I saw Kisaki reaching for the gun; it grazed his fingertips. He kicked Y/N in the stomach, which made her loosen her grip on Kisaki's neck, which gave him the perfect opportunity to grab the gun.
"Y/N, LOOK OUT!" I soon as I yelled to warn her. I heard two shots go off. I couldn't open my eyes. I just shut them, and tears started to roll down my face.
"It's going to take a lot more than that to kill me," Y/N said, coughing. She jumps back on Kisaki and starts fighting him again.
"Y/N STOP!" I yelled, hoping, praying she would just listen to me. The fact that I couldn't do anything but the watch was killing me.
"TAKEMICHI!" Y/N said. Snapping me out of my sorrow. "I'M NOT JUST GOING TO ROLL OVER AND DIE! Kisaki already made it apparent that I'm not getting out here alive, so I might as well take him with me."
I saw something shiny on the floor; it was Y/N's knife! "Y/N HEADS UP!" I said, kicking the knife in her direction. She didn't hesitate to grab it and ram it in Kisaki's side. Kisaki screamed in agony.
"If you want to kill me, you're not getting out of here unscathed." Y/N said, ramming the knife in Kisaki's leg, "You might have to crawl away now," Y/N let out a chuckle.
"W- what are you doing just standing there," Kisaki said, referring to the men behind her.
"Seems like your little buddies don't think you're worth saving. Goodbye Kisaki," Y/N lifted the knife about her head, ready to dig it into Kisaki. One second, I heard a loud noise, and the next silence, I could only hear the sound of Y/N metal knife falling from her hand to the floor. When I look up, Y/N is falling on the alleyway, concrete with her knife next to her.
"Y/N!" I yelled frantically, ripping myself from the man holding me back and sprinting to her. I dropped down on my knees and held Y/N.
"Long time no see Y/N," The figure walking out of the dark alley into the more illuminated section to reveal HANMA!
The distance sound of police sirens could be heard, and as if the sky was crying, I felt cold waterdrops start falling from the sky.
"Hmm, seems like that's our cue to leave Kisaki," Hanma said, walking to Kisaki. "You made a big mess today. You're lucky I was here today, Kisaki." He said, bending down to Kisaki's level. "Come on, boys pick him up," he said to the other guys there.
"WAIT! YOU CAN LEAVE!" I yelled. This was unfair! Why do they get to leave with no punishment, but Y/N is fighting for her life right now!
"And what's stopping us from leaving?" Hanma looked back.
I was! I was going to stop them; this all can't be for anything! I went to get up, but I couldn't even get a few feet off the ground before Y/N tugged on me and shook her head.
"Why there right there! I can catch-"
"No, you can't. This will all be for nothing if you were to die here." She paused for a second before coughing up a large amount of blood. My face went pale, knowing the possible outcome of this.
"Haha, this doesn't look good," she said with a smile, trying to make light of the situation. "Hey, Takemichi, if I die-"
"You're not dying," I cut her off.
"Takemichi, please just listen," she held my hand. "Tell my sister that I'm sorry." Tears ran down her face " Takemichi, live a life with no regrets; you don't have to hold the weight of the world on your should depend on people to support you," she took a deep breath in because it was getting harder and harder for her to breath "and tell Naoto that he tried his best and that I'm sorry I was a pain in his ass" she chuckled then pause for a minute. " I know you're still in love with Hina. I knew that I could never be her, and I never wanted to replace her. I think, I think we found comfort in each other's loneliness. It might not have been the realist form of affection, but it was comforting."
I just stood there holding her listening to what might be her last words.
"Takemichi, do you believe that there's an afterlife, where we can see all the people we've lost."
"I'd like the believe that," I said with a smile contradicting my tears.
"That's good. I hope I get to see Baji and Cl-"
Y/N hand loosened its grip from my hand, but I grabbed it tighter. I didn't want to believe the horrible reality in front of me. Naoto and the police finally arrived a little after that, but it was too late for Y/N. Naoto saw the blood covering the street, and when he saw Y/N, I could see his knees buckle. The paramedics tried to take her body away but I didn't let them, after some convincing from Naoto I let them take her.
I need to go back! IT CAN'T ALL END LIKE THIS. This time I'll make things different this time, and I'll start with not even letting Y/N near the battle of Bloody Halloween.
I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter ('▽'ʃ♡ƪ). I've been having to deal with stuff on the side, as well as the crushing amount of homework my teachers are giving me. Hopefully, I can post back to normal now! Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience (;'༎ຶД༎ຶ')
