nicolette and isabella swan were entirely two different people for being so similar. the sisters enjoyed spending time with each other, trading off books, watching cheesy rom-coms, and other typical sisterly activities. but of course, everyone has their differences.

bella was more closed off and shut down easily when she felt a distaste for anything. nicci was somewhat like that, but more open. nicolette spoke of her discomforts when she knew it was her place to. nobody had to make accommodations for her, she knew that, but voicing about the things she could control was important to her. most people saw that as disrespectful and unladylike. she didn't care. she found boundaries were important, it's not her fault no one else did.

bella looked more like charlie, their father, with her dark brown wavy hair, deep brown rounded eyes, and defined face while nicci inherited more of her mothers looks. she had gotten her mothers light wavy chestnut hair, baby-blue eyes, pointed nose, and somehow thin eyebrows (that she didn't know could be considered hereditary). and despite nicci's strained relationship with her mother, she was glad that she got to look like her.

paul was a famously known hot-head. so when he phased into a large wolf, it didn't come as a surprise to the people who knew of the quileute stories and legends. everyone tried to help him the best they could, but the boy was also very stubborn which left no room for help. but thankfully sam uley could find ways to tame paul...a bit.

of course things were rocky at the beginning, and things continued to be rocky all throughout their entire relationship as the rest of the pack began to grow, but it was a bond. a bond that weirdly no one else had with the alpha. the two shapeshifters were connected somehow. either by someplace, something, or more accurately...someone.
