I sit on my couch switching through channels on the T.V "what an uneventful day," I say, sighing in boredom. I can't stop thinking about Hanma and our deal; something feels off somehow, and why OUT OF EVERYONE? WHY IS HE THE ONE IN MY THOUGHTS. Buzzz Buzzz. I jumped at the sudden vibration. I checked my phone and saw that Takemichi texted me his .... location? Maybe it was an accident? I thought of ignoring it, but I might at well go. I have nothing better to do. I put on my helmet and hopped on my motorcycle, a Kawasaki ZX-10R 2005 in black with painted red Spider Lilies on the sides, enveloping the bike.
****
I arrived at the location that Takemichi had sent me. I don't see him, but I hear somebody talking. "Why don't you give up already? Your friend here is injured, and you look like you're about to pass out," a man says. I walk behind the buildings to see Takemichi and Chifuyu beat up, and three of what I'm guessing are highschooler in front of them.
"Hey there, what going on here" I shouted, catching everyone's attention. "YOU CAME" Takemichi yelled. "What are you doing here, Y/N? It's dangerous," Chifuyu said in pain. "HUH? Who are you?" the taller guy said. The two other guys trembled and bowed behind him. He turns to them, "What are you guys doing?" The tall one said, "sh-show some respect, man, that's The Red Spider" one of the guys bowing spoke up.
"Ah, I see you know who I am then" I looked down at them, "I don't think I've seen you before. You're probably no one of importance than," As I said that, the tall guy lifted his hand to hit me, as I was trying to choose where to strike him, but then Chifuyu stood in front of me. "Don't hurt her your business is with me," he said. How cute he thinks I'm defenseless. "Chifuyu moves, your injured," I said, concerned but annoyed. "ARE YOU CRAZY" he replied. Right, he just thinks I'm Baji's friend he doesn't know. I hit his vagus nerve, causing him to pass out; he would only get harmed if he got in my way. I gave Chifuyu to Takemichi. "I'll trust you to take care of him." "Come at me, big guy," I said to the tall guy.
The guy swings, but I dodge. "You're slow, and your movements are sloppy," I said, making the man angrier; I hit his vagus nerve to try and get him to pass out, but he had more muscle than I thought I needed to hit harder. As I go back to a fighting stance, Takemichi yells, "BE CAREFUL RED" just for a second; I lose concentration; I didn't expect him to say that. I'm usually just a pawn in someone's game, but he was worried? I didn't see the guy coming, and the guy managed to hit my face. DAM IT, THIS IS NO TIME TO BE DISTRACTED.
I spit out some blood that was in my mouth on the ground. "HAHAHAHAH, YOU HIT LIKE A BITCH" I said, laughing at him. The man grabbed a pole from the ground. "At first, I wanted to hurt you. But, now, I want to kill you," the man says. I stop "all right then, kill me," I said seriously. "What?" the man said. "I said, kill me" I stepped closer towards him, and he walked back in fear. Maybe it was the look on my face or the fact that I told him to kill me, but he was scared shitless.
I pointed to the side of my neck. "This area contains the Carotid Artery and the Jugular Vein; if you cut me here, I'll bleed to death," I said, not taking my eyes off him ."WHAT ARE YOU DOING RED" Takemichi said. "That pole looks sharp enough," I said. The guy trembled like he was in a trance; he wanted to look away and run, but his body wouldn't let him. I inch closer to his face. I could see the sweat running down his face, and his eyes opened wider the closer I got. I grabbed the pole and, in one swift and fast movement, aimed it inches away from his neck, "don't talk about killing someone unless you're going to do it." I threw the pole a far distance and took out a pocket knife I had in my pocket; I grabbed his hand and carved an R on his palm.
"There, this mark is there for you to remember me and for me to know to never do business with you or your gang in the near future, consider it a slap on the wrist and be thankful," I said, "Y-yes ma'am," they ran off as soon as they could.
"Hey Takemichi, are you alright," I said, rushing over to him. Takemichi looked so scared of me at that very moment. I bent down to him and said, "let's get you, and Chifuyu patched up." Takemichi didn't talk, just moved, I led him to my bike, and I sat in front while an unconscious Chifuyu was squished between Takemichi and me.
