All I saw of the girl is her warm (e/c) eyes and five silver shines that would put shame on a star's light. The girl would appear out of nowhere and would prevent great tragedies. She also is surrounded by powerful people she brought together with her charm. When I heard you speaking in another language, I knew you were foreign. That would explain you appearing out of nowhere. But your eye color confirms my suspicion. (L/N) (Y/N), you are that girl." Kagaya explained.

Your jaw drops down in shock. You being in this world was no freak accident. Something or someone summoned you here. But why? Out of all seven billion people on Earth, why was it you? This feels like some sort of prophecy is being fulfilled. "I...uh I-I don't know what to say..." You mumbled.

"Luckily Kibutsuji doesn't know about your destiny, so he won't come after you any time soon. So in the meanwhile help Tanjiro hone his skills. Alright?" Kagaya said.

"Are you telling me this girl is the key to defeating Kibutsuji?! Master, why didn't you say so? She can be my Tsuguko!" Tengen exclaimed.

"What?! No way! I want to be the one to train her! Look how beautiful and unique she is! (Y/N) chan should be my Tsuguko!" Mitsuri whined.

"Are those grapes on her haori? Grapes are a fruit, right?" Muichiro questioned.

While Tengen and Mitsuri are fighting over you and OMG two sexy Hashiras are fighting over you! your (s/c) face is the same shade of red as your haori. This is a dream come true! An irk mark appears on Shinobu's temple while she raises her hand. She believes you're getting overwhelmed by seeing how red your face is. "Before (L/N) san can choose which master she'll train with, she needs to recover. She needs to stay at my mansion for a while and then you can fight over her." Shinobu said.

"Shinobu's right. (Y/N) needs to recover first before pursuing her destiny." Kagaya agrees.

"I'll be waiting for you!" Mitsuri and Tengen exclaimed at the same time.

"Now, let's get you to my mansion." Shinobu chirps. She claps her hands and the same Kakushi that carried Nezuko appeared. She hurriedly bows to Kaguya and the Hashiras before picking you up. As your legs are dangling, you realize how much pressure you've been putting on them. With you not moving them, they feel relieved. "I'll see you real soon, (L/N) san!" Shinobu waved.

Once you disappear out of sight from them, Rengoku lets out a breath that he's been holding. "Alright, now that she's gone, I can finally ask this question. Did anyone else find that (L/N) girl creepy?" He asked.

"Creepy? What do you mean by that?" Tengen asked.

"Did you see the way she was staring at me!? It looked like she wanted to devour me! The way her pupils are dilated and her month widened, plus I could have sworn she was drooling a bit. I feel if she wasn't restrained, she would've pounced me." Rengoku explained.

"You must be seeing things, Kyojuro. (Y/N) chan looked perfectly fine." Mitsuri disagrees.

You covered your mouth to sneeze. This makes you almost fall off the Kakushi's back. The Kakushi took off running at lightning speed. If she weren't a Kakushi, she can make a career in track. It only took her about a couple of minutes to arrive at the Butterfly estate. Your mouth and eyes widened at how beautiful it looks. The anime did it justice. You love how the butterflies surround the garden giving off a gentle vibe.

"Oh great, the Tsuguko is still here." She muttered under her breath. "Where is the other girl?"

Kanao is standing in the garden surrounded by butterflies. She even has one of them laying on her finger. She looks so enchanted by them.

"Kanao! It's great to see you again!" You called out while beaming at her.

Kanao turns around and her purple eyes shine when she sees you. Her smile seemed different from the one the Kakushi saw a few minutes ago. It seemed more genuine. Kanao walks over to you two with the butterfly still in her hand. "(Y/N)... Welcome." Kanao spoke.

"I'm so happy to be here. I'm looking forward to spending my time here!" You exclaimed.

Kanao takes out her coin and flips it. Her smile widened a tad bit before looking at you. "I'm looking forward to spending time with you too. Recover well." She said.

"Lady Kanao, may we enter the estate?" The Kakushi asked. Kanao stares at her with a blank smile. You felt bad for her when you saw a sweat drop down her face. "Okay, we're going inside since I was allowed last time." She said.

"......"

"Take care, Kanao!" You waved.

"Sayonara." Kanao waves back.

"What the hell! How come she talks to you, but not to us! We've been serving the Demon Slayer Corps longer than you have!"

