I have never been to India so I am excited to go and see atleast few places.

She told me that 'Delhi' is her home place. Which is actually capital of India.

That's cool!

After we landed, we took a cab. In the cab I looked outside and Suahni showed me few places we are passing through.

Seeing all this I can take my mind away from her dad for some time.

Looking to my side I can see that she is excited to show me everything. Her school, college.

I smiled at her and kissed her forehead.

Nearly one hour later we reached her house. We both got out after paying the cab and near the front door.

She ranged the bell and waited. Few minutes later the door opened and some elder man stood infront of us.

"Suhani!" he said happily and hugged her.

She smiled and released herself.

"Dad meet him." She gestured me and nudged me.

At that point he turned towards me giving me hard stare.

I cleared my throat and said "I am Mattew Harper. Nice to meet you sir."

He nodded and said "So you both got married?"

"Dad! It happened more than one year before." She said and dragged me inside when her dad moved away.

"I know I should have come way before near you and meet you. But I was just busy with the company." He said stopping us.

"I know dad. I never expected that you will even come there. So no worries." She said giving him a smile but I can see that it didn't reach her eyes.

"I am tired. We both will take rest for some time." She said and dragged me again without hearing his reply.

Now I can understand how she felt when I always dragged her everywhere.

After we entered inside, she closed her eyes and rubbed her temple.

I turned her around and held her head saying "I am here."

She opened her eyes and smiled. "I know! If you want to rest you can." She said gesturing her bed.

"I am fine." I said and looked at the wall to see an elder version of Suhani.

She saw where I am looking and said "That's my mother."

"She just looks like you." I said without thinking.

"Huh!" she said looking at me laughing.

"I mean you just look like her." I corrected it but she continued laughing.

"You!" I shouted and lifted her making her shriek and threw her on her bed.

I hovered over her and she just continued laughing and said "She just looks like you" imitating my voice.

I stopped her laughing kissing her hard. She immediately reacted to me.

I released her and said "I will do it again whenever you tease me."

"Hmm..maybe I should tease you more often." She said looking at me.

I looked at her shocked and just stayed like that. She saw my expression and laughed.

"What? You are looking at me like I just flirted with some other man and not my husband." She said laughing.

"You amaze me everyday Suhani." I said looking at her.

She looked at me for a few seconds and said "When there is no love between two people that is the better thing to do Matt."

I didn't expect this so I just stared at her. I moved away from her and laid down beside her.

"Why don't you take rest? I will go and freshen up. We need to go down for lunch after some time." She said getting up.

I didn't reply but just looked at her every moment. When she opened the cupboard and took some dress and went inside the washroom.

What just happened?

After few minutes I closed my eyes and then felt like someone waking me up.

I opened my eyes still feeling sleepy and heard "Matt wake up. I am going to the dining table and help to place the plates. You get freshen up and come there."

"Sure!" I said not seeing anything clearly.

When I heard the doors closed I woke up and went inside the washroom taking my clothes.

After getting ready I went outside our room and went near the dining table where I saw Suhani and her Dad sitting calmly.

I offered small smile to him and sat beside her. She started serving food for all of us.

When she completed serving I started eating my food.

The moment I put some put inside my mouth I just want to shout. But I didn't say anything.

Suhani had one spoon and immediately looked at me.

"It is spicy right. I will go and make something else for you." she said with concern and started getting up.

"What? He can't even bear this little spice." Mr.Harish said mocking.

"Dad!" she shouted at him and stood up.

"Sit down Babe. I can eat it." I said pushing her on to the seat.

"But.." she started saying but I cut her off and said "I am fine."

She nodded reluctantly and we all continued eating it. She kept on glancing at me to see am I ok or not.

I am trying my best to not show how spicy it is. It is not that much like it was the day when she took revenge but it is spicy.

I completed quickly and said "I need to make some calls. I will go to our room."

She looked at me like she understood what I am saying. I nodded once at her dad and immediately rushed inside our room.

I went inside her bathroom and started brushing my teeth. Why do they even eat that much spice?

How are they bearing it? But I felt happy when she was so concerned about me.

I am dying in my mouth but couldn't help but smile too.

After it down a little I washed my face and went outside to our room to see Suahni already sitting there on our bed.

She looked gloomed. "Babe!" I said and went near her.

"Are you ok? Here eat this. I made this small sweet so that it will be good for your mouth." She said and gave me a bowl of something.

I kept it aside on the bedside table and hugged her.

"I am fine Babe. It is not that much." I said assuring.

"Now onwards I will cook for all of us don't worry." She said hugging me.

I released her and said "I am fine. Only little effect is there."

She smiled and kissed me taking me by surprise. I smiled and released her.

"I will eat food like that many more if you do this." I said.

She blushed a little and said "You are not allowed to kiss me anymore then."

"Really?" I asked her challenging.

"Really!" she replied and rushed out of our room.

I chuckled shaking my head but heard her saying "Oh I forgot to tell you. Our relatives will come tomorrow to meet you."

I nodded and sat on our bed. I dig out my mobile and called my secretary to tell me about any important details.

In the evening I went inside the living room to see that her father is sitting there looking outside.

I sat down beside him and said "Hello!"

He looked at me surprised and said "So what do you do in New York?"

That's how I started explaining about my company and we both shared about something we know.

"I am impressed. I just hope you will not do the mistake I did and doing." He said looking outside.

"Excuse me?" I asked him not understanding.

"I just wrapped myself in the company that I never spent good time with my family. I know she is disappointed in me. I just send her away immediately after her mom died. I didn't know that my brother and his wife were torturing her like this. I wish I didn't and even now after she got married I didn't stopped it. I hope you will not get yourself wrapped in the work like I did." He explained sighing.

I am speechless. I mean until now I thought that she came to New York as her wish but I didn't know about this at all.

I am such a stupid husband. I shook my head and said "Trust me I can't get myself wrapped up in my work even if I want to. She will definitely always be my first priority."

He smiled at me. Finally otherwise I can't stay here taking his glaring.

"I am glad that she married you. You love her so much right?" he asked me.

I looked at him not knowing what to answer but got saved by Suhani.

When she started talking I wished that she didn't save me because she said "Dad! What stupid questions you are asking him? Come on someone from your company is here to meet you."

When he left confused, she sat beside me and said "Sorry for that question he asked you. If you had said 'No', he would have punched you. And I don't want to make you lie. Now come on let's go."

I followed her and saw that she is taking me to her garden and made me sit on a swing present. She sat beside me and we swinged together.

"I love this you know. The garden and sitting on this swing in the evening." She said gazing around.

"Really?" I asked her amazed.

"Yeah! I and my Mom used to sit here and talk non-stop." She replied remembering something.

"And your Dad?" I asked her slowly.

She snorted but didn't say anything and didn't even meet my eye.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked her.

She looked at me and said "What's there to talk? He doesn't love me as simple as that. It is not a new thing actually. There are many people in my life that doesn't."

She said so bitterly that I had to close my eyes. I pulled her to my lap and hugged her tightly.

She didn't cried like I thought she would. She is keeping all the pain inside her.

I never thought I am one of the people that are hurting her this much............

There are many feelings in this chap. Hope it is ok.....

I know you guys are still waiting for him to confess. He will definitely like i alreadys aid he is stupid..............

But i hope that you all can see that he loves her at least i hope i expressed it...........