We finally reached my apartment; I led them up and opened the door. I placed Chifuyu on the couch while Takemichi sat on the floor. I tried talking to break the silence "hey, I was only kidding, you know, I wouldn't actually let him kill me." "Why- why did you cut him? Was that really necessary," he said. "How do you think I have the reputation I have," I sighed. "Takemichi, you want to know why I was so interested in you," I said. Takemichi lifts his eyes to meet my gaze. "It's because you seem so different than all the delinquents I worked with" I pause for a second "a part of me wants to believe that not everyone has to be bad; you- you give me hope. I wish that one day we don't need to use our fists and hurt others to survive in this world," I said, a tint of sadness in my voice.
"Anyways, stay here. I'll go get my first aid kit" I turned and walked over to a closet near the bathroom, grabbing the first aid kit and washing my hands. I walk over to Takemichi and hold some gauze with some alcohol. I looked at him for a second, signaling that I was going to use the gauze on him so he wasn't scared. I rubbed it over the cuts on his face. "OWWWW," Takemichi yelled "sorry," I replied.
"How did you two get into that mess anyway," I said. "Well, I saw someone fighting; I haven't seen him before, but he had a Toman uniform, so I went to help," Takemichi said with sincerity. "JEEZ, you're helpless, you know," I said, smacking my head. "Huh?" Takemichi responded, "Your gonna get hurt one day if you keep on doing that; you need to rely on other people, you know," I said. "That's funny coming from you, Ms. loner," He said, "I can handle my own, though, thank god you texted me, or that could have ended very differently," I replied.
Buzz Buzz Takemichi's phone rang. "Sorry, I have to take this" he walked to the kitchen for some privacy, but I could slightly hear him. "Hey, Mikey ... I'm at Red's house... HUH... WAIT WAIT MIKEY HELLO?" he walked back to the living room. "Is everything ok?" I asked. "Sooooo uhhh Mikey might be coming here," he said with a forced a smile "oh ok-WAIT WHAT? How does he even know where I live?!" I yelled. "Your right, then you have nothing to worry about; he doesn't know where you li-" AND AS IF MY LIFE WAS A PART OF A FUCKING COMEDY SKIT, I HEAR A KNOCK ON THE DOOR. "There's no way that Mikey," Takemichi said. Yeah, there is no possible way that it's Mikey. I open the door and..... IT'S FUCKING MIKEY.
Mikey pushes me aside and walks directly to Takemichi. "What the hell are you doing here," Mikey said to Takemichi. "Isn't that suppose to be my line?" I said. "Sorry for the intrusion," Draken said, bowing before taking off his shoes and joining Mikey. Well, at least he apologized. While those three were fighting, I took this as a chance to tend to Chifuyu's wounds. I grabbed the first aid kit and walked over to him. "Stop right there," Mikey demanded. "Or what, you'll hurt me for helping someone," I said back. "Why didn't you go to the hospital?" Mikey said, glaring at me. "Quit your glaring; I didn't bring them to a hospital because they have minor injuries, plus my house is closer," I said. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN MINOR INJURIES CHIFUYU IS LITERALLY UNCONSCIOUS? ARE YOU BLIND," Mikey said. "NO, I AM NOT BLIND, and he passed out bc I hit a pressure point; he'll wake up in a bit.
Mikey walked over and grabbed my shirt, and put his face close to mine. "You did this?" Mikey said. "MIKEY WAIT WAIT," Takemichi said. Takemichi then proceeds to explain everything that happened. "That still doesn't explain why she caused him to pass out," Draken said, looking at me. "Are you serious! I did it so that he didn't injure himself more. Jeez, I am human, you know, I have feelings like SYMPATHY" I paused for a second, looking at Chifuyu. "Now, if you'll excuse me," I remove Mikey's hands from my shirt, "and let me help Chifuyu." Mikey looked at me, feeling a little guilty for jumping to conclusions "fine, whatever." YEAH, I HOPE YOU FEEL GUILTY. I DID NOTHING WRONG.
I finished patching up Chifuyu when he suddenly started to wake up. "Huh, where am I? How long was I out for." I hugged him tight and began to fake cry. "Oh god, I thought you would never wake up. IT'S BEEN MONTHS," I said, hiding my laughter as tears. "HUH," Chifuyu screams but with hearing Draken and Takemichi laughing, he figured out it was a joke. "BAJI WAS RIGHT YOU ARE, SINISTER," Chifuyu yells. "Oh, come one, it was just a joke; you've. only been out for an hour," I said. "You gotta admit she got you good," Draken said, trying not to laugh.
