRR!?" Kaminari whined, jumping into y/n and hugging her, smushing his cheek against hers.

"GET OFF ME, YOU IDIOT!!!" She screamed, trying to pry off the crying boy.

As the students crowded around y/n, all happy that the trouble-making girl returned to them safely, Midoriya smiled to himself, watching from a distance as she smiled and laughed with everyone.

...So her mother shaped y/n into who she is now...

"We won." Aizawa announced to his homeroom the following morning.

The students paused, before yelling and shouting, "WE WON!?"

"Yes, the sport festival results came in. Though we lost the baseball and tennis final match, we managed to get 1st. You've all won a day trip to the hot springs."

"ALL RIGHT!!" They cheered.

"If you win the school festival, it will be extended to an overnight trip. Keep that in mind. Class dismissed."

"Nice!! We won!!" Kaminari gleamed.

"Now we just have to win the school festival so it can be an overnight trip!" Momo clapped.

"That means you boys have to work your asses off for your princess!!" Mina pointed towards Kirishima, Sero, Kaminari, Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki.

"HUH!?" Bakugo hissed, his feet kicked up on his desk.

"Ashido's right. If we want people to vote for our homeroom, you have to take the cosplay seriously!" Hagakure lectured.

Y/n sighed, her temple throbbing. "Are people really gonna wanna see that? I mean, it's like watching teenagers in costumes flirt."

"Believe it or not, girls love watching fantasy romance like what we're doing!" Ochako held up her cellphone, showing a picture of a cafe in downtown Tokyo.

"This is a cafe based off the anime Ouran High School Host club. There's one girl server whose dressed as Haruhi, and the other servers are boys, dressed up as The Hosts. During the day, while attending to their customers, they did little acts to the Haruhi actor, like flirt or give her gifts, and the ratings are super high! People love watching it!"

"Oooooo that sounds so cute!!!" Mina squealed, proving Ochako's point.

"Plus we'll be serving drinks and pastries, so boys can come in as well to enjoy the food." Jirou added on.

Y/n sighed, laying her head on her desk. "This is going to be humiliating."

"So you boys better come up with something romantic to do!! You only get once chance throughout the day, okay!!" Mina demanded.

"Easy! I know what Imma do!" Sero exclaimed, putting his hands behind his head and laying back in his chair.

Midoriya slouched in his desk, thinking. Hm...How am I going to flirt with y/n?

3 days had passed, the school festival being held tomorrow Saturday morning. Midoriya knocked on his friends' dorm door, patiently waiting in the hallway.

A minute passed by, before the person opened their door, their eyes wide with surprise. "Midoriya? What are you doing here?"

"H-Hi, Yaoyorozu." He muttered, looking down at his feet. "I-Uhm..."

"Oh, is that Deku?" Jirou peeked her head out the door, who was in Momo's room sewing the final touches to the prince cosplays the boys would wear.

"J-Jirou! This is actually perfect to have you both here!" The boy perked up. "Uhm...The two of you are quite close with y/n, right?...What should I do tomorrow?...As the prince, I mean."

"Oh, to get people to vote for you, right?" Jirou asked.

"O-Oh no! I don't necessarily care about winning the title as her prince, but I want to do something that will wow our customers, so they vote for our classroom....Also...because y/n has been avoiding me recently...I'm not sure how to get her to talk to me."

Momo and Jirou glanced at each other, smirking.
"...Yknow, you aren't the first prince to come by to ask us for help." Momo giggled.

"Really? I'm not?"

"Actually, Kaminari came just about an hour ago for our advice. And Todoroki just before him. It might be because they don't know anything about what y/n likes—none of us do to be honest—so they're all worried about what will get y/n flustered and make the customers choose them."

"Ha, that makes me feel a little better." Midoriya sweat dropped.

"Also, she isn't avoiding you." Jirou leaned against the doorway, crossing her arms over her chest. "She still feels bad for hurting you the other day."

"Hurting me?...Oh...that..." He whispered, touching his left cheek with his hand. "...Wait, she's still upset about that?"

"Yep...So I say you should do something a little more heartfelt, rather than flashy. To let her know you really forgive her." Momo smiled.

"Heartfelt?"