"I'm likable that's why. Just give Kanao a chance, I'm sure she'll come out of her cocoon."

"Did you just make a pun?!"

"Puns are cool, Kanao sure likes them."

She rolls her eyes and kept on walking. You heard footsteps coming towards you and out came a girl with pigtails. Aoi looks surprised that the same Kakushi she just saw is back already. "Another injured Slayer? Alright, you call follow me." She said. Aoi leads you two to a room where all the injured Slayers can recover. "You can set her up in this bed." Aoi pointed.

Just as the Kakushi was about to place you at the bed, you see the Kamaboko squad. You see Tanjiro and Kiyo trying to convince Zenitsu to take his medicine. You also had to fight back a gag when you saw a large snot coming from Zenitsu's nose and onto the Kakushi that's carrying Tanjiro.

"Tanjiro!" You called out. He turns around and smiles when he spotted you.

"(Y/N) chan! You're back so soon!" He exclaimed.

"The Master said he only wanted to ask me one question." You reminded him. At the sound of your voice, Zenitsu turns around and has heart eyes.

"My wife is here!" Zenitsu exclaimed. For one second he looked happy to see you like he wanted to jump up to hug you. But then his heart eyes disappeared when he realized you're here. "Gah! Look away, my Goddess! You mustn't see me in this state!" Zenitsu cries.

"But Zenitsu, you look so cute like this. Look how small and vulnerable you are. I just want to squish your cheeks and cuddle with you." You cooed.

This makes him jump up and spin wildly in the air while laughing. His snot finally breaks off, freeing the poor Kakushi. "(Y/N) chan thinks I look cute! It's decided, I'm never taking this medicine! I'm gonna stay like this forever!" Zenitsu shouted.

"Zenitsu, you know (Y/N) chan didn't mean it. Stop twisting her words." Tanjiro frowns.

"Like I told you so many times, it's extremely vital for you to take this medicine four times a day! You need to stop being such a big baby!" Aoi scolded.

"NEVER! I'm not taking this medicine!"

"You HAVE to!"

I'm going to regret this. You put your arm on her shoulder and smiled. "Let me handle this. I think he'll listen to me. He'll take his medicine at the end of the day." You promised. Aoi let's out a sigh and gives you space. You climbed down from the Kakushi and headed over to the Pikachu. But the moment you took a step forward, your legs violently trembled in pain. You would've fallen over. If it weren't for Kiyo and Aoi who grabbed onto you. For a little girl like Kiyo, she sure is quick. You don't think you'll have a fast reaction at her age.

Zenitsu gasped when he saw how bloody your legs were. Seeing the dry blood on your legs, makes him burst into tears like a waterfall.

"Ahh! I have failed my future wife! I'm sorry I couldn't protect you!" He wailed.

"Don't worry about it, Zeni. I'm like the least injured Slayer in this room. Besides, I had Tanjiro to protect me." Whoops. That was the wrong thing to say. Now Zenitsu is all gloomy with jealousy. "But you know what you could do to make me feel better?" This makes him perk his head up. "If you take this medicine, I'll be very happy."

"But it's disgusting!"

"Please? For me?"

"I...but the medicine...it's..."

"I'll give you a kiss if you take it."

Everyone's jaws have dropped. Especially Tanjiro's who is completely flabbergasted. Zenitsu on the other hand is quivering in excitement. His face is scarlet red and his heart shaped eyes are back. Kiyo grabs your hands and attempts to pull you back.

"No, Miss! Don't do this! It's not worth it!" Kiyo cries.

"She's right! That crybaby can drop dead!" Aoi agreed.

"(Y/N) chan...there are other ways to make Zenitsu take his medicine. Please don't do this!" Tanjiro pleaded. You're surprised to see he's about to tear up. But why? Who cares if you're about to kiss Zenitsu. It's not like it's the end of the world.

"Let's do this!" Zenitsu exclaimed. He grabs the medicine and gulps it down in one chug. "I'm ready for my kiss, my Goddess!" He puckers up his lips and starts to lean forward towards you. Everyone watches in anticipation when they see you lean forward. It was so silent that one could hear the flaps of a butterfly that are outside. You gently placed a kiss on his warm cheek.

"There ya go!" You chirped.