"How do you know Baji?" Mikey said; I turned to him "how do YOU know, baji" I said. "Well, Baji is my friend. I've known him since we were little kids, and he in To-" just before he was going to finish, Mikey spots Chifuyu behind me, waving every possible symbol for Mikey to stop talking. Mikey did not get the memo and said, "what are you doing, Chifuyu?" I looked back to see what he was talking about, but Chifuyu was just looking around. "He's also a part of Toman," Mikey said, causing Chifuyu to smack his head. "THAT FUCKER! NO WONDER, I COULDN'T FIND HIS ASS," I said; I walked up to Mikey and put a hand on his shoulder "you know you're not half bad; I don't hate you anymore," I said with a huge ass smile.
Mikey looked at me so confused "what the hell are you talking about" he turned to Chifuyu "am I missing something?" I look and Mikey and put both of my hands on his shoulders, and look at him intensely. "Hey, Mikey, why don't we make a business deal?" "Absolutely not," he says, turning away from me. "Why not?" I groaned. "Because I don't like your way of business, it's exactly was a stand against, and you won't be any use for my end goal of creating a new age for delinquents," he states. "I'm not saying I want to join your little blonde gang or whatever, just that if you need information on something or help to win a certain fight, you can call me," I said, trying to get him to accept. "And I'm saying I don't need you," he replied, frustrated that I was not taking no as an answer. "What is your end goal here? Why do you work for so many gangs, huh?" "Well, if I'm going to answer your questions, you have to do something for me," I said. "There's no use talking to you," Mikey said back. "Let's go before her parents come home." He says, walking away with his friends. "Actually, I live alone; that's what happens when you have a good business; it's foolish not to make a deal with me," I said, now a little pissed. "You wanting to make a deal with me so badly is all the more reason not to," Mikey said, closing the door of my apartment. I'll keep on asking, and I'll make you realize that Toman needs me.

Takemichi's POV
I've made a lot of progress so far, but I need to know more about Y/N. I need to see how they affect the future. I didn't think there would be any reason to go back, but maybe with her help, I could stop Draken from dying. I walk to Hina's apartment. I knock and wait for a reply; lucky for me, Naoto opens the door. "Oh hey, Takemichi, are you here for Hina? I'll get her for you," Naoto said. "No, actually, I'm here to see you," I said; you don't know it, but we make a great team Naoto. "Uh, ok," Naoto says, "Promise me you'll protect your sister for me" I stick out my hand for him to shake. "You're a weird one, Takemichi," Naoto says, shaking my hand.
I wake up to a room; where's Naoto? "Takemichi your back," Naoto says, coming into the room. "NAOTO! I came back because I needed some information on someone and how they impact the future; her. name is Y/N," I said. "That's right, Y/N wasn't in my memory in the first timeline. Maybe she wasn't with the Tokyo Manji gang, or maybe she died?" Naoto said, trying to think of ever possibly why she's of importance now. "Naoto, we don't have time for this. Did Draken still die, and where is Y/N now?" I said in a hurry to go back. "Yes, Draken still died, but the person that was charged for the murder wasn't Kiyomasa, " Naoto paused. "I was Y/N."
WHAT! Y/N SHE WOULDN'T DO THAT, WOULD SHE? THERE'S NO WAY I HAVE TO CONFIRM THIS MYSELF. "Naoto, where is Y/N now?" I said, "What are you planning to do?" Naoto said, he knew what Takemichi was going to say, but he wanted to hear it. "I need to know what really happened that day," I said. "It's written on the police report; what more proof do you need! She did it," Naoto said. "I don't believe it. She wouldn't, at least not without a good reason; I need to talk to her!" I said, and I'm not going to back down.
Naoto groaned in frustration "fine," he pulled out a piece of paper and started to write an address on it "this is one of the clubs she owns; if my sources are correct, she should be here today." Naoto reluctantly gives Takemichi the paper. "Thank you, Naoto. I'll come back soon and save Hina."
