"You're late."
You paused confused.
Late?
Late?
Inconceivable!
"But umm... Blurr, Sir. The time on the datapad says-" You were cut off
"Early is the new on time. On time the new late." He cast you a glare.
You stiffened a little but nodded, "Of course Blurr Sir.."
He huffed and straightened himself to stretch his arms up over his helm. You vented softly and slowly approached placing the datapad in your subspace.
"Why are you doing that Blurr Sir?" You asked curiously
He paused and gave you a look, "What do you mean 'why?' Are you-not-able-to-grasp-the-concept-of-loosing-your-protoform-before-you-run?!"
You were a little shocked at his sudden outburst, but shook your helm, "I've never...."
Blurr sighed and rubbed his optics, "Of course..." he muttered almost inaudibly
You stood there and shifted awkwardly humming softly. He sighed and started to explain why you should stretch each morning at least and you listened closely happy that he had stopped yelling.
He sighed, "I need to teach you everything huh?"
You hummed a little and shrugged
"How do you run?" He asked
You tilted your helm, "What?"
He sighed loudly, "How do you run?"
"I don't know, I kinda just run. Generally-in-a-straight-line-and-mostly-avoiding-bots." You started to ramble on while the pale blue mech waited for you to finish this ramble, which you did eventually.
"Run this track." He said simply nodding at the track behind him
You blinked in surprise, but moved to the first line on the track humming softly. You settled down in a racers start.
"Just Run?" You asked for a final conformation
"Just run." Blurr confirmed
And so you took off.
That was until you hit a wall roughly half your height that shot straight up out of the ground. It hit right at your hip and at the momentum you were traveling at sent you helm first over it and smashing against the smooth concrete.
You groaned in pain legs up in the air. Blurr approached you, you looked up from where his pedes stopped right before your face.
"Get up."
You grumbled a little but did so with some struggle from your frame sending zaps of pain up your sensory network.
"Now run again."
Your visor flashed at him, but you didn't complain as you shambled back to the starting line.
The wall snapped down and Blurr walked out of the way.
Run and then jump.
That shouldn't be too hard should it?
Turns out it's very hard to jump over something thats half your height at high speeds.
Evidence for this case: your helm met the ground much more than your pedes did.
Why has this so hard!?
You grunted and laid on your tank from your most recent date with the concrete frustrated beyond belief.
"You know maybe changing the way you're running would help?" Blurr sassed
You growled and got back up but your visor dinged meaning this train session was over for the day.
"I'm gonna go and get some energon and sit in a tub of cool packs..." You muttered
"One more time before you leave come on." Blurr stated
You glared a little at him but stomped back over to the starting line. You decided to take his advice and change the way you were running.
This being you changed your stride length.
And...
You made it over, you skimmed the top but whose to judge, though the landing will need to be worked on....
Probably not suppose to land flat on your back several feet away.
But only good things right now.
Only good things.
