When I came out from the venue my eyes just wanted to see a glimpse of her. Because I don't feel good, I just have this thought going on in my mind that if she would be okay or not .When I saw tears in her eyes, I felt a different pain in my heart, such a pain as if I could not bear her tears.I have never felt the way I did after seeing you, till today I have seen so many people crying in front of me but their tears did not make any difference to me.But her tears have made me uneasy. Where did she go? My eyes are searching for her everywhere, but she is nowhere to be seen .
Today she had to hear so much just because of me, if I had not troubled her then all this would not have happened. But till now I have never behaved with anyone like I did with her, nor have I ever felt so free to be in front of anyone except my family. There was a different feeling i was experiencing with her, I was thinking as if that moment with her had stopped there. I had become a free child in front of her.But whatever it was, I should have prevented all that misunderstanding. I should have stopped Mrs Chaturvedi at that very moment when she started scolding her unnecessarily, accusing her without knowing anything,At least she should have listened to her point. Thinking all this, I sit in my car, and my car starts towards the restaurant where my meeting is scheduled.
After sitting in the car I think again that let it be all this aside,the main point is what did I do? I was standing there like a statue. I could have solved this matter right there, but I did not say anything.And when she looked at me and said sorry with moist eyes, why couldn't I say anything? Why was I standing there like an idiot. Aaahhhh God, what must she be thinking about me? She must be thinking how arrogant I am."By the way, you are arrogant" my mind mocked me ." My thinking stopped when my PA Ayush said to me ," Sir, we have reached". That's when i looked here and there to find out that we had actually reached the restaurant.I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even realize when we reached here. I nod at my PA and he came out of the car from the passenger seat and opens the side of my door . Then I got out of my car and moved forward, my PA walks behind me with some bodyguards around myself to cover me, Because after coming into this industry we can't take any risk , we don't know when which anime will attack us.
My PA has already reserved a seat for us, and I went to my seat. There was some time left for this meeting to start, so I started to check the file once again.Because we cannot take the risk of letting this deal slip away at any cost. This deal can be very important for us and our company.
After a while the clock strikes 5 and Mr. Rawat comes towards the table with his team."I must say he is very punctual to his time , and i like those people who gives importance to time ." I muttered this to myself and told him to take seat . Then we started to discuss on the project . After half an hour as soon as I ended my presentation Mr.Rawat says. I would really appreciate your presentation is very impressive.
To this i replied with a smile " This is all the dedication and hardwork of our company's employees and I am glad to know that you liked it. On this Mr. Rawat says, It's nice to hear that you give first priority to the hard work of your company's employees. And that is why I would love to give you this deal, because I can see the ability in you that no one else will be able to do this project better than you.so let's sign the deal.
I couldn't believe that he had agreed to give us this deal. And I tell them that ,"Thank you for having so much faith in us,and I can assure you that your faith will not be broken" After saying this we sign the deal and shakes our hands and then Mr. Rawat leaves the place with his team .when they left I turn towards my PA and say to him in my cold voice "They have shown so much trust in us, so I want you to take care that there is no mistake in this project, And if possible, try to finish it before the deadline without any mistakes, understood?"
And the sudden reply of my PA came ," Yes sir, there will be no mistake in this, I will take full care of it." After hearing this, I answer him by nodding and then we go from there towards the office.
After reaching office, I call my PA to the cabin and say "Ayush,Do one thing, Get me the details about the girl who was assisting us today in the exhibition. Tell our investigation team that i want her details tomorrow on my table."
Ayush was looking at me as if he was shocked after hearing what I said, but he could not even say anything to me, so he said OK sir and went away. After he leaves, I get busy in my work.
After some time, the gate of my cabin opens and guess what, my friend kabir Purohit comes inside showing his teeth to me grinning like a monkey . Firstly, I don't understand why I made friends with him.And I haven't even made him my friend, this man has been following me since school days. And since then we have become inseparable friends.But whatever it is, he has always stood by me, be it my happiness or sadness. I never say this, but this man is as close to my heart as my siblings, And it's good that I don't tell him otherwise he would start dancing like a monkey out of happiness.