I walked to the club that Naoto wrote on the paper. Wow, this place looks fancy. I make my way to the front door to get in when I'm stopped by a security guard. "Invitation?" He says, looking down at me. Invitation? "Uhhh, I need to speak with Y/N," I said. "Doesn't everyone?" The bodyguard says, rolling his eyes. "Ok, but I need to speak with her; it's really important," I said, now anxious at the possibility that I might not get in. "Without an invitation, you can't come in," he says.
"Hey, Dox, what seems to be the problem," a woman said, talking to the security guard. "Ms. Red, I'm sorry for the disturbance. This man was trying to get in without an invitation. I'll just give him a lesson real quick; no need to worry," he said, referring to me. Red? Is that Y/N? But she looks so different? Y/N looked at me, and I could see her eyes go wide for just a second, then she regained her composer. "That's alright, Dox. I'll take this one," she said as she walked over to me "let's take a walk."
We walked on the outside of the building to the roof. When we finally got to the rooftop, Y/N stopped but didn't turn around to look at me. "What are you doing here Takemichi," Y/N said. "I'm here to find out what really happened on August 3, twelve years ago."
"August 3, I remember that day as if it was yesterday. That day was the day my life ended," she said with pure anger. "I know you didn't kill Draken," I said. "Why are you coming to me now about this? It happened twelve years ago" she stared at me with annoyance. "I want to know what really happened that day, every detail."
"You know how I do business, Takemichi, if I tell you, you're going to have to do something for me," she says. I don't have time to not accept her deal. "Fine, I accept." "Alright, then Takemichi, I'll tell you everything that happened that night."
"On July 20, I got a job from Hanma to "help" him on August 3." Hanma, who's that? " I wanted to prove to Toman that they needed me, so I took the job as soon as I heard it was against Toman. Since Hanma knew I was desperate for this opportunity, he told me that I needed to do him a favor when the time came. I regret accepting that deal with my whole existence. As August third rolled closer, I got ready for the big battle. When the day came, I road alongside Hanma but, when I got to the parking lot, there were a bunch of ex-Moebius members who were already there. Draken looked pretty beat up, and Mikey was there as well. Mikey and Draken had to fight all of the members alone. It was horrible. I even told Mikey to just make a stupid deal with me so I could help, but each time he refused. I didn't know what to do at the time. Between all the chaos and fighting, nobody saw that Draken was stabbed, but I did. I ran to him, hoping that he was still alive and he was, but he was bleeding a lot. I took off my jacket and tried to hold pressure on the wound while I took out my phone to call 911."
Y/N looked like she was about to cry out of frustration. I knew that there was no way she killed him. She took a deep breath to compose herself. "When I tried to take out my phone, Hanma grabbed it from my hands and told me that I was weaker than he thought I was. I pleaded with him to give me the phone back. I couldn't run after him and risk Draken bleeding out. A good person was dying and all I could do was watch. My yelling caught Mikey's attention. When he saw me covered in blood with his best friend on the floor, he lost it. Mikey's never been the same after Draken died."
I can't believe that that happened. If I weren't at the first Moebius fight, Y/N wouldn't have been there on August 3. It's because of me... "How were you accused of murder when you didn't do it," I said to her. "You remember that deal me and Hanma had; he said if I pleaded guilty, he could get me out in 2 years. He said that he had a friend named Kisaki that could help. I didn't know if I could trust him, but he said that I made a deal." Y/N put her hand on her forehead. "Once I got out, all my clients were slowly combining with Toman, so I couldn't do business with anyone. That was when Kisaki offered me a deal."
Kisaki! I know that rat bastard had to do something with this. "He said if I gather him, information, he will help keep my head above water. This is why I own many clubs for people in power; these clubs have installed cameras and recording devices in them, so when I have intel, I give it to Kisaki, and he blackmails them." Y/N clenches her fist and walks over to me. "Kisaki was the one who orchestrated everything. Now I'm stuck as his little lap dog because if I leave, he'll kill me." She puts her hands on my shoulders. "For my favor Takemichi, I want you to leave and don't get involved with Kisaki; he's too dangerous," she said. At a time like this and she's worried about me. "I really wished I was right, but I guess we cant live in a world without violence." I hug her and say, "don't worry, Y/N, I'll save you too."
Sorry, I took so long to upload this was a longer chapter I hope you all enjoyed it!!!