"Eh? That's it?! You said you were gonna kiss me if I drank the medicine! This wasn't a kiss, this was a peck! How can you lie to me?! I trusted you!" Zenitsu ranted.

"I said I was gonna kiss you. I never said where, I was gonna do it. So technically I never lied." You corrected.

"Thank goodness!" Tanjiro exclaimed. Now all eyes are on him. "I-I'm not celebrating that Zenitsu didn't get kissed by (Y/N) chan in the mouth...I-I mean I was just worried that he'll get her sick if their lips made contact...y-you know." He stammered. Now he made everyone, including you, sweat drop.

"Anyway..." You trailed off. You grabbed Zenitsu's face and began to squish his soft cheeks. "You're so cute! I could do this forever." You squealed.

"Hahaha ha! Your hands are so warm, (Y/N) chan! Unlike Tanjiro and Inosuke who have rough hands." Zenitsu giggled.

At the mention of Inosuke's name, you stopped squishing his cheeks. How the fuck did you forget about Inosuke? Ignoring Zenitsu's whine that you stopped squishing his cheeks, you went over to Inosuke's bed. The poor boar is unrealistically quiet right now.

"Inosuke, are you okay? I'm so sorry I didn't check up with you sooner." You apologized.

"Don't...apologize...I have...failed you..." Inosuke spoke. You couldn't help, but gasp at the sound of his voice. You knew he would sound hoarse, but hearing it in person sounded like it hurts to talk. "I wasn't...strong enough...to take one...demon...down...I'm not worthy...of your training..." Inosuke said.

"You have nothing to apologize for, Inosuke. I'm sure you did great. After all, you are alive when so many others didn't make it. You are the King of the Mountain for a reason." You assured him. Besides if anyone's the weak one, it's me.

"(Y/N)'s right, Inosuke. You're alive now and now we all have the chance to get stronger together." Tanjiro added.

"I don't care about being stronger, just as long as I'm by my future wife's side." Zenitsu smiled.

You gave a fake smile at them, but slowly dropped it when they weren't paying attention. In your opinion you did horrible in this arc. Sure you took out the Mother spider, but you couldn't save Ozaki and the cocky Slayer. If you were truly summoned to save everyone, then you're doing a shit job.

"Now that you successfully got the crybaby to take his medicine, it's your turn to get medically checked out." Aoi said, interrupting your thoughts.

"I have to carry you again." The Kakushi said.

She picked you up on her back and followed Aoi and Kiyo to another room. In that room you stripped off your haori and uniform and changed into light blue pajamas. At least you think they're pajamas. Kiyo rolls up the pants sleeves for them to apply alcohol and ointment on your legs. You hissed every time they touched the cuts on your legs.

"Ah! I'm so sorry I'm hurting you, but we need to clean them up so that your legs won't get an infection." Kiyo apologized.

"It's fine. Keep going." You said.

This entire time you had a blank look on your face.

It's now evening, Zenitsu and Inosuke are fast asleep. You don't feel tired yet, so you accompanied Tanjiro to settle Nezuko in her room. Every step you take makes you wince in pain. You're hoping Tanjiro doesn't hear you wincing. You want him to focus on his sister. When you reach the room, Tanjiro sets her box down and you close the curtains so that the sun won't reach her. Nezuko crawls out her box and stares happily at her two favorite people

"Here ya go, Nezi. A room to yourself." You said. Another wave of stinging pain coarse through your legs. "Gah! I should sit down." You winced.

"Don't push yourself, (Y/N) chan. Your legs were badly cut. Why don't you sit on the bed and you...gah! My entire body hurts now. Tanjiro said while groaning. You took Tanjiro by the hand and made him sit on the bed.

"You need this more than I do. If it weren't for you, Nezuko and I would've been Rui's evil demon sisters. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you. I'm sorry that I was so weak that Nezuko had to come out to save you. I'm sorry I put her in danger in the first place." You apologized. You tried to hold it in, but the waterworks came pouring. You put your hands on your face as you sob uncontrollably. "I'm sorry! Please forgive me for being so weak! I keep breaking my promise to you that we'll get strong together! I'm so weak, that at this rate, I don't think I'll be able to see Leo again. I hate being so weak that I wish I could die!" You cried.