My trance breaks when Kabir speaks to me. Brother, how was the deal? To this i replied as him " as usual It went as we had planned, they liked our presentation and we signed the deal." Hearing this, his face showed how happy he was because as a COO of the company, he had also worked hard on this project. And he replied "Brother I knew, this deal would be ours only. "Just shut up, it's not such a big deal that you are reacting to it in this way " to this he replied ..
" Are bhai ye badii deal hai , tu ese kisi khayalon me kho kar muskuraye ya fir esa kahe kee kisi ke khayalon me kho kar with smirk lingering on his lips , chal ab bataa bhii de ab kya baat hai aur kon hai wo ? ...
(Hey brother, this is a big deal, you smile while lost in some thoughts or i must say in someone thoughts ( with smirk lingering on his lips), come on tell me what is the matter now and who is she?.)
To his this comment i just shrugged at tell him ... " Nothing is like that , your are being crazy and exaggerating this . Now go and check on the file of Mr. Mathur . tomorrow I want that file on my table . Understand ? "
"Khadoos " ( Rude ) muttering this he left my cabin which i heard it because of the silence in cabin. But before i could start my work he again peeked from the door of my cabin and said . " Bhai tu kuch bhii bol le par tu kisi na kisi ladki ke khayaalon me to jarur tha " ( Brother, you can say whatever you want, but you were definitely in the thoughts of some girl .)
As soon as he said this he ran away from my cabin.To his this act i chuckled and shaked my head on his antics.
I again engrossed in my work and when the clock striked 8 pm i stood from my seat , grabbed my coat and left from the cabin towards the parking where my driver was already standing there with the car as Ayush have already informed him get the car ready . After sitting in my car I left for my home .
As soon as I reach home, I met my mother who was arranging the dining table for the dinner and she on seeing me coming she stopped me by saying .... "It's good son you came on time ,Now go and get fresh'n up, by then I will get food served on the dining table,other members will also be coming down at any time." On this I tell my mother.. Okay, I will come down in few minutes
After saying thi i moved towards the stairs but get stopped when my mom suddenly ask .... "Waise beta uss schoal exhibition ka kya hua jisme maine tumhe bheja tha..? Sab acche se to hua na.?"
("By the way, son, what happened to the school exhibition to which I sent you? Did everything go well, didn't it?")
" Aaj sabko kya ho gaya hai , sab mujhse aaj exhibition ke baare me hee kyun puch rahe hain , waise to koi kuch nahii puchta hai kabhii bhii." ("What has happened to everyone today, why is everyone asking me about the exhibition today, no one ever asks me anything.") I muttered this to myself and replied my mom with a smile ." Maa sab theek gaya , aap tension na lo " ("Mother, everything went good , don't take any stress.")
On this my mother smiled and said,"Okay, now go and freshen up, you smell of sweat." Chukling on this i straight went to my room and took a nice shower and went downstairs after wearing some casual to have dinner.As soon as I reached the dining table, I saw that everyone was already present there. I sit on my chair, put food in my plate and start eating.
When i was eating my food , i saw my mother nudging my father and by that i predict something is coming on my way but what i from my father left me in a shocked stated he said ...
" Beta humne tumhare liye ek ladki pasand kee hai aur kal shaam hum sab wahaan uske ghar jaa rahe hain use dekhne ke liye Aur tumhe bhii hamare saath chalna hai ."
(Son, we have chosen a girl for you and tomorrow evening we are all going to her house to see her and you also have to come with us.")
And before i could say anything he said " Aur mai tumhari isme ek nahii sununga tum chal rahe ho to bass chal rahe ho and that's my final decision "
(And I will not listen to you in this, if i said you are coming then you are coming and that's my final decision ")
At this moment I am feeling only one thing and that is...shocked......