Two pairs of arms are wrapped around your trembling body. You uncovered some of your fingers to see it was the Kamado siblings hugging you. Tanjiro also has tears in his eyes while Nezuko is beaming at you. "Don't apologize, (Y/N) chan. None of what you said is true. You're strong. Stronger than you know. You're stronger than me, that's for sure." He assured you while smiling.

"You don't have to lie, Tanjiro. I wasn't strong enough to take down Rui. I sure as hell I wasn't strong enough to free myself from his threads. All I could do is watch helplessly as Rui beat you around! I should have fought him by your side at least! You deserve better than that!"

Tanjiro gently uncovered your hands and wiped the tears away. "But you did help me, (Y/N) chan. More than you could ever know. You were the one who told Inosuke and I to tangle up the controlled Slayers. You were the one who warned me how strong the giant spider demon was. But most importantly, you helped me remember my family's special dance move. You helped me remember the Hinokami Kagura. That move saved my life. Your smile encourages me to fight stronger. You are strong, (L/N) (Y/N). Don't you forget that."

"I...I...uhh...I don't know what to say."

Your face flushed into a rosy hue after hearing that. He's such a sweet friend to say that about you, but this isn't enough to cheer you up.

"Though I have one question, if you don't mind me asking."

"What is it?"

"During the battle with Rui, you kept telling me to remember my family. At first I thought you were talking about Nezuko and that I need to keep fighting for her. Then I realized you were talking about my Father and his legacy he left for me. That's what made me remember the Hinokami Kagura and the breathing technique that my Father used to perform the dance. The entire time you kept shouting at me to remember my family and I have a feeling that you somehow knew about the Hinokami Kagura. So my question to you is, how do you know about things that have yet to come?"

Surprisingly your blood didn't freeze cold or that your heart didn't skip a beat. You're not surprised by Tanjiro realizing how you seem to know everything about anyone. Tanjiro is a smart guy, it's only a matter of time before he starts to put the pieces together.

Tanjiro smells an emotion coming out of you. He lightly gasped when he smelled relief? Wait, his nose isn't playing tricks on him. He's definitely smelling relief from you.

"I'm tired, Tanjiro. So tired of trying to make a difference, changing nothing. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna stop. I will never stop trying to save everyone. So only to you, I will trust with my secret." You said. Tanjiro leans forward to you in anticipation. But you quickly changed your mind. It's too soon to let him know your greatest secret. Though you also don't want to disappoint him. "Not yet, Tanji. I'm sorry I led you on, but I'm leaving it up to fate." You apologized.

"What do you mean by that?" Tanjiro asked.

"If, and I mean if no one dies on our next mission, I'll tell you everything. I never told you everything about me and I'm sorry for that. But I was afraid I'd mess everything up if you knew the truth about me. I just want one mission where I can save everyone. Though I fear you'll look at me differently. I just want you to see me as me, your friend. And by some miracle I do succeed, I'll answer your question. Even at the risk if you end up fearing me." You promised.

Tanjiro placed his hands over your own and held it up. ""No matter what you tell me, I will always lov- care about you. And if there's some hesitation, then it's on me. Okay?" He assures you.

You nodded while holding back your tears. A soft snore is heard next to you making you look down. Nezuko has her head on your lap as she is sound asleep. This is what puts a smile on your face. You softly move a strand of her hair that is covering her face and tucked it behind her ear. "She looks so peaceful. I almost feel guilty for leaving her here." You said.

"Because you're alive, Nezuko is able to sleep peacefully. And don't worry about leaving her alone. She'll be sleeping for a whole day so she won't notice." Tanjiro said. He then gets up and holds his hand out to you. "Now it's our turn to catch some sleep."

You took his hand and got up. As you're exiting the room, you pass by a mirror. You're focusing on your eyes. More specifically the five shines that are surrounding your (e/c) orbs. It's these eyes the reason why Master Kagaya took an interest in you. It's like those shines symbolize a prophecy that's coming true. But you're not the only one who has these shines. Leo had them too when he was still human. Is he a part of saving this world too? He has too cause why else is he here?

This is all too frustrating! Ever since arriving in this world, you have had many questions. But now you have even more questions. What about you makes you so special? Is Leo the true chosen one and you're just here to help him? Thinking all this makes you want to pull your hair out. Only time will tell. That is if you make it this far.
